Joe, the main guy, does a good job cutting hair at a reasonable price. I usually get a medium fade here, and he takes his time to do it to my specifications each time. This salon isn't the fanciest, but it gets the job done.

The worst haircut I’ve ever had in my life! He never listened what I say and he just do whatever he thinks, after the haircut my head looks twice bigger than before! The gentleman to my left may have been new, since he cut my hair about 3 inches shorter than what I had showed him I had wanted. He seemed to not understand that if you pull the hair hard before cutting, it will wind up shorter than you think, especially with a slight natural curl when dry. When I told him to stop, he tried to convince his colleague that I had told him to cut it that short. The 2 stars are for the gentleman to my right, who was very applogetic and convinced me to let him try to fix it, but even he cannot uncut hair. I was too upset to get their names, but I appreciated the second gentleman's effort. Thanks to him, it should look fine. In about 3 months. After the holidays.

Worst experience ever. The stylist did not even bother to make my hair look like my reference photo, he literally just cut my hair however he wanted. He clearly had no idea what he was doing. There are chunks of my bangs that were cut out randomly, the layers are uneven and choppy, and my hair is genuinely unsaveable. After all of this another stylist blamed the horrible haircut on me having curly hair and then pressured me into tipping.

Shocked at the good reviews. But noticed that most are from several years ago. This place must have gone downhill during covid. It's rather nasty inside and looks like a place you'd see on Hoarders. The haircut is bad. But then again, he also doesn't clean or sanitize any of his haircutting tools. So at least you won't have to live with your bad hair for long

The man who cut my hair had just finished smoking a cigarette and then proceeded to wash my hair with his hands. The cut took under 15 minutes and he didn't understand my request at all and gave me a cut I'm really embarrassed about (even though I showed a picture of my style). I really hate writing poor reviews but someone with no experience could have done better if they put effort into it, not to mention the lack of basic courtesy and sanitation. Not worth $35.

Very good woman's haircut. The male hair stylist seems to be the owner. He communicates well and gave me a cut just like I wanted. The small cluttered shop doesn't give a good impression, but the cut is great.

Went in on the spur of the moment to get all my hair chopped off. About 13 inches. Joe gave me the cutest bob cut and it was only $28!!! Wish I lived in Chicago he'd be my new hair dresser.
