The salon is such a nice place; very clean, welcoming, and quiet to hang out away from a ton of traffic but with easy access from St. Rose. I arrived and was quickly welcomed by Natalie who offered me coffee and made sure I was comfortable while I waited. Michael was simply amazing. He's so talented! He listened intently to what I was describing for my asymmetrical short haircut, examined the way my previous stylist had cut it last time, and then went to work and he NAILED IT. The cut is perfect, styled perfectly, everything! I was also very happy to find this salon where the clientele I saw were all different ages, hairstyles, etc and everyone was happy to be there. If you're looking for a stylist, I definitely recommend checking this place out, and reading the stylists' bios on their website: I'm sure you'll find someone you like!

Came in for half highlights of a warm tone. I left with grey/platinum highlights that weren't blended at all and far too close to my roots. And only on the top of my head... my stylist was apparently a "master stylist" but it genuinely looks like she gave me grey streaks on the top of my head with a at-home box dye kit... I paid $200 for this service and when I requested a partial refund- i was ignored and pushed into trying to seeing the stylist again as they claimed they do not do any refunds.

Don’t walk, RUN to this place and book Maria! Very personable and super detail oriented. She did my hair and she absolutely killed it! She took it from dull and dry to bright and beautiful 😍 - fixed my color, my highlights, and my cut! I was seeing another stylist for my hair and it was starting to get dry. We talked about it and then walked me through what I could do at home, as well as with her, to make it healthy again. She always does such an amazing job and I know my hair is always in good hands with her.

Horribly disgusting and unprofessional service especially from Mackenzie. If you for some reason decide to go to this disgrace of a “hair salon” pray they don’t try putting you with her ! She will ruin your hair and leave patchy spots if you’re getting it colored. My whole head was supposed to be the brown on the bottom and she left it orange on top! Would put zero stars if I had the chance.

I tried reaching out to one of their hairstylists listed on their website to make an appointment. A week later she’s never even replied! How unprofessional to NOT have an updated list of professionals on their website working/contracting for them. I will NEVER use this hair salon. If this is the way they manage their website, how do they manage their salon? I’m not going to find out!

I went in to this atrocious place for a very simple haircut and Mackenzie managed to even mess that up. She left my bangs completely uneven and choppy. NEVER GO TO HER OR THIS PLACE. They don’t care about customer satisfaction, her and the owner of this place are flat out money hungry. They need to pay more attention since they are dealing with people’s self image. Terrible experience and extremely high prices, I regret coming here. I have no clue how they are still in business and how Mackenzie is allowed to touch people hair. I’ve heard worse experiences people have had with her.

If you want to go blonde, go to Meghan. She's amazing. I love her and if I'm back in the area I'm calling her. She was more excited than I was for my color change. Get her if you want to go blonde. She did a fantastic job. I would book a trip just to the area to go see her. Absolutely fantastic. Salon is well run with a super cool owner who is there doing her own work. Highly recommend.

My absolute favorite salon. The front desk crew is super nice, my stylists are always on point with what I want and keep my hair perfectly vibrant ⭐️, everyone there has positive energy while they’re working, it’s clean, and they’re great at timing out their appointments.

The hair stylist did an incredibly poor job dyeing my hair. It was extremely brassy and incredibly noticeable. When I Asked to get it fixed they said it would be free of charge but later changed their mind and wanted to charge me an insane amount of money to fix their own mistakes. If you value your hair, don’t choose this salon

I had to find a new hairstylist and we all know how hard that can be. Not only is this salon very friendly and super helpful I was able to find a new hairstylist that I absolutely love!!! Erica is amazing at what she does, very knowledgeable, takes her time with you and explains as she goes. I am so grateful to have found this Salon and Erica!! You all have a permanent customer. 😊

I have been going to JM Hair Gallery for more than five years and I love the salon and the staff! Jen always makes me feel beautiful and she is able to change up my color constantly without ever damaging my hair. I would give 10 stars if I could!!

