Worse experience ever! Stay away from the Salon at this location! I went in on Saturday to see if my color could be changed to the color I wanted. Had a consultation with the manager he explained the process and introduced me to the lady that would be fixing my color the next day. I was free all day and he set my appointment for 230pm. I arrived at 215pm just to be told the manager was not working today and that I had been changed to a different stylist Que who was a master stylist yet she wasn't here yet. I asked why I was switched and the lady said because she already had another appointment on the books. Which no one showed up while I was there. Not one other customer ever came in for anyone. The lady Que asked what I was getting. I asked her if she was not briefed she said yeah yet she wanted to hear it from me. So I told her what I was told by the manager and showed her the color I wanted. She was very defiant and went against everything the manager said. Needless to say I did not get the color I wanted,I got 3 different colors and it took her to closing to screw my head up. Then she told me she was not styling my hair, that I had to leave wet. Now it's 21 degrees outside. So I told her she was out of her mind if she thought I was leaving with wet hair in this weather. She was very rude! I had to call the managers. I had to blow dry my own hair even though I was charged for a style and blow dry. Que was very rude and unprofessional. I had to go to work at a new job looking unkept. I retured the next dayvto get my color fixed and the manager was there we spoke and he tried to have thevsame lady fix my hair yet I refused and he got another lady to fix it. It is better yet still not the color I asked for. I will get it fixed when I return to San Antonio later this month. So save yourself the trouble and don't go here where their master stylist are jokes. I have been getting my hair done at JCpennys for over 17 years now and never have I been treated like this. I will never return to a JcPennys after this experience again. They have lost all credibility with me.

Walking through the store and the kids was having fun by talking load. The cashier basically told us to get out of the store.

Laura was very professional! She listened to what I wanted and recommended what was best for what I was going for! The salon was clean and staff is very friendly! I will be scheduling my families haircuts here!

My hair looked the exact same walking out as I did walking in. I booked a Shampoo and Diffuse service and never received the diffuse. Instead, the stylist Lisa actually said that she number one didn’t even know I was supposed to be there and number two didn’t know what a diffuser was or did. I was then sat in for a shampoo and condition that wasn’t bad. Once in the styling chair, it went terrible. She consistently kept asking how I use the diffuser at home which I consistently kept telling her I have not used it at home, I only know what the style looks like. She asked me what it was supposed to look like which I pointed to the wall behind her that looked almost exactly like the style. For the next 30 minutes to an 45 minutes my hair was pulled at while adding moisturizer to it and that was it. She essentially pulled my hair out with her fingers into an Afro style all while making stereotype jokes and comments such as, “You look like you’re about to get on the Soul Train.”, (speaking about another client in a blaccent) “Can’t no white lady do that.”, and disrespecting my Alma mater stating that it was the new “bad” school. I was then told that I would get a discount as the style hadn’t been done properly to quickly having that retracted as the price wasn’t that high. I then went home to give myself an actual style as I paid to have done here. If you have textured hair of any kind, I would advise to steer clear.

My Hairstylist for many years quit during Covid and I had been searching for someone to color and cut my hair. Having bad experiences in the past with coloring and cutting short hair I was very hesitant. When I arrived I showed Tuyet Kieu pictures of what I was looking for, a short undercut pixie and a soft lavender, purple, color. Not having colored and cut for a while my hair was dark with grey and long for me. Tuyet explained that it would take a double treatment to get it back white to lighten up enough. I agreed knowing ahead of time is what it would take. She cut the length off into a rough pixie then began the coloring. After coloring and conditioning she blew dry and cut into the short style I requested, Pixie on the top and shaved on the side and back. The color came out Great! After coloring my hair for many of my 58 years I have never been told about using "Purple Shampoo and Conditioner" to prevent the yellowing of my lightened hair. She explained every step as she began throughout the process. Being experienced in having coloring my hair I knew it was going to take along time. Due to the time needed to color I have paid hundreds of dollars to get the look I have wanted. I was very surprised and pleased to pay $135 buy the purple shampoo and conditioner along with a tip for less than $200. I was very pleased with the job that Tuyet did that I will return to her monthly for trims and touch-ups. I HAVE FOUND MY NEW HAIR STYLIST! YEA!!!

The hairdresser that did my daughter's hair that day was taking the place of Shannon whom we really like. This lady's name prounced "Q",is very skilled and took the time to be very accurate and thorough. I will go back to her.

Scheduled my daughter a service online. When we showed up for the appointment, we were told that there was a mix up in the scheduling, appointments were overlapped. A stylist was called in to work to handle my daughter's appointment, but it was rescheduled for a half hour later.
