I called prior to my appointment and requested a protégé. They asked for pictures of me and for inspiration pictures of what I was interested in. I asked about the price of the protégé service and they said I need to give them $75 deposit and then it would be about 120. Additionally, they mentioned that the 75 went toward the total price of approximately 120. I actually had friends who have had the protégé work on their hair as well, and they were thrilled that I had the same person that they had seen. They let me know that their protégé had seen my pictures and was willing to do my hair. My hairdresser was exceptional with listening to exactly what I wanted, listening to my concerns about what my hair was doing. She had shades that she had pre-thought about she talked to me about every single thing every step of the way she was personable. She was knowledgeable. She was passionate. She knew exactly what she was doing. I felt very comfortable and impressed with her knowledge. She did an excellent job on my hair. I am totally thrilled. She is fantastic. So I went to pay the bill and I was in total shock that it was $330. I also had to remind the girls at the cash register that I had paid a deposit. They did not mention that. So with a tip of $66 we are now around $400 for what I was thinking was maybe going to be 200 at max with the tip included. I was also going off what my other friends had paid when they saw the same hairdresser. So I'm not exactly sure what got lost in translation.

I recently saw Sara for a haircut and she was fabulous! She took time to thoroughly discuss what I was hoping to achieve with my haircut and was honest about expectations of the results. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out and am already booked for my next appointment with Sara 💓

Jamison Shaw never disappoints. I’ve been going to this salon for over 20 years. No matter what I’m having done whether it’s base color, trim, full cut, balyage- excellent results. I would trust every single stylist in this salon to give me the absolute best. The continuing education is a huge factor in Jamison Shaw’s endurance in this competitive city: on trend styles of cutting, extensions, color creations & of course signature balyage along with the best products on the floor for purchase. 10 out of 10 ♥️

I recently got a trim and style from Miguel, and he did an awesome job! He’s very knowledgeable and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. Not only did he give me a great haircut, but he was also super personable and made the experience enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back next time. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience at Jamison Shaw Hairdressers with Aniyah! I was greeted immediately upon entering by Ella who gave me a tour of their newly renovated, very comfortable and well designed salon. The salon was spotless! Aniyah is a very astute and creative artist. Her personality is contagious; and the time I spent with her was one of the best hair cutting experiences of my 60+ year life. I love my new “girly curl” haircut, and I will return for Aniyah to color my hair.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience. The stylist that was assigned to me Erika was incredibly rude, discourteous, made me feel as if I was an inconvenience to her. Waited 30 minutes to have my service started. When I addressed this issue with the front desk the stylist confronted me in front of other clients arguing and making a scene. I’m also very disappointed with the salon who instead of trying to accommodate me, were trying to reschedule my appointment. It takes me an hour to drive to this location and I have been a patron for many years supporting their business, I can’t believe that this was their solution and appreciation for their clients. There was another stylist that stepped in and helped but why that wasn’t the decision of the salon.
