Don't trust this place. If you want your hair cut without consent this is the place. I had my hair braided and it was similar to locs and my hair was really long. It was past my neck. I went to this salon to get locs. They said they were trimming off the dead ends of my hair and it shouldn't make a difference to my hair length. After they finished I found out they cut my hair way too much and now my hair length doesn't even pass my ears. I didn't even ask for my hair to be cut and now I have to start my hair journey again.

It’s so sad I looked up natural hairstylist 3 left messages on each like 3 days ago no one responded.. I just do not understand as black women stylist, yall post your business but don’t answer. Yall think someone is going to blindly book an appointment without communication know you don’t respond.. you can go to white salons, Dominicans salons they answer and say what’s avail.. yall are terrible! Do be a stylist if you’re selective with who u want to serve. I am pissed because I have called 3 stylists and I haven’t Hurd from anyone. Thank you for not answering or returning my message!

I highly recommend this place. Nikki is AMAZING! She’s very personable and has a great personality. She doesn’t make you feel like you’re just another client. She asks questions before and during to make sure you’re getting what you. I’ll definitely be coming back.

This places is awesome Mildred has been doing my hair for years. This place is great the environment as well. Mildred is always on point with my hair color and treatment. She definitely can blow dry hair especially Dominican hair!!!! Nicky is also great she put my hair extensions and they lasted for about 3 months. The hair quality is great.

A friend of mine came to visit and needed a hair salon to get her hair done on a short notice, we spoke to the owner who accommodated her request . They have done an amazing job. The customer service they provide is above and beyond what we expected. Highly recommended place. Thank you

I've been coming here inconsistently for about a year and I LOVE THEM! I don't ever write reviews, but Nikki is just so educated in the hair care field. Every time I call, even if I have a style in mind, she tells me that they can either do it or she tells me that it's based off my hair density. She is always so nice and answers all of my questions! The good reviews are all true! I love that they are so close to UCF as well! As a student, it is extremely convenient to have knowledgeable people so close to school! As long as I am close by, Joni's beauty bar is my go to!

If you want all your hair chopped off, this is the place for you. I went there asking for a TRIM and a little shape up, and ended up with uneven chunks cut out of my hair and all of my hair gone. I went from my hair reaching my chin, to now barely touching my eyebrows!! Now I'm stuck with this, photos below

I’ve been going to Joni’s Beauty Bar for a while now, it was hard finding a good natural salon, the entire staff have always provide great service and are very professional. Would definitely recommend to everyone in the Central Florida area.

Just went in for a consulation stylist was very professional and knowledgeable and answer all my questions I see my self becoming a repeat customer and she also give me very good recommendations about what hair to purchase and what store I could try out. I already knew about some things she was recommending but I was just testing her knowledge about what to purchase, the style I want, and how to take care of said hair. She passed my expectations I don't know about anybody else's but I highly recommend going to this salon. I will repost when it's my schedule time to get my hair done. But for consulation A+.

My first experience with this salon was back in November and I received a natural hair trim (4c hair) and only had about an inch and a half trimmed off which allowed my hair flourish for months and made styling my hair easier. I returned in April for a braid down and it was very professional, quick, and overall a very good experience. If you want licensed professionals that genuinely care about the health of your hair while also providing quality styles with affordable prices, this is the place to go.

Next month will make three years I've been coming here; and the same awesome service which I experienced then I still receive today! Nikki is so fabulous and talented at what she does, if she's doing hair, nails or lashes she's always on point! I also love the fact that you are presented with a glass of wine while they prepare you for your make over. The environment is always calm, clean, and relaxing. Joni's Beauty Bar is where it's at!

All I can say is I have been to many, many places that were horrible and some mediocre at best. When I visited Joni's Beauty Bar, I wasn't looking for much. I thought I would just give it a try because I needed to leave my previous stylist. Much to my surprise, Nikki and Quierra were great! They truly love what they do and take pride in their work. They are patient, precise and in my opinion, experts in their field. If you want a great place with a great atmosphere and great stylists, you have to give Joni's Beauty Bar a try. I had my hair done, eyelashes done and eyebrows waxed all in the same place and I was COMPLETELY satisfied! You ladies have made me a client for life!

I can go on and on about the exceptional services provided and received as a member at Joni’s Beauty Bar. The care isn’t dependent on the stylist. I guarantee you, your needs will be met regardless of whose chair you’re sitting in or what services are being rendered. The staff is welcoming and extremely accommodating. Thank You Ladies! I went there to get my natural hair braided in cornrows. She did a very good job. It wasn’t anything fancy and she did it relatively quickly. I felt that I was charged a little too much for what it was and how long it took, but I haven’t had my hair braided recently so I don’t know the average cost (I paid $45). I like the salon and I like my hair when it’s braided, but I don’t think I’d get my hair done again, just because it’s a little out of my price range

Very good service!!! I have locs and usually drive about 45 minutes to get to the locticians place. I started looking for some near me. A lot of people claim to do locs but have no idea what they are doing. Nikki came on time and got started. She cleaned my scalp, washed my hair, and then interlocked it. She didn't try to force me to buy anything and gave me tips on making my hair thicker. The atmosphere was very clean, nice, and respectful. I will definitely be back!

I took my little girl here and was so pleased with not only the end product but the care and attention they gave to her throughout the process. My little girl is wheelchair dependent so to find someone who is patient and willing to accommodate someone in a wheelchair has been a long time challenge. Nikki and Myesha (hope I’m spelling names right) tag teamed to get her hair done in a timely fashion between their other customers. This experience was so much better than experiences I have had in other salons. I’m so glad I gave Joni’s Beauty Bar a chance because they exceeded my expectations. They provided a beautiful/clean atmosphere, sweet/caring staff, other customers present were friendly and accommodating, great styles, great prices with no need for guessing because it’s all written out on the website, and creative membership program that offers discounts. I like this place so much that I already booked my daughter’s next appointment and I will be making my appt also. See you guys in 2 weeks. 😊❤️

This place is no better than any other hair and nail place and WAY over priced. They advertise that they open and accept walkins on saturdays. We were infront of the store at 9:30am on a saturday, and they were closed. We called up and they told us we had to schedule an appointment. Then they started charging us for things that other nail places do for free.
