It's a small shop but the atmosphere is relaxing and Hanna was excellent! This was my first scalp massage/head bath spa experience and it was divine! As an African American with 4B/C hair, I was concerned about the products used and styling but the products used were fine (although the technician could not tell me what type of products they were) and I brought my own leave in conditioner and hair setting foam for a curly set and the technician gave me short full blow dry so it worked out. I think I might get my scalp massaged here once a month! The facial and back massage were great too!

My friend and I went to deep scalp therapy. Linda and Katie were really amazing. We felt totally pampered by them. It starts with a quick scalp analysis. They give you a warming eye mask then treat and steam your hair. Then they do multiple hair washes. The massages were so amazing and relaxing. It ends with a blow dry and a foot soak. I felt so comfortable the entire time. I would definitely come back and recommend to friends! For the price in the Bay Area, I would say it is worth. Plenty of parking but a little bit of a sketchy area.

First time visiting with my friend. We LOVED our treatment. We got the getaway package that included the scalp therapy and facial. The staff were very friendly and super attentive. It was def worth every penny!

For starters, website was easy to navigate and booking was a breeze. I treated myself to the Deep Scalp treatment while my sister got the signature. The place was clean, staff were all friendly and professional, and everything felt amazing. I’ve never felt my hair feel so soft and healthy. Would definitely recommend and I’ll be back!!!

I came here with my sister as her Christmas gift! We got the Jen Signature and it was a really great and relaxing experience. The only feedback we have is: 1) the towels had the smell that they werent dried enough if that makes sense 2) my sister’s technician didn’t turn off the water halo when switching from head to shoulders and she felt like she was drowning in a little too much water. (my technician turned off the water when switching between head / shoulders) Overall though we both loved the experience and would definitely come back! Thank you Tina and Caliea (sp?) :)

I had an AMAZING experience at this spa. I got the Jen's Signature Treatment and it was 100% worth every penny. The room was clean and the masseuse was very sweet and kind. The massage pressure was perfect and I loved the hot stones. The facial massage felt so good and my skin feels so soft and smooth. The scalp treatment was unreal! I've never felt my hair as soft as it was leaving the spa. My sister got the Deep Scalp Treatment and she is also raving about it. We both had the same experience and would come back!

Absolutely the worst place . If you have long hair do not go there at all. The person absolutely ruined my hair . Tangled it up in knots completely. Their only response was that they were sorry. Eric at the front desk managed to shift the blame on to me saying that I wasn’t letting them fix the problem. Stay away from this place

Don’t go, it’s not a spa place you are looking for. Massage is not massage in every aspect, it’s a salon where they wash your hair and tell you that your scalp is dry and tell you it’s still dry after the service but they clean the oily part… we spent ~$200 per person and received very very light massages on our shoulder, neck barely, head a little, and touching your face the whole time when they call it a facial massage. It’s a scam where we spent $400 to get our hair washed basically and getting my scalp scratching for like 10 mins. Scratching is not massage… on top of that, they didn’t tell us what products they used on us. The facial is only wash your face and put up a mask for you. It’s the worst experience we ever had in our entire life seriously. Don’t go.

I went there late in the evening and I was not sure if I had ended in a wrong place. Once they started their facial and massage I was sure I had discovered a truly amazing place. We have to encourage such small businesses as they don’t have the a shop front on a main street and lack direct visibility. Will return back again

Just had my first experience here and as a 2-3/month regular to full body massage I must say this was quite different but amazingly relaxing. Linda was absolutely fantastic, she had the perfect balance of pressure and touch. I will definitely be back to see her again and explore some of the other services they offer.

Not completely sure if I can actually rate this place yet as I had to end my session of scalp and facial when it was only 3/4th done as I badly had to use the restroom and they had to end the session if I was to get up and go :/ The 3/4th session was very good, the place is clean and the staff warm and friendly. Will rate again when I can get a full treatment :)

The experience was nothing short of magical. Me and my wife had the 90 minutes of 'signature' massage, and it was fantastic. So relaxing, so calming. The back, the shoulders, the neck are like new now. I've never experienced anything like this on my face - it was massaged with different oils, it was washed, massaged again, washed again, I had a warm mask on my eyes, while my head and face were treated royally, then my had was washed the way I had no idea is even possible. Amazing experience, very much recommended Tina and Cathy were fantastic! (hope I spelled the names correctly)

This was my first time at a facial spa. Hannah did a great job. It was so relaxing that the time flew by. I recommend this place for anyone wanting some TLC.

