Another wonderful visit to Jo’s salon! They keep exceeding my expectations how is that possible?!! The owner has a beautiful spirit. I got a haircut & blowout with Amber and she was PHENOMENAL!! I’m so grateful for these women 💖

Review for Karla, the nail technician! You have to come here, she is the best you can find! She does magic on your nails and they last a whole month! I tried so many spots in Chicago and I was never satisfied with the ratio pricing/quality. Ever since I’ve met her, I have not changed and I don’t intend to! She pays attention to details and she wouldn’t make you leave if she didn’t do a great job! Here is the pic of my own nails with gel, aren’t they perfect? If you are looking for your nails to be done, you can stop searching!

I have been going to Jo Chicago Salon for a few months now and is definitely my favorite nail salon I have ever been to! The nail tech is so kind and a great conversationalist, besides being great at nails. I added some pictures from getting my nails done here and I've loved every manicure I've received.

If I could I would give this 0 stars I did not even make it to the place. Purchased a groupon for a haircut deep conditioning and blow out. Made an appointment for Monday. Just got a text cancelling my appointment due to only having one stylist available who called off. So I guess they have cancelled all their Monday appointments. They should try letting buyers know this prior to purchasing. I tried making an appointment for next Monday but once again one stylist so they dont have an opening for morning. Would I have known this I wouldn't have purchased this. I was not expecting to wait this long for a haircut. I have never heard of a place only having one stylist available. I have a busy work and home schedule. This is very inconvenient as a full time employee and a mother of three. Now I have to go through hoops to try and get a refund from groupon (😒) so I can go and get my much needed haircut elsewhere. Will definitely look for a place where they have more than one stylist available.

The lovely ladies of Jo Chicago salon took fantastic care of us during our short visit to Chicago. Our nails look wonderful, and our hands and feet are rejuvenated. Highly recommend!

My husband and I found Jos via a great Groupon deal. A lot of places treat Groupon customers differently than full paying customers - this is NOT true at Jos. Jo herself welcomed us with a smile, took our coats, got us drinks and even pulled some extra men's magazines for my husband. Our mani and pedis were thorough and relaxing. My no chip manicure looks amazing and the lady constantly stopped to ask me if I was happy with how things were looking. We will definitely be back!

Amber is THE BEST. I was super nervous about dying my hair and wasn’t sure what I wanted. Amber helped me pick out a color and I was beyond ecstatic and surprised with how it came out. She put care into the cut and made me look and feel awesome. 💁🏻‍♀️

I just got back from seeing Amber and she did an excellent job with my balayage melt. It’s important to know you won’t always get the hair in the picture, stylist knows best!! She worked with my natural root base to tone out my redness but keep my balayage blended super well and make it look effortless. I rarely leave reviews but she did an excellent job and kept me informed on how to expect my hair to lift as well as why and what she was using on my hair. Great experience 😊

I love getting my nails done by Angie, always such a huge variety of colors to choose from. The only issue I have is scheduling via text. Whoever texts me responds so unprofessionally and I felt disrespected the last time I was texting you guys. I don’t feel as if I was accommodated for properly and I don’t feel very comfortable texting there either because the online bedside manner is terrible, as is the grammar. Love the nail techs, very much dislike whoever texted me back today.

The techs here do a great job every time I come in. There's complimentary wine, a good movie on the TV and a clean, modern atmosphere. I also love that I can just text you guys to book an appointment. Jo, you guys have me hooked for life! Thank you for always taking care of my hands!

I first heard about Jo Chicago salon on Groupon, and decided to visit three months ago. To this day, I have never seen such a professional and welcoming salon downtown with more reasonable prices. I ALWAYS get my no-chip manicure with Jennifer (such an angel) because the quality of her work is beyond exceptional. As soon as you walk in, the receptionist gives you a warm greeting, checks your coat, offers you drinks, asks your preference as to who you would like to see for your service, etc- The royal treatment! You are getting top dollar service starting from the front desk to the private VIP salon rooms. Surprisingly, the pricing is very economical, one of the many reasons why I keep on coming back. I'm a nurse, so I'm constantly washing my hands, using hand sanitizer, antimicrobial lotion, you name it-and I promise I have never had a more sturdy manicure than the one i get at Jo's. Another plus- at least a dozen times each day, I get compliments on my nails and even refer my patient's to Jo Chicago salon! Best kept secret!
