As my husband and I walked over to this salon a hairstylist approached me and had had a "no-show" and told me that she could cut my hair after her clients appt. that was already there. I was in extreme need of a haircut so I was very happy. I got a really short cut which is what I wanted. She did a great job with my thin, straight, cowlicky hair. I will go back to her in 6 weeks.

Worst experience. The stylist arrived 1.5 late to my appointment. Then, she cut my skin while fixing the wig.

I had scheduled an appointment for braids with a stylist named Octavia and she canceled less than two hours before our scheduled time. I attempted to work with the braider despite her rescheduling my 11 am appointment to 5 pm, but she ended up cancelling on me on the same day.The braider has policies regarding customer cancellations and lateness, but she could not follow them herself.

I have been coming to Jayah Rose for about a year. Ruby does my silk presses. Not only is the result beautiful, but Ruby makes sure she takes care of the health of my hair. My son also recently got his re-twists done by Ruby. I highly recommend Jayah Rose Salon in Portland. All of their stylists are amazing!

I had been trying since 04/25/22 to get an appointment to retouch my relaxer and colors. I never got a response back. My last message was sent 05/02/22. To this day I have not heard back from her. And I really liked my hairstylist, just bummed that now with an upcoming trip to California I was left to find someone in LA during my trip there with a hairstylist I know out there who agreed to see me, but I also had to find a hairstylist for after I come back for an appointment at the end of August. It’s the worse feeling believing I nearly had no one to do my hair because absolutely no one in Longview, WA can do my hair or they are not skilled in doing black hair. It’s the one thing I regret leaving California because I never had this problem. I hope everything is fine with her. And if I did anything to her I am truly sorry.

I have been getting my hair done from Jestina for the past few years. I had some issues with breakage due to lack of vitamins and poor hair care on my part, she was able to give suggestions. My hair is more healthier then it has been for a long time!!

I loved everything about the salon! The women that worked there were fun, the conversation was lively, and Nikki my stylist has given me the best haircut I ever had in my life. I have curly hair ,which takes extra extra skill to cut. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

I rally enjoyed The hospitality the nice Ness the way she was when I was there she does a great job she cut my hair she was very nice and polite reasonable came back again in about my mom hey mom I really enjoy her doing her hair and I recommend that she do other people here too I really liked her thank you

I really love this salon. It’s a nice space, clean and everyone is super kind. Nikky is a great stylist and very sweet too. I always feel welcome there and they are good about listening and delivering when it comes to haircuts. I highly recommend this place.

Noone ever returns your phone call or confirms, they are all too busy and so unorganized. Tee was so unprofessional and unreliable. In the end, I did finally get my hair done and it was such a hassle, and the stylist wasn't as skilled as I hoped for the price I paid. I won't be coming back.

This salon is so horrible they stole my money!!!! They didn’t do my hair and just took my money 😡 and they don’t even have a lot of color hair dye SCAM SALON DON’T COME HERE!! They take your money and don’t style your hair the way you want absolutely the worse place I’ve ever been.

I recently went in the shop for the first time with a situation with my hair thinking that I’d mess up starting a healthy hair journey, but they saved my hair a best it could be coming out from their with a thankful heart to my stylist and I’m so thankful to God to sending me here bc the hairstylist save my hair, also her and all the lady’s gave me great advice how to take of my hair so I won’t ruin it again, females helping females loving supporting helping kindness vibez, like for real I like I felt comfortable and I’m a real shy person and I felt straight away these are the right people who can help bc one their professional and they took care of me the best way, Ima finna definitely continue to come do my hair journey over here. I recommend people getting their hair done here bc they’re so dope and their work as well.