I’ve been going to JM hair gallery for a few years now. I usually see Evelyn and she’s great! I was going to a wedding and wanted my haircut before then and Evelyn was booked, so since I was just doing a simple cut I booked with a new girl Chazary. My hair turned out really choppy and uneven. Also, one side of my hair was longer than the other after she was done, so she tried to fix it and my hair kept getting shorter. At one point I said it was fine cause I didn’t want my hair any shorter than it already was. We cut a good 5in-6in off (which was more than I wanted) and I wanted to leave with a fresh, clean cut that was medium length, but ended up leaving with a choppy uneven bob cut. Also, she spent 2 hours on my hair so it didn’t seem like she was in a rush. When I called JM hair gallery it took 2 days to get a hold of someone. I called multiple times a day and left a voicemail but no one returned my call. I was frustrated with how hard it was to get a hold of a receptionist. When I did get a hold of someone they were very nice and said Evelyn (my usual stylist) can fix it for me for free. Evelyn did a great job fixing it! You can see the before and after pics below. I’m still unhappy that I paid $50 for the first haircut. Now that I see my new cut, it’s like a night and day difference. Also, the way my hair was thinned out the first time is something I have to wait until it grows out and can’t really be fixed so I’m left with hair damage from the first cut. Update: The inside of my hair (from when she tried thinning it out) is REALLY bad. I have a lot of chunks of really short hair underneath the top layer of hair. It looks like a kid tried cutting the inside of my hair with really dull scissors. My hair is damaged and they still made me pay for my first haircut. It’ll probably take a least a year for the inside of my hair to regrow 😭 this was the worst haircut I’ve ever got.

Update: Due to some scheduling issues with our prev stylist, i was unable to see her when i needed to. So, I got an appointment with Michael. He is another of JMHG's top tier stylists, but I think because he was new to the area, he had some room in his schedule. Usually with a new stylist, it takes a few visits for them to get to know one's hair and one's preferences. But, aside from a couple minor tweaks at my next visit, he cut and colored my hair beautifully, as though he's been doing it for years! He is very highly skilled and I am looking forward to getting to know him better. He really listened to what I wanted and carried it out with great precision and artistry. My pixie cut (which included a lot of specifications as I was a hair dresser myself many years ago) was damn close to my version of perfect. The ideal combination of precision and sass! The highlights were great, and the big chunk of purple in the front far exceeded my expectations! If he can please me to this extent on visit number one, he can please anyone! Additionally, now that ive seen him several times, as has my husband, we've come to learn that he is one of the nicest, most kind, humb ,and authentic people you could ever know. I j can't sa enough good things about him as a stylist or as a human being. If you're looking for someone new to look after your hair, don't hesitate for a second with Michael, he'll take good care of you! The photo with the purple is what my hair looks like dirty and after sleeping on it for a few nights. The fact that it looks at all reasonable is a testament to a high quality hair cut. Lovely salon very conveniently located with a super friendly and talented staff. My stylist, Michi, is so sweet, kind and talented. She doesn't mind at all when I have very particular requests about my short hair. She's very detail oriented and does everything she can to make sure I leave happy.

Have been my favorite hair place for 4 years. Until I came here the last time and my hair was done by Tanya. Partial highlights and a haircut. The highlights were done aggressively for my fine hair, after the first wash the hair became yellow. As a blonde I know very well it tends to happen overtime, but in this case it was my burnt hair + blunt yellowness. I recommend this place to everyone, just try to stick to the master you know. For me - I will never go to Tanya again. Thus it's my 2 starts to her.

Hey all! I'm not a big review person, but I have to talk about Brooke Leon. She is amazing!! I am always so grateful for her work, and she never leaves me feeling anything other than wonderful. She is truly great and would recommend anyone to her and this salon! She cuts my hair every 6-8 weeks and recently helped get my virgin hair a beautiful partial bayage. I have curls and she taught me how to embrace them! Great, professional salon!

I came across this hair salon because I have a business very close by.. I booked my appointment about two weeks out or a little more., I got a text message by Ashleigh the night before my appointment just so she can basically tell me she was not ready for what “I wanted to get done” and that I needed to book a consultation first (I could of been told this the day I walked in and made the appointment). I have curly hair (Latina hair) and it seemed she just didn’t want to deal with my type of hair BUT to wait the very day before, it was really unpleasant and unprofessional. When I walked in to initially book my appointment I specifically asked if they worked on my type of hair and the front desk girl told me it wasn’t a problem. (she was very kind). I also had a budget of $250 but I would of went higher in the price depending on how much work and quality of the service I would of gotten. Gladly, that same day after cancelling my appointment I found a great salon like literally walking distance from my house and for half the price and much more professional service. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my friends or pretty much anybody who might have curly hair and is really excited for a new look!
