OMG when I tell you I will only ever get my hair done by Simona, I mean it!!! She is the best not only was my shampoo one of the best shampoos of my life, but my cut was perfect!! I have always left salons feeling unhappy because no one could get my hair the way I wanted it, but Simona literally gave me everything I could have ever dreamed of! I have never been more in love with my hair!! Thank you Simona!! 🥹🥰 wish I could give you 10 stars ⭐️ 10/10 recommend!!

I recommend Jami!! Came here for haircuts today with my mom and she was so kind and welcoming, I immediately loved her energy and felt comfortable. She is so kind and gentle (which is good for fragile hair). I went for a chop that was new and big to me and she was so helpful with helping us decide what to do when we didn't know what to do and discussing it with recommendations. This is quite literally the best salon experience I have had in years (and lifted a lot of my anxiety around getting my hair done from previous experiences that made me scared). It was so refreshing to feel taken care of and I look forward to recommending her and being back for my next cut. She is amazing at her job and you can tell she enjoys it.

Rose is amazing! I drove 5 hours round-trip for her #chi Envirocare keratin treatment, and it was totally worth it. She's incredibly skilled, and my hair looks and feels fantastic! I can't see going to anyone else but Rose!

Very unfortunate I was told they have a curl specialist but they didn’t. I started with the hair cut but realized quickly the stylist was not using curl specialist techniques. I was issued a refund but will not be returning.

Came here at 5pm on 11/25/23 to just see if I could get a hair cut. Two employees were at the register, one was buying stuff and wasn’t on duty helping another and totally ignoring us. I guess we were not cool and young enough for attention so I stood there for 15 minutes while the off duty employee was buying stuff. I guess JCPenny salon doesn’t need my business and I will be cancelling my credit card and if you don’t need my business, I will find a stores and salon that will.

I have been a client at JCPenney for quite some time. I waited a week to make this complaint not only am I going to leave a complaint on here but I’m also going to call in to her manager. This complaint is about Rose in the salon at the citadel. I’ve been pretty busy this week and I needed to make my appointment and I did it on the app on my phone. I have made all my other appointments this way. When I got to my appointment because I booked the appointment for 11 o’clock am you have to fight your way into the building because they don’t open until 11:00am, I got to the counter at 11:06 AM. I had a gentleman come over and ask me my name and I let him know that I had booked an appointment. Rose was at her station working with another client only a few feet away. She stated oh she snuck her appointment ( in a very rude voice) in and treated me very poorly the entire time of my appointment. Rushing through my haircut. We spoke just a little bit and I was letting her know how my week was going. I really enjoyed getting my haircut with Rose previously before this event happened. Unfortunately, I will never go back because I don’t care for being treated so poorly. I’m putting this online in hopes that nobody else will book their appointment by the app and get treated the way I was treated. Being in the service industry, customer service should be your main priority.

Very very upset and quite panicked tbh I have a very important vacation coming up and I wanted to look my best and not happy at all spent almost 150 and still have to go and figure out how to fix it very very upset do not recommend Dylan at all.i left in tears

I booked an appointment here with Richard after seeing what a fantastic job he did with my mother-in-law's haircut. I have a lot of really thick hair, and it's really hard to get a haircut that doesn't puff out or get in my face. I dread haircuts because they typically don't turn out well, and overall, my hair really frustrates me. Richard is incredibly skilled and very thoughtful, he asked questions to understand what needed to be done, and took the time to look at my hair from different angles. He also explained what he was doing and why, and made a few recommendations for my hair type. For the first time in my life, I'm actually really happy with my haircut! I'll definitely come back to have my hair cut by Richard, and I recommend him to anyone looking for a new stylist.

I waited for 15 minutes from when I was scheduled for an appointment. All the staff including the manager were standing around talking about their personal life. I told them I was leaving and they were unprofessional, and the manager proceeded to be rude and say bye bye hope to see you again and laughed about it. I do not recommend this salon to anyone the staff including the manager are all unprofessional.

We went in the other day with a hair color emergency. Dylan took on the catastrophe and my daughter came out with beautifully colored and healthy hair. I am very impressed.

I think this place is okay if you just want to get a hair cut or something that is not elaborated. I went there with my sister and spent 220 dlls to get her hair done. She wanted a gray color and her hair was virgin. She ended up with a purple/violet hair when Sabrina finish I told her that I wasn’t happy with the result. Her response was “ well what do you want me to do, I already die her hair multiple times” she was upset and tired but it’s not our fault that she couldn’t do what we ask for. I was told a supervisor will contact me and that never happened. They just told us to wash her hair to get the gray color that my sister wanted but that never happened plus her hair was really damage and dry so she had to cut it off. Sabrina had a rude attitude and didn’t even felt bad for damaging my sister’s hair. I don’t know if she treat us like that because we don’t speak a lot of English or that is just how she is with her clients.

My wife came home in tears, she asked the dude not to take any length and to just do his best giving her some layers. My wife's hair was very long and healthy. Even he noticed she had no split ends or anything. She told him, "yeah so please keep the length, I just need layers and no thinning." Next thing she knows she's looking in the mirror and dude had cut 6-8 inches from her length. Don't go here if you want a decent hair cut. Getting some layers shouldn't be a huge issue if you know how to cut hair. I guess this guy just doesnt care.

No different than going to Supercuts or some other everyday hair cutter. Paid $50 for my daughter and I to get our haircut, waited extra 15 min. for my stylist which was frustrating since I canceled my other appointment to make sure I could get both our haircuts at the same time. So ofcorse my 6 yr old was impatient waiting for me to finish. At the end, haircuts weren't any different than what we get at a Supercuts or smart clips, expect double the price.

I scheduled for a hair bread for my daughter to take pictures. The girl on the phone told me she couldn’t they’ll me how much it will cost. I went in thinking it can’t be too much, it’s a 5 minute braid, right? I walked out of there $50 lighter! Fifty dollars! For a hair style! Will never, ever, ever, go back!!!! And to top it all the girl that started the braid didn’t know how to do it and ended up having another girl come over to braid it....So disappointed!
