I've had several back to back terrible curly cuts by "curly hair specialists" and I was honestly so scared to get my hair cut again but after a thorough consultation all my fears were gone. Her care and intentionality show through in the quality of her work and kindness. This is now my second time getting my hair cut here and I will be back again.

I was so impressed with Jasmine Sky Salon and my appointment with Candy Spearman. She was so great to talk to and really assessed my hair needs before she colored and cut it. I love the fact that she was very knowledgeable about curly hair and the techniques that you need to use in working with curly hair. This was the first time in about 10 years that I had my hair styled after the cut - because I usually just do it myself. I love my new hair cut and will definitely be back! Thank you Candy Spearman! You are awesome!! So much fun to talk to and a true professional as well. I will recommend her to all my friends and family.

Candy is a fabulous stylist!! My before and after pictures say it all!! Candy asked lots of questions to know exactly what I and my curly kids wanted, asked a lot of follow up and clarification questions, and really knew what she was doing with curly/coily hair. In a very personable and friendly way, she put me at ease when I was nervous to try a new stylist. I’m so thankful I gave Jasmine Sky a try!

Candy is amazing!! I've had a few appointments with her now and have never left unhappy. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable on how to care for and style curly hair, but she shares what she knows with the clients. I learn something new about my hair every time I book with her. curly haired girls, book with her!! I've never trusted someone with my hair more.

If I could leave 10 stars, I would! After recently moving to Greenville, I tried other salons and was never satisfied- until I found Candy!! Prior to finding her, after leaving the salon, I had to immediately go straight home to wash and restyle my hair. After my first consultation and then curl cut With Candy, I knew she was the one for me! Candy has taught me more about my hair in just a couple of visits than I have known in my entire 41 years. She is extremely knowledgeable about curly hair in general, but also about the entire product line she uses. In addition she is very pleasant and super fun to talk to. I cannot sing Candy’s praises enough and I recommend her wholeheartedly!

I have gone to this salon three times in the span of three months. Twice for myself and once with my very picky and opinionated grandmother. My first appointment back in October was a big deal for me. My lovely grandmother had always done my hair and I was a little afraid of having a stranger poke around my head. This was especially frightening because I had heard so many horror stories of people getting their hair severely damaged by a "specialist" who didn't care. Moreover, I had been natural for a year now and getting attached to my curls. However, I'd been wanting a change and since I was no wiz at cutting my own hair, I decided to bite the bullet and let a professional cut and silk press it. Candice was a godsend. She was gentle and kind. The first thing she did was compliment my hair & ask why I wanted to silk press it all. Weirdly enough, her asking me that showed just how much she cared as a person. Every trim was done with my knowledge. After blowing out my hair, she showed me the damaged ends and let me decide whether or not I wanted them to go. Incidentally, by the time we'd gotten to that part I had spent so much time talking to and getting to know her I held no reservations at all. She cut it styled it and sent me on my way. I would 100% recommend her for everyone, especially hesitant naturals. My hair is very dense, long and thick. Because of that the appointment went over time. Luckily I was her last appointment and she didn't treat me unkind because I cut into her time. She was very gracious and let me know that normally she charges a fee if it goes over the slot but because she didn't say it in the beginning she wouldn't worry about. I'd recommend you give a description of your hair in the notes so she can schedule you accordingly. Again, I cannot rave enough about her! Candy is amazing!!! I have 3c curly hair and many stylists do not understand curly hair. That is why it has taken me 20 years to find someone who understands mixed hair. I have walked into many salons, when the stylist say, I can cut curly hair, as soon as they see me, oh, I didn't mean that curly. Candy was so welcoming and she knew exactly what to do. She spoke life into my hair. It went from blah to light, bouncy, defined curls. She even showed me that I don't need gel and heavy products, a light leave-in and some mouse is all I need! If you have curly hair, Candy is the stylist for you!!!

Candy is AMAZING!!!! She has done wonders with my daughter’s hair since the first time we met her with the consultation. She gives great recommendations throughout the appointments. She most recently did a balayage coloring on my daughter’s hair and she hasn’t stopped getting compliments on it everywhere we go. It’s always a great experience, she’s the BEST!!!

Excellent and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a great stylist, Candy is it!!! I am new to the area and finding a new stylist is not always easy. And of course I am a high maintenance client. Lol. With the impact of COVID, I finally went natural (never thought I could do it:-) and that made it even harder to find the right stylist who could do straight and curly hair. Through a referral, I finally landed in Candy’s chair. Candy is more than an amazing stylist. She’s an awesome professional and a sweet person. I immediately felt comfortable with her professionalism, passion/knowledge of healthy hair, and overall talent. It was quickly apparent to me that she knows her craft and will go the extra mile to take good care of her clients. I can’t say enough about this great salon and Candy. As someone who used to going to the commercial salons for a basic haircut, I am blown away by the knowledge that Candy shared with me about my own hair! She understands my curly thin hair and has products to help me manage it. Each time I see her, I learn something new. Since starting to go to Candy, people comment on how pretty my curls are, ask me what I’m using, say my hair look thicker/healthier/fuller and I feel confident to share my newly learned knowledge. I have been with Candy for 5 years now and have ALWAYS been satisfied with her work and services. A couple years back when she took a maternity leave, it was the saddest few weeks for me. I tried two other stylists and was very unhappy. Thankfully, she came back and all was right again. She is the only one who understands me and teaches me how to care for my hair. She doesn’t pressure. She simply offers professional advice. She has a passion for her job and her clients and that shows in her work every time. I highly recommend her! I love Candy!! She has taught me to embrace my curls and how to protect them whenever I decide to straighten them out. She brings any hair cut I’ve wanted to life and always finds the best products to keep my hair protected.
