Walked in to get a haircut, walked back out due to every single barber coughing. How inconsiderate of them to put their clients at risk, especially children.

I come to this place a lot and it's generally fine, and I always leave big tips, but today I came with my son, they first made us wait an hour then told us near the end that I needed to sign a sheet when I entered (which they never do otherwise). Then they told me we will have to wait till all others have been served. This is horrible service to a regular and I'll think where to go next time

This is the worst barbershop in America canyon history they charge you outrageous prices for a bad haircut. I went in and I ask the guy for a 2 all around with a high taper I ask if he understand he said “Yes” we established the price $30 for a 2 all around with a high taper he get done with my hair and I’m asking if he can fix the corners of my hairline if he can blend a little bit more I’m just telling him the stuff he can fix on my haircut he did a little bit better on it but not a big difference on it. After he get done he tell me the price and he said that it was going to be $65

I had an excellent experience. I went in for a low skin fade, and Tran did an incredible job. The precision and quality of her work exceeded many other places I’ve been to that charge $40 or more—and this haircut was only $20! Tran’s fade was clean, sharp, and flawless. On top of her skill, she was very personable and kept up a great conversation throughout the haircut, making the experience even better. Booking was easy, I called 30 minutes in advance and got a spot right away. If you’re looking for a high-quality haircut at an unbeatable price, I highly recommend J&J Barber&Shop, especially Tran. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I walked in for a regular haircut, and I thought it was great for its value! I got my haircut from Kim, and she was a bit blunt (told me my suggested haircut was a bad idea), but I liked the end result so I’m happy!

Extremely rude staff! My daughter had an horrible experience there and came home crying. The staff kept yelling at her the whole time telling her that the hair style she was requesting is bad and will never lookk good on her. She kept saying that she (my daughter) already looks bad with her current haircut and will look even worse afterwards. In spite of my daughter asking her for alternate suggestions, the stylist just kept yelling and not listening at all. Will never go there again.

Affordable at $20 for a men's haircut and they did a wonderful job. Much better than previous hair cuts I've gotten for a similar price and the place is very nice and neat looking.

Came here after being in the field for a few weeks for the military and my hair needed a cut before going back home. I first went to Supercuts since I don’t know the area. The botched my hair. Came here after and they fixed up my terrible fade. I was so happy with the results I wanted to tip over 100% of the price and she wouldn’t accept it, saying it was too much. She finally let me give it to her Very good at there job, honest, hard working women. Anytime I’m in the area, I’ll be here

DO NOT GO HERE! I saw this place so I went here two months ago, the lady Kim cut my hair the way she wanted to not what I asked for. Second time, I gave them a chance and she unexpectedly shaved a part of my head to style my hair and I never asked for that and I wasn’t happy but left there and decided to give them a third chance. I went there and asked for another lady and I specifically told her not to cut the top just a low skin fade but what does she do without my knowledge, she cut the area which wasn’t supposed to be cut. Idk if it’s English barrier or they just feel that they can do whatever to make you happy but I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE AGAIN!

My go-to place to get a good haircut. The price is reasonable at $20-$25 cash. The service is fast — you can drop in our make an appointment. Jennifer is usually in charge. She might seem intimidating but she’s a good person. Helen is my go-to person, she’s great!

Saw the good reviews for here and took my kids for a haircut. It was quite full, we had a 30 min wait. No signups, they just remember your place in line. Fine, no problem. Went out for a bit, came back and I was told we would be next available. Great, let's get this done. Sign posted said $15 for kids' haircuts. As a chair opened up, we were called. For both of my boys, I told them exactly how I wanted it done. They understood and started haircuts. When both of them finished, I was told it would be extra for each kid. Whaat? Why? I asked. Because it's not a normal haircut and it's extra. What's not a normal haircut? Because I had asked for a 0 (zero) on the edges and sides with high fade. And a trim off the top. They had spent 10 mins on each kid and doing a fade from 0 is considered extra work. Never in my life have I heard this. Nor did they tell me this up front. Nor did they advertise it as such anywhere in their shop. They just make up a price because they feel they had to work too hard for a 10 min haircut. In fact the 2 hair cutters and another lady (maybe manager) are yelling at me from across the room full of customers and telling me that's how it is and won't even bother talking it out. How were the haircuts? Just go to sport clips or Supercuts instead. Depending on if the barbers mood is good or not, it’s nothing that great. And if there’s an issue… forget it. The chair is already full before you even have time to review and point something out. Then it’s yelling and blame game of “you should’ve clarified that sooner…” Never going back here for this scam again. If you still want to go because of all the great reviews, be sure to negotiate and settle on a price beforehand. Because the posted prices are apparently meaningless

I have been going there for about a year and everytime - experience getting worse. I will never visit this shop again because of following reasons. a) Very rude staff members- Cannot say for all but most of the members are very rude. They are poor listeners and yellers. Let me tell one instance - I have baldness at my head. So I always request before haircut that please don't shorten hair from that bald point but from all other places, hair should be shortened. Staff members wonot listen properly. Either they will not shorten from full head or they will ignore my request and expose bald point. During my last visit, staff member literally scolded me by pointing fingers towards me when I requested to shorten hair from other places. It was so embarrassing sitting in chair and being scolded for a fault of her mis-understanding. b) Poor listeners and putting words in your mouth They donot listen and try to put words in your mouth. Then when you try to justify, they will interrupt and shut you down. It is humiliating experience. For instance - in my last visit, when I mentioned that I wanted hair to be shortened except bald point, she yelled and said that I had instructed her to use point#3 and should have suggested point#2. I had no idea what the hell was point #3. I never said anything about points. When I tried to explain, she interrupted and said "relax relax" . c) Poor time management Even with appointments, they make you wait for 30 mins. I objected and then their manager said that you came 10 mins late. That was complete lie, I had reached one minute late and that too because I had to get money withdrawn from ATM as they accept only cash. She started arguing telling that she had watch :). I withdrew from argument as it was becoming my word vs her word. d) Full cash payment They donot accept cards and only accept cash which is a big inconvenience for customers. I have to rush to get money withdrawn. In short, Most of them are yellers, poor listeners, donot understand customer's requirements, interrupt and point fingers. Horrible experience!! I got humiliated in front of my son and I will never visit this place again.
