Excellent job by Jocelyn, her and Lourdes very friendly and amicable. Awesome haircut and a pleasure in general. Planning to come back to get a facial, and definitely make it my regular haircut coiffure. I love the music too!…👍

I recently relocated from another state and was looking for a Dominican salon. I loved it! I had an appointment and it started as soon as I walked in. The atmosphere is very welcoming, warm and clean. Josi was really attentive and welcoming. She explained everything we were doing to my hair. She made me really comfortable. I truly enjoyed my experience and recommended this salon to everyone!!!!

I was referred by a friend because I am natural and so is she. Horrible service they will never get my service again. The prices need to be listed. I took down my own braids, I know I needed a was it's a salon I thought they wash people hair. First red flag when she said you need your hair wash too. I'm like yeah that's why I came. She washed my hair, colored my hair, washed the color out, bleed dried my hair, trimmed, and curled my hair has me looking like someone great grand mother I asked how much for the service she said 200.00. Umm I asked what did get now if she would have said 100.00 I would have been comfortable with that. She basically charge individually for everything. She asked was that too much, yes it is she said ok 180 I was furious but I needed to get out of there. I've never sat over 2 hrs I was there for over 4 nor paid that much money at any Dominican salon here. I called the lady who referred me and she was passed. She said they never charged that much. She was furious and said she was calling the lady who referred her. Needless to say we will not give them any business. I had to flat iron my hair later that day just to wrap. Horrible service do not go there.

I called the salon before arriving to see if they do takedown ffom a sewin she said yes it’ll be $20. I said great. When I arrived to the salon, She asked me again.. you just want take down I said yes she said no wash. I said no and then I asked her. How much is the wash and she said Wash & condition is $60. I said OK I’ll go ahead and do it with the additional $20 for the takedown fine, as I was sitting in her chair, she noticed that I had braids and she said that would be an extra $10. I said fine as I was sitting in her chair I changed my mind Abt getting wash and condition. I said no I’ll get my hair wash another day by my stylist who I was going to in a few days.. She said well I normally I don’t take down unless you get the hair wash condition. I said you didn’t say that on the phone. Once I said that she did not finish taking my braids down. I had like two braids still in my hair and she said its just a little bit it’s not much but I paid additional $10 to take my braids down now all of a sudden you Don’t want to Finish taking my hair down. I immediately got up paid and scan the bar for review and here I am I will never go back there again because I paid you $10 still to take my braids out, but you left two braids in there which really didn’t bother me at the same time I paid you for it, but I will never go back bc she should’ve said that on the phone that she didn’t take down unless you get a wash and conditioner, she did not specify that on the phone before I arrived and I gave her a tip on top which I shouldn’t have.

Too bad 0 stars isn’t an option! Terrible if you can’t speak Spanish DO NOT COME HERE! I brought my 6 and 9 year old African American girls to this shop for a wash, silk press, and trim! From the time I walked through the door my heart told me to turn around! The shop is beautiful but the young ladies who give service only speaks SPANISH. The entire time was a struggle as I tried to explain to the young ladies through out the service exactly what I expected from them they had to continue to call a gentleman over the phone in order for me to communicate with them (HORRIBLEEE) one of my babies have very kinky hair! I asked before hand if they worked with all textures of hair because of not I would decline the service and I was told yes! So I’m like okay great! As my baby began to get blow dried I noticed that she was in a bit of pain! She pulled through the blow out but when she began to get pressed out she began to cry! As I’m trying to explain to the young lady that she’s burning my baby I quickly remember that they couldn’t understand me which made me very frustrated! I asked the young lady if she could call the gentlemen back on the phone so I could explain to him what was going on so he could translate. As I’m trying to get the young ladies to understand me their laughing and talking amongst each other (which I thought was very disrespectful). I normally care for my own kids hair but I was extremely tired today and needed a break! Coming to this shop made it more stressful than everrrrr!!! I was told that I would still have to pay for a service that I didn’t fully receive because of their LACK OF COMMUNICATION! Therefore I told them to go ahead and finish thinking that I was doing the right thing I quickly noticed I should’ve went with my first mind! As soon as my kids got out of the car from the shop this is how their hair was… SILK PRESSSSS???? Wow! I’m so disappointed and so sad that my kids have to go back to school like this! I had to spend more time flat ironing their hair again to perfection because these people just wanted MONEY😡😡 words can’t explain how disappointed I am 107 dollars down the drain😢😢

First visit to Josi’s. It was a fantastic experience. I needed a trim and conditioning badly. I showed Josi a picture of the cut I had in mind and she executed it beautifully. I was so pleased that I scheduled an appointment for my daughter…she loved her new look as well. We’ll definitely be back!

Surprisingly a very nice salon. Exceptional customer service. Scheduled an appointment and the response was rapid. I let them know that I’m natural and would bring my own shampoo and conditioner and it was not a problem. Josie hands while washing my hair is heaven. Josie gently scrubbed my scalp and really washes your hair. I appreciated the attention she gave to my hair. I’m tender headed and I did not have to tell Josie to be gentle. She detangled in sections and put in Bantu knots before blowing out each section of my hair. Josie asked what type of style I wanted but due to the language barrier she asked for a picture which let me know she wanted to give me exactly what I wanted. There are other staff available who are also fluent in English. When she finished my hair it looked amazing! She put it up in pin curls for me to reserve the style for later. I enjoyed my experience and definitely will be back. I like when I get my hair done and I’m receiving hair care. The amount of time she took on my hair was perfect. Literally in and out within an hour and a half. The best part was the pricing. Wasn’t expecting it to be so reasonable for the type of service I received so it was only right I left a worthy tip. Thanks JOSIE! Will be back again!
