Based on my experience here, I received very good customer service. However, the haircut I received was pretty bad. What I asked for was nothing complicated or crazy. The individual I had cutting my hair just didn't seem to know what they were doing. Overall, would only recommend for a different hair stylist.

JO RUINED MY HAIR. I had been to her twice prior. First time was perfect. 2nd time she messed it up pretty bad so I do not know why I ever went back. I almost felt like it was done intentionally because Idk how a master stylist could mess up this badly. My hair is naturally red (coppery auburn) but it's vibrancy had faded. So the first time she did a good job. I had asked for copper hair with high and lowlights.... 2nd time, asked for same thing but she dyed my hair this intensely unnatural crimson purple red. Almost matched hers. And the highlights were spotty with clear lines around my face. It was awful. She said she "forgot my formula because she was moving her notes from phone to new phone and had lost it but will do it better next time" i told her the first time she did it that she had done the all over color, processed it, rinsed, THEN did the high and lowlights. She said 'did i?"... So i asked her to do it that way. She refused Don't know why I went back. The 3rd time seemed so intentional. I dislocated my shoulder getting out of our car (should have taken the sign)... I asked for what she did the First time and specifically said please make it a natural color do not make it dark. She left the color on my hair for 3hrs UNDER THE HEATER while she did other clients. I told her it was burning badly. She asked if it was bearable and I said "it burns" she said she had to finish up with that client and she wash it out. She washed it out and it was BLACK... Black black. And dark purple. She brought other stylist d over (none of her co workers seemed to like her really) and they were all so apologetic. My husband was FURIOUS. I was crying. Because we aren't rich. This is something we saved back for for a mother's day gift... He told me not to pay. She wanted 300 plus a tip. Then she said "just take my tip off" which left the 300. We said no. We got it down to like 220bux... I went home and went to Twitter to talk to JCP. They saw the pics, apologized, and instantly refunded me.... AVOID JO. if you go here, the other girls are nice and they seemed to do good work... But jo (i think it's Joanne?)... Avoid

Juno is awesome he took care of us he made my mother-in-law's hair look beautiful my only I have nothing against him he's awesome the best but their prices are outrageous for just not a wash but just a cut and curl your hair $70 about fell out I guess times are changing do you know I love you but I'm not going to JCPenney no more I can't afford it

Kylie is a color genus! I came into the salon over two weeks ago not wanting my blonde hair and not knowing what to do. She knew exactly what to do and as this beautiful toner color slowly washes out I'll be back blonde again. In the meantime, I'm very much enjoying the transition. Thank you, Kylie!

10/13/2022 Gina botched my hair Lilia saved it 10/15/2022. I paid $40 for uneven hair ! One side thinned out the other side THICK AND UNTOUCHED , GINA has the worst technique i have ever watched cut my hair ! I called the next day to let them know I wanted it fixed the next day, I went in and Lilia saved them from having a scene ! I had just went in to another woman who did a awesome job a few months ago ! Gina ruined my experience, LILIA saved THEM. I HOPE THE BLONDE BOSS LADY GAVE LILIA THE MONEY I PAID GINA BC GINA DID NOT DESERVE A DIME. . I am pretty sure blonde lady could've cared less what my issue was with her rbf.

My mom and my aunt went there for a hair updo and not only the hair looked awful but behavior of the stylists were very bad. They were rude and extremely disrespectful to them, making racial gestures and complaining to the other employees about them, I would never recommend to go here to get there hair done. You will be left very unsatisfied with what you were expecting.

I scheduled an appointment at 1:00. After waiting until 1:50 on my stylist ( who decided to take a color walk in 15 minutes before my appointment) I decided to cancel my appointment. Will not schedule there again.

I went to this salon out of convenience. I asked for my hair to be trimmed and I wanted bangs. I had to partition my bangs my self, I’m not a stylist in any way. So I had two uneven, by length and thickness, bad uneven bangs. And my hair trim? Only the length was cut. It was cut very uneven. I had to pay $40 for someone to completely jack up my hair. I cried and had to walk around JCP to calm down before I left. I went to my normal salon and paid $50 to fix her mistakes and got the trim and bangs I initially wanted. I would tell you the stylists name but she never said. I’d rather get a cut from your mom in her kitchen with her kitchen scissors. I contacted customer service about a month ago for a refund and only get a response of “you need to wait 5-7 business days”. I’ve given my information every time too but just get a run around. Now I’m just getting no response from anyone.

I asked the price for haircut and full color with weave or hilights. They looked on a list and said it would be $65 and up depending on stylist. Three hours later I walked out. The stylist acted like it was the first time she had done it. I showed her a picture of the cut I wanted and other than being SHORT nothing else was similar. I'm not that particular about my hair. It will grow back!! I was quite shocked at the $105 price tag AND worse than that I have 1/2" of gray roots everywhere that was not covered. She did not cover ANY of my gray roots. I will never return to penneys hair salon and I would NOT recommend it to anyone!!
