Lisa Bair is THE master of women's shorter hairstyles in Reno and, quite frankly, beyond. It's her specialty and it shows. I have normally resorted to going to barbers because stylists don't know how to really make a shorter style on a woman look good and/or they're intimidated by it. I love that women's short hairstyles are Lisa's niche, gift and passion. So happy I found her in Reno of all places. Plus, she's a very cool woman with warm energy. ♥️

I booked a 5:15 appointment online, then the stylist texted me and ask if I could come at a different time because "don't work that late". Why have that time slot available then?Negative first impression

I have been going to Brian for many years and have never missed an appointment or been late. Last week, I had an appointment with Brian and misread the email which stated my appointment was at 2:00. I believed it to be 3:00 and when I arrived I was told I was too late which is understandable. However, Brian proceeded to charge me $92.50 even after I apologized over and over for a simple human error! I then proceeded to make an appointment the following day with a different stylist who charged me $220.00 for a sub par cut and color!! All in all, I paid $352.00. I reached out to Brian several times regarding the situation. He finally responded and notified me he was on vacation. Apparently, it’s pretty profitable to charge an exuberant amount of money for absolutely nothing!!! As the owner of the business you would think Brian would have a little more compassion and understand when people make honest mistakes!! I was an extremely good customer, however, I will never go back to this salon! Save your money and go somewhere else! This salon thinks way too highly of themselves!!! Definitely not worth your time!!!

Pretty bad haircut experience with Jason. Didn't listen to what I wanted and kept pushing other things - ultimately did what he wanted and it didn't yield a good result unfortunately. Wouldn't go back to him. (not to mention that he charged 5 extra than his online booking tool stated)

I had a great experience and received an amazing haircut. I went in for a new hairstyle which included a fresh cut and color. My stylist was Micaela Meli and she was wonderful! Communication was on point and Micaela took the time to go over what I was looking for down to all the details including shades of blonde, type of cut, referencing hair pictures, etc. Everyone in the salon was nice and friendly as well! I highly recommend Micaela Meli and Jenson & Co Salon!

I had gone to Micaela Meli hoping for a haircut and color (reference attached). During the appointment she asked me to confirm the color on a color swatch so I again showed the reference and she suggested a certain copper color which she said she thought would work well. I rarely color my hair now, so I went with it again saying that I like the color that was in the reference and I was on board if that's what she thought was best. The color turned out drastically different than I was hoping for, I contacted her the next day and she offered to fix it. I washed my hair once after this, and it was obvious that my hair had been overprocessed by the bleaching - my scalp is itchy, my hair is breaking off and falling out, and its is impossible to shampoo because it sticks together in a giant, un-brushable knot. When it's wet it is also kind of stretchy at the root and takes several hours to air dry on its own. I told the stylist this with some extra details and she did offer a follow-up appointment and a free Olaplex treatment which was nice, but alluded to the fact that there is no way my hair was overprocessed despite the facts. I asked for a partial refund, expecting to cover some costs, but was told its against salon policy and the manager, Brian Jenson, said no. I thought that between my hair being so damaged, having to go out and buy multiple masks and treatments for it to help counteract the damage that was caused at this salon, and getting a color that was extremely different than what I asked for would warrant a refund. tl;dr Got a very different color than what was requested & refused a refund. Go elsewhere. Edit: I went to another salon ~4 weeks after this appointment and they said the hair was very compromised and the cut was uneven and choppy. Do yourself a favor and just go someplace else. Edit to reply: I didn't want to be confrontational so I left without much commentary - contacted the artist the following morning. I was NEVER told it would take multiple dyes to get to that color. I was told to come in every 1-2 months for upkeep. I refused the follow-up treatments because my hair was so compromised by the artist that I was uncomfortable seeing her again (or anyone in the salon that supported that work). Again would recommend that you go elsewhere - the owner seems confrontational and sarcastic in the reply. I know I won't be getting my money back at this point - I'm posting this because its very clear that the artist either doesn't know what she is doing and/or doesn't care AND the owner blindly supports this type of work. BEWARE

I have seen Sami for about 3 years now. She is always in a great mood, makes me feel welcomed as well as beautiful when leaving. I will continue to recommend Sami to all my friends!

I just want to say that Sami, with jensen and Co is absolutely amazingly wonderful. She did an amazing job with my hair taking it from dull and drab to absolutely stunning. She now the only person that I will let do my hair.

Loved the casual atmosphere in the salon and the professional service. Went in for a restyle not knowing exactly what I wanted but Brian asked questions about my lifestyle and gave me a haircut to suit me. I love it. And whatever products they use smell divine!!
