Ashley has trimmed my hair twice now, and I am always very pleased with my cut. Ashley always makes sure it is perfect before I go. Her attention to detail is second to none, and I recommend her highly.

If you have textured hair, please don't go to JCP Salon @ Alamo Ranch. The salon will allow you to schedule services, but the staff is not trained to style textured hair. One stylist came over to say that my 'texture' requires more time to style. The stylist was really nice, but I ended my appointment early for fear that my hair would be damaged. I was in tears when I walked out of the store. JCP should reconsider advertising textured hair services until it has the staff that is qualified to complete the service.

I had an appointment today with Cynthia. She was so nice, listened to my thoughts and gave a very detailed hair cut that I absolutely love. She took her time and didn’t rush through the cut. Thanks so much Cynthia! You’re the best!

The worst salon ever! Not once, but twice, did they mess up my boy’s cuts. You tell them you want it a certain way, and the stylists will do whatever they want instead. They messed up both my boy’s hair cuts and on top of that one of my son’s got his ear cut by the clippers. Not a nick, but two whole cuts!!! We will never return to this location. All these stylists need to go back and take their courses again or have their licenses revoked!!

I went in for a cut and dye (partial highlights) I expected it to take a few hours, maybe 4, 5 at most, since I had this cut and dye before somewhere else. I was there more than 7 hours. The stylists definitely knew what she was doing but she had no sense of urgency. When she finally put the dye in, it should have only taken 30 minutes according to her. I guess she thought she could take in a walk in client within that time, but she did not manage her time well because almost 40 minutes passed and I needed to be rinsed while she was still cutting a male haircut. Her co worker rinse me instead. I sat in a chair dripping wet for over 20 minutes waiting for her to be done w the gentleman, my jacket was soaked by then. Everyone was gone by then as well, I was the last one. The store was closed. She only then quickly cut my hair but did not have time to dry and style it. I paid for cut, dye and style. I left with wet unstyled hair. The only upside is I did like the color. As far as the cut, I have tried styling it myself and it's not too bad. Won't go again

I was lucky to get a same day appointment. My only request. " Make me look pretty." Vasthi kept telling me how beautiful I was..once I left my appointment I felt beautiful! She did amazing

I would prefer to give less than 1 star. In February of this year, Alexus cut my hair, and it was the most atrocious excuse for a cut I've ever seen. I've had two stylists look at my hair since then, and they have both just shaken the heads and kept asking, "What did she do to your hair?!" It's been embarrassing to say the least. Save yourself the hassle and go anywhere but there.

Had a really great time! My stylist Kyleen was perfect and I’ve had her remain my stylist for a few months now. She always ensures the look I want is what I get. Just like her work she is wonderful and I greatly recommend her!

I can't tell you what an absolute wonderful experience I had at this salon today! I spoke with the most lovely Barbara, who set me up with the fabulous Erika! I was scared to get my hair done after 3 years due to several bad experiences. Needless to say, Erika is beyond a master of cutting & styling hair. Thank you more tan words can say to both of you for making me feel so special, unjudged, and beautiful! ❤️

My mother went in for a basic haircut with long layers and style (curled). Her hair didn't look even look curled it looked like the stylist got random uneven sections to curl, and then to top it it doesn't look like she has long layers it all looks like one length and is uneven.

The absolutely rudest person I have ever encountered. Did not introduce herself, immediately started telling me what was wrong with my hair without even listening. Acted like my presence was ruining her day. Terrible attitude-customer service. I did not allow her to touch me. Go somewhere else where they actually want to be there and they enjoy their job.

Needs more training. Not fair for customers who cannot spend a lot of money who want to get a haircut, a system of $$$$$ has to be in place. If you have a little bit of money, gets you a stylist that will not cut your hair well.

When dealing with a stylist who says they have 20+ yrs of experience, you expect to be able to ask for a basic, angled bob with layers in the back and get a great result, no? Well, no. Anyone who knows the definition of an angled bob knows it goes DOWN towards the front… idk what I got, but it looks more like a 2001 mom cut than the cute mom bob I was going for. I was not impressed with Joel.

I went in for the first time for Highlights with Marie... Dear God do not let this women touch your hair... I'm STILL trying to get the ORANGE out of it. I couldn't even take photos at my best friends babyshower this weekend because my hair kept coming out in patches of ORANGE ☹. I went in a second time and had them try to fix it and it looks some what saved. But like I said I STILL have so much ORANGE coming out I can't even take photos... HORRIBLE! IT'S A NIGHTMARE. I have never had highlights this BAD before.

My nieces were down for a visit and they wanted to get their hair done. They each wanted a vibrant color combination. Alma was their stylist and she did a fantastic job! She listened to what they wanted, and we couldn't be happier with the results! Thanks Alma!
