Google Review: I really wanted to like this salon, but my experience has been nothing but frustrating. When I first scheduled an appointment, I was told I didn’t need to pay a deposit. Then, when I added a service, they suddenly insisted I had to pay one. Every time I booked, they kept bringing it up—even after I was reassured multiple times that it wasn’t necessary. The front desk staff seems completely clueless, giving different answers every time I called. To make matters worse, I asked for a specific color and ended up with highlights I didn’t want. I had to come back to get it fixed, which was another ordeal because rescheduling with them is nearly impossible. They act like you’re inconveniencing them just for needing an adjustment, and the attitude makes you feel like you’re committing a crime. Overall, they don’t seem to care about keeping clients, and the disorganization is exhausting. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Everyone at Joule Salon is not only professional but so very nice! Everyone participates to make my experience relaxing and comfortable each time. My stylist, Lauren is amazing. She is consistently excellent with every cut and color! I most often receive compliments on my hair. Thank you Joule Salon for helping me look my best!

After my job moved to Cary, I decided it was best to locate a hair salon in Cary instead of one closer to home in Smithfield. I searched many salons and found Joule Salon. After making my appointment, I did a test run on my lunch break to see how long it would take me to get there and the moment I walked in, I was taken by the smiles and welcoming visit from Lisa and her staff. The atmosphere was clean and provided a good vibe. What a nice first impression! Lisa, the owner and I spoke briefly and I explained my concerns and about my expectations. She smiled and said, “ we will meet your expectations”. She introduced me to Rayeh. She spent some time consulting me and explained the services that would be best. I agreed and was relieved I had stopped in. Tonight, I finally got my hair done by Rayeh and I cannot be more pleased with the cut and color. Her precision and professionalism were astounding! It was great service with a smile! She treated me like she had known me forever and I feel like I have made a new friend! My expectations were surly met and I look forward to my next visit! Thank you Rayeh and Joule Salon!!

Raya absolutely saved my hair. I bleached it at home and it was the craziest mess. She took the challenge on after another salon said they couldn’t fix it. She was sweet and kind about the whole situation. She had expert knowledge on fixing my hair without damaging it more and matching what my goal for the color was. I love her!

I had the pleasure of seeing Jordan yesterday evening as a new client, coming in with a recent bad haircut from a stylist at another salon. I explained the situation to her and shared a few haircut ideas that I thought might "fix" the mess of a haircut I had. I believed it would need to be shorter with layers, but I was unsure. Jordan was incredibly communicative, honest, and kind throughout the process. She took the time to share her professional suggestions on what might make my hair more manageable as I begin the process of growing it out. I told her to feel no pressure in fixing another stylist’s mistake and gave her free rein to do what she thought best. Let me tell you—Jordan went above and beyond! She executed the re-cut perfectly, far exceeding my expectations. I left the salon feeling so happy and confident with my new style. Thank you, Jordan, for your amazing work! I’ll definitely be back when it’s time for a refresh.

Everyone at this salon is so professional and sweet. They really know what they are doing. Alex does an amazing job on my hair every single time. The color and cut comes out perfect. Never had a bad experience. Would recommend this salon to any and everyone!

Joule has hands down saved my hair! I went in two years ago for a color correction and I haven’t been anyplace since! I have been working with Savannah and she is amazing and exceeds my expectations every time! And they can work with all different hair colors. I have been blonde now darker.

One of the best salon experiences I've ever had as an adult by far! The whole vibe of this place was great, really positive, the staff was super friendly and pleasant. My stylist Rayeh was just awesome! She took her time and addressed the issues I was having and gave me the best haircut I've had in decades!! Definitely found my new hair spot!

I had an amazing experience with Christine! She listened carefully to what I wanted and gave thoughtful suggestions based on her expertise. The end result was better than I could have imagined—my hair looks and feels incredible! She also made the whole experience fun and relaxing. I'm very happy with my service this past Tuesday! My stylist, Christine, did an excellent job with my haircut. I got my hair evened out and added layers. I've cut my own hair for years, so I was nervous! But Christine made it a wonderful experience, she understood what I wanted and communicated with me all the way. Very satisfied!

Very accommodating, my husband had Jordon and I had my haircut done by Madison. They were pleasant, listened to our needs and very professional. More than happy with my cut. Hair coloring is beyond great. Would recommend to anyone looking for friendly, clean, professional service.

I have been going to Samantha for my haircut for over a year now. I am very impressed with the salon and Samantha. The salon is clean and the staff is very friendly and professional. There is never a wait when I arrive for my appointment. Samantha is a wonderful stylist, I always love my hair after she cuts it!

Rayeh did my hair cut and blowout and was so helpful and was super detailed with making sure I got exactly what I wanted! I will definitely be back and appreciate how kind she was including the owner who I believe was there during my checkout process and made sure I was happy! When I came in for my appointment, my hair was dull, flat, grown out, and frizzy. It's safe to say that it needed some help! Rayeh did an amazing job of bringing some life and dimension back to my hair while making it feel 100x healthier. We did full highlights and some repairing masks to help with my hair's condition. Rayeh was precise and careful every step of the way, and my new hair speaks for itself. Highly recommend Rayeh to anyone looking to spruce up their look as she was not only great at what she does, but very sweet and personable as well (:

New to the area from Palm Beach Florida and was referred here by a neighbor. Epic fail. If you want an indifferent, uninterested, stylist (Sam) and a shampoo girl who completely soaks your back, shoots the water nozzle sideways directly in your ear, doesn’t even touch your scalp, washes your hair like a 2 year old playing in a tub and leaves it slimy with conditioner still in it than this is your salon. Clearly she wasn’t trained properly on a professional level let alone at all. I guess I’m use to a professional service having owned my own salon as well. Needless to say I left without proceeding with the my haircut after the ridiculous 2 second awkward shampoo and the stylists poor attitude that was enough indication for me that the haircut would be a disaster too. No thanks! ✌🏼

I had the best experience ever today at Joule Salon with stylist Jana! Went in for a haircut and to get bangs for the first time. Jana was incredible. She listened to everything that I wanted and made sure that the length was exactly what I anticipated. I showed her some example images, and she made my bangs look even better than the pictures! Extreme attention to detail and takes her time. 10/10 would book with Jana again in the future.

Booked this place with perfect timing so that I could have my hair cut before my wedding hair test run. They called me 25 minutes before my appointment when I was on my way, to tell me my hair stylist was too busy with another appointment to see me. I explained that I am leaving in two days and need my hair cut for the trip (I am getting married in Mexico City). She informed me there is nothing she can do, there is no one to cut my hair. She told me that they had tried to call to confirm my appointment earlier in the week. This may be true but I have no record of it. I have a reminder text from yesterday with no option to confirm. Maybe this is common practice but it absolutely should not be. I am a teacher and have a restrictive schedule. I made accommodations and rearranged my life, for nothing. I am so so so so disappointed. I am desperate for a hair cut before this trip. I planned in advance. For no reason.

I booked with Savannah for a haircut and full highlight. Immediately after walking in the salon she had a bubbly personality aswell as very sweet! The whole salon is filled with such good team work and my hair turned out beautifully thanks to all of them working together!