This was our first time with Jen Head Spa. This place has potential however not sure i'll revisit. I took my best friend for a relaxing girls day and opted for the highest treatment the Jen signature. Although our techs were kind they didn't speak very much english so none of our treatments were explained. WE didn't know what they were doing or what products were being used. They chatted to each other most of the time which was bothersome. My tech had bracelets on that were clanking in my ear the entire time as well. Massage was painful, when I asked for it softer was told I needed to get the knots out. I'm very sore today. Head treatment was ok. Product smelled nice and left my head feeling clean. No head massage, my tech only did a scratching of my scalp, again not relaxing after ten min of scratching. My friend said she received a nice rub, no scratching. Facial may of been the best part, although each product and procedure was not explained so we both were left wondering what they did. We asked front desk when checking out and he didn't know and simple said the products on the wall were used. Once we were done we were asked to sit in a chair and given a nice warm water soak for our feet. But then they whipped out the blowdryer!! Ive never blowdried with my feet in water seemed a bit different. The blow dry is exactly what it says, a basic blow dry. It's more of a partial blow dry. We left with messy half blowdried hair. All and all it wasn't as relaxing as I hoped, nor did it reach a partial expectation for the high price service. There are a couple pros: The place was clean and the staff was nice. I think if they work on some of the issues it can be a better experience.

This was a fantastic experience! They start off with a quick scalp view of you scalp with a hand held camera to assess what which treatments or oils to use with your treatment. Your scalp treatment comes with either a facial or a neck and shoulder massage. DH and I chose the massage. Since we booked our appts at the same time we were in same room. The whole process was so relaxing. I really enjoyed the mask and the steam in my hair while they did a neck/shoulder massage that also include arms and hands. After the massage they rinse off your shoulders and neck area with their U-shaped faucet that felt so nice! We went on a Sunday and the whole experience had me in such a good mood, it lasted all day as well into the next! Kalea and Mimi were wonderful! We will be back! Thank you!!!!

Went for their signature package. The head spa was good but they have an option for blow dry. If you have curly hair, don’t opt for it because they are not very proficient in the same.I mentioned I had curly hair twice but no one heard it I guess and while blow drying my hair they didn’t use the diffuser initially but used the full hair dry equipment instead and I came out with hair like a lion’s mane.

One of the best things I’ve done. I did the scalp treatment with neck and head massage. My hair felt so light and soft after and I was so relaxed. They told me my scalp didn’t require maintenance cleaning, but honestly the whole thing was so amazing I want To go every 3 months.

Absolutely worth it; the experience was amazing and relaxing! I got the Jen Signature and my technician, Tina, was great. I'll definitely be booking another appointment for next month. My hair is so soft and feels healthy, and my face feels so smooth!

I came here for the first time today for deep scalp therapy. I've never had it done before and was really curious. I have curly hair and Katy was the name of the lady who performed my deep scalp treatment. She knew exactly what she was doing it honestly surprised me because I know my hair is not the easiest to handle. And the experience was like the best part of someone else washing your hair x 20. It was so relaxing. I can't wait to come back. Also note that hair styling is not a service they provide. They just blowdry and go. Which is no problem for me. Just make sure you plan ahead.

So - to the 1 star review response from the business owner - such an unfortunate response to the review. I was there and witnessed everything - There were only 2 interactions she had with any member of the staff 1) asked her what services she booked 2) if she would like warm water or cold water The service these guys provide is good, I know this because I am a repeat customer. But at no point was anyone being rude to any one and at no point this person interact beyond these 2 questions. There were 2 individuals who booked a 10:15am appointment, who were waiting until 10:45am to be looked at in which the examination was done in the lobby at 10:50am. The only person asking to be served were these 2 individuals and they were 100% in the right. I want to emphasize the services here are good - I think today the business seemed to be having barriers. The hostess went in and out of the door to the back at least 8 times within the 40 minutes I was waiting in the lobby (yes they were not ready for my appointment either), and yes the music was cutting in and out and yes there were lots of people in the lobby. But at no point in the past, have I ever been offered to soak my feet. Nor was anyone else in the lobby asked to soak their feet at this time, including the 2 individuals who had a 10:15am appointment. Again, just an unfortunate response from the business to blame a customer who probably would have spent several $100 dollars. I will not be coming back to this establishment simply based on the false accusations you made on your reply. _______________________________________________________________ I 100% support you contacting my employer, and yes please post the footage - would love to see where I am wrong.
