Had my 1st appointment today with Tammy. It had been over a year since my last hair cut and I needed a change. I had long, thick, brown hair. I wanted a lighter cut and a fun, funky color. Tammy did such a fantastic job. My hair cut is incredible. The shape looks great and it is so much lighter on my head. I feel bouncy and energetic. I asked for a funky purple with my brunette. She did a beautiful technic that I couldn't tell you the name, but it isn't too drastic, yet still beautifully done. Tammy was sweet and kind the entire time. The scalp massage during my shampoo was heavenly. My hair look fantastic. The color is beautiful - funky yet still professional. I look forward to booking my next appointment with Tammy. So glad I found this salon.

Great experience! Tammy did a wonderful job. She dry cut and styled my hair in only 30 min (thick hair, long layers, curtain bangs). Will definitely come back here.

Stylist was rude, charged more than on website for cut and shampoo. Only dry cut was given. She took a total of 20 minutes on my hair including my wait while she finished another customer. Won’t be back.

TT did a beautiful job on my hair! Got a cut, color and style. I don't live in the state anymore but plan on going back to her when I visit. Haircuts are a bit more expensive, run about $55 before tip for long thick hair

I love it here, I always leave happy with my haircut which means a lot after bad experiences at other places. Also the best at bangs in Portland from my experience!

Booked an appointment online. When I showed up they said they did not check it. So I came there for nothing. Such a waste of time. Why do you even have that kind of option when you never check it.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! The hair stylist cut my hair too short and did not listen to what I wanted. She did it the way she liked with a bad attitude. She also pulled my hair too hard and her fingernails were very long. I ended up having scratches around my forehead. Worst experience ever!!! Tammy was great, though. I got my hair done with her before…Just not with this one T_T

I love it here! So quick and professional, she did a better job cutting and highlighting my hair than anybody and even gave me discount because I’m getting married soon. I am white with fine hair and she processed it perfectly, not too much and it looks amazing. I will be going back forever. She also does a few of my friends hairs and they do such a good job!

not for curly hair. Tammy cut too much of my hair, she cut it at an angle which I didn't ask for and don't like, when my hair was dry I could see all my curls fanning out from the same place, I went back to the salon and asked for layers again and she only gave me two and they're spaced out unevenly. all the while she kept insisting she knew better than me, was rude about the grays in my hair, she was so shocked at how much better it looked. I made this appointment telling them I had curly hair I wish they had just said they didn't know how to work with it before I got in the chair. this place seems mostly for styling and coloring and they only really do one look.

Don't come here if you don't need split ends trimmed and if you're not getting a fairly common style of haircut. I went there to get a pixie cut with short sides and they buzzed 3/4 of my head.

3 stars because the perm was done well and the price was good, but her attitude and conclusion wasn’t satisfactory. This is my first time coming to a hair salon and I was hoping to have a good experience since I was extremely out of my element and already an anxious person. I had originally showed my hair stylist a wolf cut, and told her I wanted to keep the sides and back long but she started showing me photos of a perm with hair on the sides and back and I reluctantly agreed to it. The perm went well and while I still love the look of it, if you’re going to suggest a different haircut to someone, at least do it right so I don’t have to pay an extra 40-60 dollars for a barber to clean up the mess. It just felt like she wanted to do less work because she begrudgingly talked about how she disliked the amount of perms that have been coming in.

Decided to give Jovana Salon a try after searching for a quality affordable salon in Portland to get a balayage and haircut and I am so glad I did! The haircut and balayage is one of the best I’ve ever had and the most affordable. The balayage and haircut was exactly what I was looking for and my stylist was so nice. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for quality salon services at a great price.

I have been going to these ladies for 10 years now. Lina is my girl but I would let anyone of them do my hair! They are friendly, knowledgeable and very reasonably priced. I send everyone I know that is looking to change hairstyles here…. I also had my eyebrow micro-bladed here and I absolutely love them!!! These ladies are rock stars!! ⭐️

On on a >Monday< I called about 11:40ish for a same day, two women's cut apt. [We checked online all over the beverton area] - Not only was I given 45 min. For arrival time, but one of the best cuts I've/We've ever had. Dry cut & style long hair $45+tip!!! Fantastic! Warning #parking challenge accepted, I would definitely book again next time in town.. So hard to get a spontaneous cut nowdays. I dislike online appts when I've never met salon persons before and can't see if they feel comfortable working with my hair. This palce is wonderful. Kikki did my shampoo - was very relaxing. Tammy did my cut, blowdry and style. Such a professional! I'm extremely satisfied! She knew my hair texture, cow licks, curls, and how to style best for my face. I knew I could trust her skills. I'm so very happy and will feel relaxed on my vacation next week. Thank you. Well worth the experience! I'll make an online appt for the followups ❤️

Very good service and a quality men’s cut for a good price. The staff were friendly and nice to talk to. The location is in a really nice and walkable neighborhood with cafes, restaurants, and retail shops all around. Easy access on public transportation NS streetcar.
