The stylist kept chatting with other staff before and during my haircut, showing little focus on the task. The result? My hair was completely ruined. I only wanted a simple men’s haircut, but here’s what I ended up with: The right side was supposed to be straight from the ear to the top, but it wasn’t even symmetrical to the left side. She cut off my hair curtain on the right side entirely—and she knew it. To cover up the mistake, she left a much longer section of hair nearby, hoping to disguise the issue. She styled it with wax right afterward, making it seem fine. However, once I got home and washed off the wax, the mess became clear.

미용실 내부는 깔끔하게 잘 정돈이 되어 있었고, 직원들의 고객응대는 친절하였습니다. 성인 헤어커트를 이용하였으며, 만족스러웠습니다. 고객의 평가는 각기 다른부분에 의해서 차이가 날수 있다고 생각합니다. 저는 가격적인 측면에서 좀 아쉬웠습니다.

Good hair salon to visit if the Korean standard of beauty is to your liking. They definitely know how to handle Asian hair which is generally straighter and thicker.

I'm quite disappointed with my haircut, as a tourist who gonna take many pictures in California and my hairs going to look a little weird entire time. I told them that my hair is very thick and sticks out very easily, but they did not consider my word, and as a result, my hair on top doesn't look naturally connected with my side. Some good things about this salon, the barber was kind and nice. Also, she was fine with cutting my hair like the picture that I provided (she just not considered my word about characteristics of my hair). Haircut is fairly cheap ($35 for men's haircut) compared to other salons in California. So give it a try if you want. I might just be a one unlucky guy at the wrong place at the wrong time, or it might be a barber's skill issue with Asian male hair. Just warning you, let them understand your word before they start.

Absolutely love it! After trying numerous salons, including a $130 Japanese salon in NYC and Korean salons, all unsuccessful. I impulsively visited here because I was driving nearby. I found the perfect hairstylist (forgot your name, sorry). She, the lady hairdresser who has a newlywed son, quickly assessed my hair, head shape, and natural curl, delivering my desired medium-layered haircut in just 15-20 minutes. Exactly what I wanted! Definately will return !!!!!

AMATEUR HAIRCUTTERS - I made an appointment based on the 4.5 star rating, but ended up being very disappointed with the haircut. 1) Charlie didn't even stop to ask what kind of haircut I wanted. 2) I watched him the entire time, and there was no consistency or symmetry to his haircutting. My bangs ended up uneven, which he could not fix. Most stylists pull and measure both sides of your hair to ensure they are symmetrical, but he just kept cutting blindly! 3) Not a stylish cut at all. Overall, I think it's very important to talk and communicate with what your clients are expecting. Do not go here!

Charlie Ruined my hair. I brought a bunch of photos and showed him, and he completely ignored what i wanted. Its $35 as well… just to get your hair ruined. Avoid at all costs. Gave them $100 bill and they only gave $60 back as well. Didn’t want to argue so just left it as a “tip”.

Jessica was so talented, friendly, and listened to my need. She knew how to treat even the toughest Asian hair. My hair is always tough to tame and I was concerned during my first visit as she did dry haircut instead of wet haircut. It turned out to be great looking (Korean style), easy to maintain and very natural. Referred to my friend who said the male hairstylist was also really good.

My wife and (now adult) children as well as many of our friends (at least three other families) have been coming to Charlie for about 20 years. He used to work at his own salon then at another salon on Convoy but has recently moved to this salon, renting a space. Charlie is just fantastic. He was apparently a well known hairstylist in South Korea before coming to the US. I hardly know the other hairstylists (~ 5 in all) and I believe all five are Asians, and the clientele is predominantly Asians as well. I recommend (other than his not very good English) Charlie for your hairstyling needs without reservations, especially if you have straight hair. He is accommodating, easy to schedule, and his charges are very reasonable. The salon is clean and welcoming.

Recommend this place. I made an appointment in advance and I just went there for fixing my bangs and trimming for 1 inch. They gave me a nice Asian female haircut and also washed my hair. In my case, female haircut is $45. I am satisfied with their service and I will come back if I need a haircut again.
