Do not get any extensions here. I got microlinks installed after coming to originally get a sew in and now 80% of my real hair is gone!!!! My hair was very thick and now it’s extremely thin and stingy. All of my hair broke off after they removed the microlinks and they were not installed correctly and I paid almost 300. My bundles were also stolen when I first got the hair installed… I brought 3 bundles and they only used one and kept the other 2.

Long story short, the other reviews about heat damage, sulfuric smell in the conditioner, and poor customer service is true. My actual blowout did not last long and did not have a pleasant smell even after washing my hair again. When I went in to speak with management, I was greeted happily but her tone quickly changed when she realized I was not there for an appointment. Owner was not open to listen or rectify the problem and claims that heat damage is just something that happens (even saying it happen to her young daughter who in the salon for some reason). She suggested that I just cut off the straight ends and start over. I can not recommend this salon and I am disappointed that the previous salon that was here has moved.

I came to the shop at 4 the sign says it closes at 6 . I let the owner know I would like a blowout she said ok. She very rudely told me to go to the back . Once I got to the back she washed my hair. I told her my hair was damaged and wanted a roller set the owner told my stylist no it was too late. The sign says they close at 6. This was my first time and honestly I thought it was the old VIP or I would have never went. She charged me 20$ for the wash . It clearly isn’t about hair and the fact that I let her know my hair was damaged she didn’t care and still wouldn’t do a roller set. I left feeling embarrassed and went to VIP who closes the same time and they took me. The owner needs to be humble or her business want grow. She should be happy people think it is the old VIP spot and embrace her new customers even if they are confused about new owners.

I visited about 2-3 weeks ago for a blowout I’ve been getting blow outs and stuff for a while now. I’ve visited here plenty of times prior to new ownership and name when they was (vip) as well as the Harrisburg location. This was my second visit at the location since the changes. After I left I had a funny smell chemical to my hair didn’t think much of it, however yesterday I finally washed my hair for my new style and I smelled the smell very strongly and still do despite how many times I’ve washed it, I’ve been natural 13 years and never had any issues especially like the one I have now. After washing my hair and conditioning it I still smell the chemical smell, to add salt to injury whatever they used on my hair this past visit strip all my curl pattern out of my head to the fact my hair is bone straight and I’ve never had bone straight hair after washing it. My hair is straight as if I just got a relaxer or something. I’m highly upset and disappointed and I’m unsure of that to do with this. Bc they used something in my hair that should not had been used and caused a bigger issue

I gave this 4stars because I felt it was a lil too pricy for a wash/set/blowout. Close to $80 not one curl was added to my hair or Bobby pin. Besides that the service was good my hair came out beautiful. This will be my new spot I will always be bringing my

I came to this place for the first time a week ago. I had to wait 40 minutes before they call me to be washed, that wasn't a problem because i was a walk in. I asked for a wash, deep conditioner and roller set. I got the blow out instead because it was close to them closing and they didn't want to do roller set. Big mistake I have HEAT DAMAGE to my hair and a BAD SMELL that I can't get rid of when my hair sweat or get wet the smell is worst. I couldn't take it no more after a week so I got my hair washed and the smell is still in my hair. I called the shop and ask for the owner I talk to 2 different ladies explaining my issue they were no help not apologetic or anything. 30 min later I get a call from someone else saying she was the owner and it's my fault I shouldn't have gotten the blow out but couldn't say why my head smell like eggs it's horrible smh. If your a natural hair women that love your curls don't do it they will burn your hair and not care.

Great service! I got there at 840 AM and was the 3rd person to get service. I received a deep conditioner and was out by 1040 AM ! Not only are they fast they are caring. Jenny saw my hair was damaged and took the time to adjust her flat iron to lower heat and recommended a protein treatment for my next visit ! I am very pleased with the service. See you next time !

I've been coming to Jeny for YEARS. And I'll continue to do so. When it comes to blow outs and giving my hair a magic touch,I would not trust anyone else with my hair care. Over the years she's helped me grow back my healthy, thick and beautiful hair and she slays every time! And dont worry if she's booked. Ive also had other stylists here get me right and they are all great! 11/10 recommend!!!! 🩷🩷🩷 10 stars✨

The manager/owner is RUDE AS HELL!. A teen With disabilities went into her business and attempted to use the restaurant instead of trying to communicate or realizing that this teen had disabilities. She instead called the cops on him. Then proceeded to go into insomnia cookies and embarrass the hell out of the teen's mother in front of a lobby full of people. Even after the mother told her over and over that the child had a disability, she continued to berate the mother. IF YOU HAVE KIDS WITH DISABILITIES DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! DO NOT SUPPORT SOMEONE WHO OBVIOUSLY HAS BIASES AGAINST PEPLE WITH DISABILITIES!

This place burned my hair. I’ve never got a blow out where my hair is completely straight in some parts after washing it and it has a smell of eggs after shampooing it countless times. I’m pretty sure they put something in my hair. I spent 85$ just to have heat damage!!

Very good wash and blow dry but overpriced… IN MY OPINION. I would have went regularly if they are priced more reasonable. I cannot pay $80 a week on a wash and blow dry. I have thin, shoulder length hair.
