I had tape in extensions done by a stylist named Jen. They turned out terrible. I was getting these huge knots in the back of my head and they were falling out. I also kept making appointments with her and she kept cancelling them so she is very unprofessional. My husband doesn't have a license and he did them for me and they turned out so much better.

Lee is the best. She is very friendly, listens to you needs and wants! Trust me you will always leave happy! I love the way she cuts my hair and the way I feel afterwards!

Took my 8 year old daughter for a haircut on Sunday. She received a shampoo, cut, and quick blow dry.. just as the description says when booking online for a kid's cut. The total should have been $20. The woman proceeded to try and charge me $50. After realizing I was not ok with the total, she acted like she was giving me a discount and charged me $35.. which is still too much for the service we received. I felt taken advantage of.

I went in today and asked if I could get a wash and silk press done. Thankfully the lovely ladies (Charity and Lusa) allowed me to get my hair done and let me tell ya they were both extremely friendly and Lusa (I believe that’s how she spells it) was absolutely amazing! I don’t trust a lot of people when it comes to my hair but she did an absolutely FANTASTIC job! I am definitely coming back!

I would never recommend this salon. The stylist never showed up to cut my hair after I confirmed my appointment twice. Once I checked in 10 minutes before my appointment I waited 1 hour and 10 minutes to be completely ignored by every stylist in the salon. I left without receiving service. Terribly disappointed!

I would not recommend this place for a simple haircut, I was charged 40 dollars for a simple haircut no shampoo, or anything else.

My husband got his haircut here last week . We got 1 hour wait time , & used that time to do some shopping at JCPenney . Cut & beard trim was around 45 bucks all together. Hairstylist , I forgot her name , she is from Korea , was great !

My haircut turned out perfect! Although my boyfriend was somewhat disappointed by his hair cut and hopes to get a touch up. I think it looks okay, but make sure to fully list and comferm what kind of haircut your looking for. Check voice-mails because adjustments may have to be made after booking appointment.

Worst haircut I've had in years. I asked for a trim (wash, cut). She didn't take much hair off the top but gave me a strange layered shelf cut - my hair actually "poufs" up in the back and is difficult for me to style. This was after I waited forty minutes for my booked appointment. I've used Penney salons in the past, but no more. And I definitely would not use the one at University Park Mall. AVOID.

I like it here for a basic trim! Prices are really affordable & deals always available on products. Haven't found a stylist I'm in love with here yet...seems like they have a higher turn over and I always see someone new.

My wife made an appointment today (8-31-19) for 10:00. The appointment was under my daughter’s name and telephone number, but she was told there was no appointment listed. The woman insulted my wife by suggesting she called the wrong store. She was told to have a seat and they would get to her a soon as possible. Three people came in after my wife and were all tended to first. My wife, tired of sitting, stood up and was beginning to become visibly upset. The original woman then had the audacity to tell my wife that the stylist who was scheduled to cut her hair didn’t show up for work. (She couldn’t convey this beforehand?) She said the best she could do is get her in at 11:30. She offered no apology whatsoever.
