Kuan did a fantastic job straightening my hair. I’ve tried Brazilian blowouts and keratin but Kuan’s treatment has worked the best for me. Also had a great haircut , root touch up and highlights from Kuan this past weekend. So glad I found Kuan!

Kuan is amazing - I definitely recommend her. I have very thick, corse hair that has gotten more unruly over the years. My hair was always up in a ponytail because I couldn’t do anything with it. It took all day for her to complete the treatment but it was well worth it. She is knowledgeable and skilled. It has been a total game changer for me.

I reached out to Kuan for a consultation on the Japanese Thermal Straightening service. What impressed me first was how she immediately addressed my hair needs. She recommended products and then instructed me on how and when to use them. I could immediately tell she cared about giving me the best results possible. She invested her knowledge and time to ensure I would be happy. Once I arrived for the actual service, she was very meticulous with everything she did. She did an amazing job, and I could not be happier with the results. I highly recommend her. She is also very engaging, which is great since you will be spending a lot of time with her if you get this service. One last thing I wanted to note is that she followed up with me a couple of times right after the service to make sure everything was going well. She definitely shows not only her experience and vast knowledge but also made me feel like she really cared. No one can ask for more than that. I highly recommend her and will definitely be back

Kuan did amazing work and is very knowledgeable! I have curly hair and have been straightening it for the past 20yrs, so my hair was not the best plus I have hard water now in my home (not the best combination). She did a hard water treatment along with the thermal straightening treatment and my hair now is amazing! It's been 2 weeks I'm so glad I went to her. I definitely recommend seeing Kuan for your Japanese Straightening treatment.

Kuan was absolutely amazing, i would recommend her to anyone! I got the japanese hair straightening treatment and my hair has never looked better. Im on day 6 after I got it and its beautiful! 7 months later- I just went to kuan for the second time of the Japanese thermal reconditioning, again she did so so GOOD. My hair is so smooth and looks amazing. I will 100% always go back to her. She will fix your dry/damaged hair and make it look beautiful.

I would give 10 stars if i could. I have been to tons of stylist that say they can do curly hair....nope, they can not. But Kuan can. Kuan was absolutely wonderful and we had a great time talking. Extensive knowledge about hair care and products. I got the japanese hair straightening and my hair had not been this AMAZING ever. I would strongly recommend Kaun. Thanks for the amazing hair and will be to see her in the near future...

RUN!!!!!!!! My hair was destroyed by Kuan. Learn from my heart break and go to a professional for your straight perm. (I made this post after my appointment with Kuan but somehow 🙄 Google put it under review, so I am reposting it. And adding texts of her telling the price is 265 then after calling me a liar and making up lies that my hair was wiry and fried at the top before my appointment which you can clearly see is false from my pictures) I went in for a touch up on my Japanese straight perm I got in Japan, and her treatment absolutely fried the top of my hair. I can only assume the product was left in too long with her multiple breaks she took while the solution sat in my hair!! (idk what she did outside but every time she left me it was for a long time and she came back smelling bad like smoke) she even left me once for what seemed to be about 25 minutes and got food then brought to to the back to eat it I guess since she was there for maybe another 10 more minutes. Of course I am not a professional and don’t claim to be so I didn’t know what she was doing was frying my hair minute by minute. I realized how bad it was when I got home and got a good look in the mirror. When I asked her for help because after what she did, my hair looked and felt like straw at the top, she called me a liar and said that my hair felt and looked like that when I came in. Yes I had breakage at the bottom (but it didn’t feel dry) but that can be cut, the damage she did to my hair is at the top, the entire crown of my head and front sides of my hair. (Even if my hair was too damaged for this treatment, isn’t part of what a professional does is assess the hair and decide what is good and what’s not for the hair? I made the mistake of trusting that she would make the judgments of a professional) Then she even tried to scare me into giving her money saying she had to use product on my hair (which she put in without asking and I bet she put it in there because she saw herself what she did to my hair and she tried to fix her mistake but it didn’t work). And she said the damage was from my first perm but that’s a lie as you can see from my profile picture, it was taken 2 months after my straight perm in Japan (as you can see I was still in Asia, visiting Busan Korea before coming back to the states) I am so depressed. I’ve been crying for days, there’s nothing I can do to hide the hair. (3 months later and still every single time I see my hair and feel it, it hurts my heart, literally hurts my chest) Also my scalp is hurting and tender from her not only chemically burning my hair, but also my scalp. I want my money back. I have had to spend so much already on products to try and correct what she did to me. -The pictures with the red writing are before the disaster and the same day after I left Deja Vu “salon” - The pictures with the white writing are before the disaster and 3 months after (present day) showing how awful all around my hair is after what kuan did to my hair) (Update!!! 5/07/24 She is still harassing me with lies and accusations over text about it, even attacking my faith. The screen shot is attached at the end)

I wasn't sure how well my kinky hair was going to take to the Japanese hair straightening treatment but I knew Kuan was experienced so I trusted her with my hair and it came out Perfect! She did such an amazing job. I'm so happy I chose her. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting this treatment to come to her it's so worth it.

Great experience. Kuan is very knowledgeable as well as a perfectionist. My hair was damaged walking in but she took her time to get it to a healthier state. The straightening process has left my hair looking the best it has in years. She also gave me great tips to insure my hair is never that damaged again. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Kuan not only did a great job with my hair but she went above and beyond by going outside to buy me dinner and shared with me her dumplings! My hair took about 8 hours to finish because it was so thick but Kuan remains calm and made sure the outcome will turn out great. We talked like we’re old buddies, sharing stories, etc. Very attentive and shows genuine concern for you about everything. Amazing customer service, I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat!

Although I liked the results of my granddaughter and her mother, I still had some reservations about the process for my 10 year old. I finally agreed to get her hair done and I am so happy with the results! Ms. Kuan is very knowledgeable, friendly and kind. She answered all my questions and gave snacks to my daughter during the process. It took about 5-6 hours, but it was worth it. Ms. Kuan asked, explained and gave her advice before she did any trimming. My daughter loves her hair and is now able to manage it better on her own.

I come every 6-8 month to get a perm. I show her a picture of the perm and the perm turns out like the picture. I get a perm because my hair is really straight, coarse, and it grows down to my eyes.. which is annoying. The perm always turns out great and hair looking great! Always appreciate Kuan.

I did a Japanese Straightening with Kuan two weeks ago and let me tell you she is very knowledgeable and she knows what she is doing with your hair. She also gives you tips to manage and mantain your hair. I moved few months ago and I'm glad that I found her to treat my wavy hair. Very happy with my results!

I got the Japanese permanent hair straightening with Kuan last week. My hair was damaged because I always used flat iron. But Kuan did an excellent job. She took care of my hair. I’m so happy with the result my hair is soft now and straight. So I don’t have to use flat iron anymore. I’m definitely coming back to Kuan to do my hair again.

I’m so glad I got the Japanese permanent hair straightening with Kuan. I started using the flat iron so my hair was getting damaged. Kuan did an excellent job and I’m so happy with the results!!!!! I’m definitely coming back to Kuan to do my hair again and I definitely recommend Kuan's work. It is a long process but worth it.

Me and my boyfriend love Kuan! She does a great job on both womens and mens cuts. I felt super uneasy because I've had stylists mess up my hair in the past, but Kuan gave me EXACTLY what I wanted! She styles my boyfriend's hair perfectly as well
