I saw Cora. Knows what she's doing. I got a great cut 1st and foremost. My demi dye was great too. 4 stars because her styling abilities are not what I was looking for. Doesn't mean she isnt phenomenal. I was just looking for magazine/hair show perfection but got a really good every day look. I may come back to have her do my relaxer and maintenance. But overall, great great job with Ms. Cora. The front desk is trash. Horrible attendance. Seemed preoccupied and stylists had to help. Causing them to try to steal business. Not happy with that type of atmosphere. Cora is/was great.

Vanessa cut my hair. First time visiting JCPenney salon and it was a super straightforward and easy experience. I booked my appointment online and went in later the same day. Also convenient to get shopping done afterwards!

I love going to the JCPenney salon. It’s close to my house and has plenty of parking. Marivela is my favorite! She’s listens to you and gives great suggestions. She is very professional and just a pleasure to work with. The salon is a hidden treasure in the back of the store! A++++

My son has straight thick hair that is hard to cut. Marivel always does an incredible job! She always is knowledge about the lastest hair styles and cuts my son's hair exactly like he wants it. Marivel is experienced with all types of hair textures and I highly recommend her and the JCPenney Salon at Tech Ridge.

I have been taking my sons, nephews and myself to Marivel for about a year now. She always goes above and beyond to make our experience fun, fast, and a great cut every time. My oldest son has always had a “rough” time getting his haircut but ever since we’ve been going to Marivel he ENJOYS IT!! I never dreamed of the day he actually asked to get his haircut!! Marivel is so personable and goes out of her way to accommodate your schedule. Last time I got my haircut with her she worked her magic and I walked out with beautiful hair. She’s simply amazing at what she does and we found our forever hair stylist. 💗

I set an appointment online but they didn't have my appt. Maybe it was user error, though idk. A few weeks later I called and set an appt. Sasha did my hair so good! It's beautiful! I got an ombre cut and style!! Highly recommend. My advice is that if you set an appointment online just call to make sure you did it correctly. Despite that minor inconvenience, I am a 100% satisfied customer and will be back.

Marivel is an awesome hairstylist! She always makes my hair look so good whether I want to use my natural dark brown hair color, be a red head, or be a blondie. She saved my hair years ago when another hairstylist fried my hair with an overprocessed perm. She always gives me great advice on the best hair products for my fine hair. I highly recommend Marivel.

The salon is clean and staff is presentable. Marivel is one of the few that has been able to cut my hair as I want it (my hair is just not easy to work on). She is friendly and proffecional and will makes sure she is doing what you need. I will keep coming back.

I went for a color change and came out in shock because it is nothing like what I asked for. I spent so much money that now I feel stuck wearing this haircolor. I am a natural brunette so I wanted some redish highlights, maybe even caramel but what happened instead is that I am now blonde. Not happy at all. If I wanted blonde then yes but I showed her a picture so I dont understand. Very upsetting. Ruined my natural color. I hate it. As you can see from the photo I showed her and what was done, very different.

Sasha did a great job to my hair, I love it! That was On 11/22/19 I had to update my experience again 5/30/2020 , I changed rating stars from 5 to 3. The reason is that they canceled my appointment on the same day and I was assigned to someone else on the following week, Marivel was super nice but the process took 7 hours!! For a hair cut and highlights (short hair)!!!!! I was frustrated as I usually get it done within 3-4 hours . She seemed new and wasn't fast as the other stylists. she finally got the color/haircut right but I was charged more money. 😑
