Hiring Jamie to handle hair & makeup on my wedding day was a no-brainer. Jamie listened and looked at all the inspiration photos I had saved for how I wanted my hair & makeup to look that day and she overdelivered! Leaving my hair and makeup trial, I had never felt more beautiful and was so excited to have her be there for the biggest day of my life. Jamie was on time and made sure that we all felt comfortable. She even asked each girl how they typically wear their makeup, ensuring that everyone felt beautiful in their own skin, and boy did she deliver. One of my bridesmaids has hair that we joke is impossible to curl – her hair had perfect beach waves from 10am until long after the night ended.

When I moved to Florida 5 years ago my biggest issue was finding the right hairdresser. I was recommended to Jaimie and I've been going to her ever since. She is wonderful ❤️ I leave her salon feeling beautiful every time. She recently did some fun colors with my two daughters and I can tell you she knows her color. My color lasts a long time and I get compliments everywhere I go. If your looking for a great hairdresser, wedding, makeup etc. This is the place to go.Thanks Jamie

I had a destination wedding on Sanibel/Captiva on August 20, 2022. Since I live in Ohio, it was extremely important to me when researching for hair and makeup that I relied heavily on reviews of others experiences, as I would not be able to get down for a trial. The reviews held a high bar and the ladies at JLC did not disappoint! We had an early morning beach ceremony with a reception in the evening. Everyone's hair and makeup upheld through the sun, sweat, and tears...literally. We all still looked fabulous at the reception. A huge thank you to Damari, Jennifer, and Jen for the excellent work on our hair and makeup.

JLC is a high quality and experienced provider of makeup and hair for weddings! I used them recently for my Sanibel beach wedding and I was highly satisfied. Cindy styled myself and 4 other ladies in my wedding party with hair and makeup. She was so nice and also very talented with both hair and makeup. She created a gorgeous braid for me and my hair has never looked so good with the curls that she did. The makeup was flawless. She also worked with me initially with a couple ideas during my trial. She also was able to take all of our ideas and inspiration photos and turn us into real life beauties! Highly recommend working with JLC for your wedding or other event!

Jamie and her team are amazing! I was so beyond happy with my hair and makeup for my wedding. The airbrush makeup was light weight and looked flawless. It literally lasted all day and all night. Everyone who had their hair and makeup done for my wedding was so happy. Jamie is also very professional and timely. She does not disappoint! We also had Jamie’s husband cater the food (JLC Bubbles & Brunch) for while we were getting ready and it was delicious. He setup a beautiful grazing board with a bunch of different meats, cheeses, fruits, crackers, and other breakfast items . Not only was the food delicious but it was super convenient to just snack throughout the day. The mimosas were also a great touch. Jamie and her husband are the best! Highly recommend!

They did on-site hair and makeup for our wedding! Damari was so amazing! I also had 2 trial runs with her trying to figure out what kind of look I wanted. It’s been 3 years and I am still in love with the experience I had!

Jamie and her crew were fantastic from start to finish. I had an amazing trial run with Damari, she is so talented! The day of the wedding her and an assistant styled myself, 5 bridesmaids, my mother, my mother in law, personal attendant, and one flower girl. Everyone looked incredible and the timing was perfect. Everyone kept saying I looked like a movie star, and I truly felt that way... they listened to our vision and what we wanted and used their superb talent to execute. The team at JLC was a dream to work with for our wedding! They did hair and full-makeup for myself, 5 bridesmaids and my mom. Every single girl looked absolutely fantastic and they did it in record time to get done by ceremony time. My grandmother claims it was the most beautiful my sister-in-law has ever looked, including her own wedding day! They were professional and so much fun to work with, Damari made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt in my entire life and really calmed my nerves about the whole day. All of our makeup lasted through the late May heat all evening, I didn't want to take it off! We had to postpone our wedding day by a year due to covid and Jamie was extremely understanding about the whole situation and so kind about moving the date. I would highly recommend them to any brides getting married!

After my larger wedding turned into a smaller elopement style wedding I had to reschedule a lot of vendors... I reached out to JLC, after reading reviews and following her on instagram, to book hair appointments for myself, MOH and the two moms. She was able to fit us all in and everyone's hair turned out amazing - they nailed what we all asked for - natural beach hairstyles, both up-do's and in a low pony for myself. My MOH and myself got airbrush make up as well and it turned out BEAUTIFUL. We felt amazing, our stylist truly listened to us and made us look natural but done up at the same time. I cannot thank Jamie and her team enough for fitting us in and then making us beautiful :) Would recommend over and over - THANK YOU!!

I have been going to Jamie to have my hair done for 5 years & what I like is she listens to what you want & offers suggestions but is willing to do what you want with no problem. I just love her. She is so accommodating & professional. I also had my first ever facial with Samantha & it was the greatest feeling. I can’t wait to go back. Thanks girls for top notch services.

I was supposed to get married on a beach in Florida this past weekend (we are from out of state). However, I had to cancel my wedding plans due to everything going on. I was thinking about it and -- this is the ONLY company I worked with that didn't offer a refund for my deposit. Everyone has been SO wonderful through this entire thing. I totally understand I signed a contract and it is only $100, but the more I think about it, the more disappointed become. I didn't choose to cancel; we literally couldn't have our wedding on the beach as the beaches are closed as well as the hotel everyone was going to stay in. If you are looking for a small business to support right now, choose someone else that has a bit more sympathy.

