Just got absolutely manhandled at this salon. My stylist was brushing my hair in a rough, careless manner when he ripped my PERMANENT cartilage earring out of my ear. I was bleeding. Then I was charged for the full amount of the service. Very confused at why I was treated this way.

Stephen has been giving me the best haircuts ever since I grew my hair with COVID and no longer could just go get any haircut like I could when I had short hair. Sad they lost the original downtown location but glad Stephen is still available on occasion at the new south location.

Been a client of Sarah's for over 3 years and have no plans to change that. Their new location on Lamar is well equipped. The staff is always nice too.

I always have the best experience here. They have the greatest staff- have been here for regular haircuts, special occasion and costume looks and they’ve nailed it every time. Each of the 4 or 5 staff I’ve used over the last couple of years has done a great job. Definitely in good hands at this salon!

My wife and I have been to the Domain and downtown locations. Don’t let the name or the glitz and glam fool you. They hire inexperienced stylist that are not qualified to work at as a hairdresser. Don’t do it.

Sarah is absolutely amazing and can’t recommend her enough! It all started with coming in for a blow out and she’s been doing my hair ever since. On top of that the staff are incredibly nice, greeted genuinely every time I walk in for an appointment.

I have been a client of Sarah Contey for the better part of a decade, and with good reason. Her experience as an educator is appreciated and comes through in everything she does. She is constantly learning and meticulous in ensuring that my hair is healthy and that the style, cut, and the color is modern, flattering, and unique. I just love her and would follow her anywhere. Jose Luis Salon is also exceptional; I love how they pre-book my appointments, so I never miss an opportunity to sit in Sarah's chair.

Just had an incredible cut and style at Jose’s. Master Stylist Roy Pulido was wonderful; he really listened to what I wanted and then he created a great cut that made my hair look healthier and fuller and then he showed me how to style it. Roy is the best!

Sarah Contey is a hair magician! I regularly get my hair cut and colored with her and could not be happier. She exceeds my expectations each and every time I’m in her chair. I can not recommend her enough. If you want amazing hair color she’s your girl!

The worst experience that I've encountered with a high-end salon. I showed the stylus a photo of what I wanted however the ending result was not to par. I paid $180 and will need the book at another salon next weekend to get the hairstyle and color that I've desired. I'm currently on a walker due to a drastic fall and 3 team members at the reception desk actually watch me struggle opening up two sets of double doors. The salon would not actually take a tip on my credit card for the stylist and indicated I would have to go through Venmo. I'm requesting that the owner reach out to me

Asked for a simple trim and layers, went with kelsey. It’s crooked in the back and does an upside down u shape longer on both front ends. Waiting for it to grow now.... needless to say I hate it.

Calm and clean atmosphere. Upscale without being pretentious. Had a blowout done and Jasmine, my stylist, was sweet and responsive to the way I asked her to style my hair. I was a little worried about the parking situation in that area, but there was a Convenient parking in ramp adjacent to the building. Will definitely go back there!

I had my haircut with Kelsey and it is completely chopped up . Long hair wanted long layers and now I have chopped hair shortest layer starting at ear!!!! terrible , i have had many haircuts this is the worst one ive ever had

I have 2 different haircuts on my head! Olivia came highly recommended so I made an appointment with her. I then later had to reschedule with someone name Tyler because they double booked Olivia. His services were more expensive than Olivia’s so I had to request that since they made the scheduling mistake they honor the original price!! Why did I have to ask for that?? Seemed like they would’ve offered that customer service. That was my first red flag. I went in for my appointment and clearly explained what I wanted and showed pictures and the stylist just did whatever he wanted, basically leaving me with a lopsided mullet. I wish I would’ve just waited for Olivia.. I will only give this place another chance if I can get in with her.

I went to Jazmine to get my daughter hair done and she did a wonderful job … I was a little nervous taking a 4 year old in but everyone was super patient with us . Jazmine knew exactly how to deal with a fidgety child and accomplished the exact look I wanted for her .. She really helped Bring my daughter’s curls back to life

These location promoted an EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL makeup artist named Ivette JoAnn who I booked for a photoshoot. They used this business to get her clientele, and they really should’ve known better than to do so because she failed to even show up to her booking that was planned for several weeks and wasted the time of people who invested a lot of money to be there. This salon deserves 1 star for promoting someone so shady and undeserving. Find quality people to represent your business with, you all look absolutely terrible and just as unreliable as she does. What a joke.
