I went to Jean Philippe’s for the first time and it was a great experience. My stylist was Natalie, she did a fantastic cut and gave me advice on what products I should use. I already made my next appointment.

Jean Philippe has been cutting and styling my hair for 20+ years and he has always done a beautiful job on my hair ❤️🙏🏻He is the only person I will trust cutting my natural curly hair. Love this salon - love my hair stylist. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Jaq has been so fun ti work with, she’s always excited to try new things with my hair, and also recommends solutions for any of my hair problems. Great service, good atmosphere.

Sarah has been doing my hair since 2021, and she does amazing color. She recently referred me to Jac, and I’m very pleased with the cut Jac gave me. The salon is upbeat and has a fun vibe, everyone is friendly and eager to make your time in their salon rememberable and enjoyable!

Christopher transformed me from a kind of plain Jane to this really amazingly shaped long layer haircut. He understood my fine hair and did a dry cut (my first) and I am very happy I trusted Christopher’s recommendations for my face framing. The best thing about Christopher is he is meticulous and skilled. My husband says he loved it! Thanks Christopher! The salon front desk was also friendly and helpful in recommending the right stylist for my hair and calling a day in advance with a helpful appointment reminder.

I got a haircut on Friday and Rose was my stylist and she did an amazing job at cutting my hair! She cut my hair in the front perfectly to frame my face and it helped that she was super sweet and talked me through everything she was doing! Definitely coming back and asking for her again !

I had the most horrible, traumatizing haircut experience with Jean Philippe last week. Jean barely glanced at the example pictures I showed him and proceeded to botch my hair so badly that I genuinely felt afraid to leave my house. When I came back to have him fix my hair, I showed him a picture of an old haircut I’d had and asked him to cut my hair similarly. He was visibly annoyed, pulling my hair so roughly it hurt and letting his hands smack my face. When I asked him to please not make the top layer any shorter, he retorted, “I heard you the first time. You don’t have to repeat yourself.” When he finished, he told me he would not cut my hair again because we had “no connection.” After questioning him further, he replied, “if you like the haircut the other lady gave you so much, maybe you should go back to her” and scurried off to the back room so he wouldn’t have to defend himself against a 21-year-old girl any longer. Not only did he give me the worst haircut of my life, but he also upcharged me $30 with no explanation, making the haircut $200. The front desk refunded me the $30 but said Jean was very upset about the refund, so that’s why he threw a tantrum. I’m embarrassed for him and hope that he will seek therapy soon to evaluate why he has such a fragile ego.

If you have 3 or 4 hair, don’t come here. I should’ve known better. Now I can’t even put my hair in a ponytail because Christopher went insane with my cut after getting extensions from Perle that were incredibly tangly and never blended with my hair. Don’t recommend and won’t be back.

I’ve been going to Jean Philippe Salon for over 4 years now and have always walked away obsessed with my hair! Lua kills it with my haircut every time and Scotty nailed my blonde color; I couldn’t be happier.

I’ve been here several times and am always pleased with haircuts from Heber and color by Scotty. They’re very detail-oriented and make sure their services are done just right. This place is on the expensive side, but worth it.