It is with a heavy heart that I write this review. I am always one to error on the side of optimism. While I will admit that she is a talented makeup artist, my experience with Jamie was unprofessional to say the very least. I am one of the many brides who found herself in a very difficult situation in the weeks leading up to the wedding due to the pandemic. Jamie was incredibly difficult to work with, unresponsive and tried to financially take advantage of a deposit that had been previously paid by neglected to follow her own contract. After raising the issue with her in the most respectful way that I could, she called my wedding coordinator telling my coordinator that I was ungrateful for her services. This all took place a week before the wedding and communication in the months leading up to the wedding was incredibly challenging. When she arrived on the day of my wedding she came in with such an attitude that we struggled to even hold a minimum conversation. She rushed through hair and all of her work did not in the slightest reflect the pictures of what I requested. Like previously stated her makeup work was well done but when she left I found myself in tears because I hated my hair. My wedding coordinator and photographer stepped in, completely undid my hair brushed it out and did it themselves. It looked so much better that there really isn't a comparison. I was incredibly frustrated and disheartened by the situation. I do not appreciate the way myself, my family or my wedding coordinator were treated by her. I do not believe she earned the amount that we paid her but I am true to my word and I signed a contract. I cannot personally recommend her services because I myself wish that I could go back and choose someone else to not encounter what I went through leading up to and on my wedding day.

JLC salon was rated top in the area when we got married in 2016. They did not disappoint!!! I was blown away at how amazing Jamie was not only with my hair, but makeup as well. Though I had a different hairdresser at the time, I realized she was exactly who I needed not only for special occasions, but as my new stylist still to this day! All of the staff at JLC are amazing, but Jamie will forever be my go to! Look no further, trust me!!

Jamie is incredible. She is the only person I will let touch my hair. She is prompt, professional, candid (when I have silly ideas like: let's get bangs!). She always makes me look and feel my best. If she has room on her calendar for you, snatch that time slot up quick. She really is the BEST!

$350 for hair and makeup for JUST ME at their salon on my wedding day last year. My hair was great. However, I spent extra for the airbrush make up since it was supposed to hold up so much better and my wedding was outside. Even though it was in February and the high was around 76F, I was still worried about sweating or it running. Anyways, spent the extra money for the airbrush... the lady did not match my skin tone very well, at all. I looked like I had a spray tan on just my face. Before I even left the salon to go to the wedding, the makeup was already smudging. The womans solution was to just cake more on. I was so sad to see how obvious the color difference was once our pictures came in. Some pictures it is obvious how thick and cakey the foundation was. Not to mention, approx 9 hours after the application, the lashes started peeling off..... not even a whole day. After we left the wedding, my husband ran into a drug store to get wipes to wipe the caked on, smeared, fake tan looking gunk off of my face. This whole experience was, fortunately, the ONLY bad part of our wedding and the rest went wonderfully. I ONLY spent $350 on my hair and makeup because I really wanted to feel beautiful on my wedding day, but I ended up feeling more like a clown with runny makeup. Oh, and since it was such a beautiful day outside, I didnt end up sweating at all. So I know it wasnt sweat that ruined the makeup....

As a destination bride, I was nervous to find the right salon! I found JLC salon by chance and I am SO glad I did!! Jamie and her staff are so professional and actually listen to what you want. My daughters felt beautiful and I couldn't have been happier!! HIGHLY recommend!!

I wouldn't recommend Jamie Lyn Cintron or any of her employees. She and her associate were 2 hours late for our event and when they did get there they blamed being late on their person in the office didn't relay the correct time, everything was confirmed by email. They did not do hair or makeup like was prearranged except the bride. By the time the event started everyone's hair was falling down and makeup wearing off, and eyelashes falling off. Jamie and her associate for some reason had a terrible attitude when they got there. They were paid a lot of money to do hair and make up but it was awful

Jamie is fabulous at what she does!! I do not enjoy getting my hair or makeup done but this was a breeze. For the trial everything was done in an hour! I was shocked by how simple the process was! I simply showed her a photo of what I wanted and she gave me exactly that but it actually looked better! She does amazing work and I am honored she was able to be there on my special day.

Lovely experience; after discussing my current color and haircut, she took the time to ask and offer possible suggestions. I really enjoyed my visit, was SO happy with her caring service, obvious talents and experience that I was able to relax and let her do her magic! I'm scheduling another appointment this week and will try to remember to take photos this time ... Give JLC Salon a try, I'm quite confident you'll feel very happy and very BEAUTIFUL when you leave!

I can’t recommend Jamie Lyn Cintron enough. Our stylist Damari did an outstanding job! Both moms and my two bridesmaids hair looked amazing. They were all super happy with it. My hair and make up looked stunning! I couldn’t have been happier with the result!! Damari has an excellent eye for hair styles as well as make up looks. Also the airbrush make up is a dream come true. It withstand heat, wind, sweat lol!!! Amazing!!! Thank you Damari for making all of us look beautiful!!!!
