I am never waiting beyond my appointment time. I am completely satisfied before leaving. I have received many compliments on my cut, color and hair styles. I have met many people on the bus for her number and they have gone to her. She loves what she does. She loves seeing her clients leave her shop more than satisfied.

I can’t believe it’s been almost three years since I did the big chop. I can’t imagine having long hair ever again because Julissa keeps the short cuts poppin’. I am so glad I found her on StyleSeat. A match only God could have orchestrated.

I met Julissa over 15 years ago. She became a dear and near friend to me.. She is by far the most amazing hairstylists ever. Her chairside manner is absolutely 5 star. She listens closely to her clients and delivers fierce and fabulous styles. From short hair to long hair to natural hair and sew in weaves. She masters all of the above and much more. I highly recommend anyone to pay her a visit...I assure you all, she will never disappoint.

I love it here!!! Great staff, great service and privacy. I usually get a weave or silk press with a trim or curls. Julissa is always on point and gives me what I need and want. Don’t hesitate just book an appointment, you wouldn’t be disappointed.

I’ve been coming here for 2 years and I’ve received nothing but compliments on my hair! I have referred numerous friends with different hair textures and hair lengths and everyone leaves looking like a SUPERSTAR. I am not the best at taking care for my hair so I have done a relaxer, color rinse and a combination of a partial sew-in and partial micro-links sew in. This is the only hair salon in New York that offers custom hair installation. The location is very zen, clean and quiet. Clientele are mostly professional women who are very particular with their hair. I highly recommend Jovi Hair Suite.

I first came to Jovi while traveling for work in 2016. She cut my hair exactly how I wanted it done, which has been a problem with other stylist. Weirdest thing somehow she remembered me when I came in recently I think 2018 Jan, she remember exactly how she cut my hair before and me as well. Having a stylist to read my mind is important to me. She really nailed it. I plan to bring my mom to her and see her again soon. Julissa is very nice and can girl talk and stay quiet depending on your personality! So cool. Last time I went she had about 3 lines of products. She used Design Essentials for me, which I liked. My only issue now is that there is no hair steamer, which is really important to me. Generally I like to dable with high end products at the salon. She is very knowledgeable about the products she uses and price of products is not everything. MY HAIR CAME OUT GREAT! No long waits. I have a weird hair texture, but she totally understands me. Cant wait to see her again.

If I never go back to Jovi Salon it would be too soon. I was serviced by Zarinah, she seemed to be knowledgeable and professional. Her style was perfect and I received lots of compliments. When I went to reschedule my appointment she cancelled on me last minute and told me to come to the salon the following day, when I got to the salon it was closed and Zarinah blocked my number so that my calls or text wouldn’t be received. I’d recommend the salon just don’t get your hair done by Zarinah.
