You know when you go somewhere and can tell the people who work there love it? That’s Jovi. And that’s the type of salon I feel most comfortable in. I’ve had the best hair being Wynter’s client. Literally, compliments on it everywhere I go and I’ve done just about every hair color with her. She never misses. The knowledge, passion, creativity and customer service that comes from this place is something special. …they even provided me with a shower cap when it was pouring down rain after my appointment.

Having just recently moved to VB, I am so happy I found Jovi Salon. The atmosphere is just amazing and I felt comfortable immediately. Gabriela is absolutely phenomenal! She was so kind, attentive, and her communication from consultation to color was clear and informative. My color was perfect, literally exactly what I asked for and envisioned. I’ve definitely found my new salon and stylist!

Wynter, Kyernan, and everyone who works at Jovi are so wonderful. The front desk managers are so kind and helpful. I have had to cancel appointments due to illness and they have been so nice when rescheduling. Anyone who has touched my hair (including blow drying, washing, toning) has always been careful in asking about products and allergies (something I’ve never experienced anywhere else). I’m thankful I’ve found a place that makes me feel happy every time I come in, and confident when I leave.

I have been with Wynter for many years now and she just continues to grow and get better. The environment that she and Rachel have curated means that Jovi is an amazing experience from start to finish. My husband now gets his hair cut here, and stylists have been so welcoming for my preteen kiddos as well, Easy booking through text and phenomenal experience and results. Cannot recommend enough.

I love everything about JOVI SALON. From the encouraging gorgeous women to a whimsical happy environment, this is the most beautiful salon I have ever been to. Jovi Salon even has a Taylor Swift and an enchanted forest bathroom! YeS I am serious! The ladies there are so talented and it’s awesome they can match you up with the perfect stylist that will help you achieve your vision. My amazing stylist is Rachel, and if you do not know this Diamond you are missing out on a talented beautiful soul. How are you not following her insta????? (@rachelhalldoeshair)She listened to me at our initial consult a couple years ago and she took the time to hear me and to listen to me cry over thinning of my hair due to thyroid disease. I also had some bad luck in the past with stylists that unfortunately fried my hair so bad it’s never been able to grow back…until I met the queen herself…. Rachel. CUTIE HEAD Hand tied hair extensions have changed my life. Rachel was honest about the process to get my hair back healthy first and along the way we can lighten slowly if my hair is healthy only. I was patient and did all the home care and products (Kevin Murphy products are amazing)and I’ve had the most beautiful transformation of hair this whole journey. I have healthy natural hair. I feel beautiful in her chair. She even has a treasure box you get to pick a gift after your appt. The ladies all supporting one another and all so social making you laugh constantly. I was blessed enough to also get to know Kyernan, (Rachel’s assistant at the time),and she is a true gem. How are you not following this hilarious chic (kyndaextrahair)?I had the best team working on my hair and every time I left the chair I felt confident and overjoyed of just the best girl time I had in their chair. Kyernan is hilarious and a genuine person. Her and Rachel slayed my hair every time and if you are lucky enough to get an appt with Rachel or kyernan…thank me later… you are welcome. I could go on for days on how amazing Jovi is, but it is hard to bottle up all that joy on a review. I’m 44 and have gorgeous 22” extensions! Don’t let age stop you for being you. You can have the long mermaid locs! You can have the gorgeous pops of color! Make an appt with any of these girls to help bring out YOU. Be prepared to feel pampered, loved, and special. It hurts my heart to think after this long as a client of Jovi, I haven’t posted a google review. I am lucky enough to have Alessa as my dedicated stylist and friend at Jovi. I came to Jovi a little over 2 years ago (I think), measuring based on my scheduled appointment in a few weeks to get my 3rd set of extensions. Jovi, is so special. When I say that, I don’t mean special because of the pastel walls, the dessert themed stools and mantels, the beverage selection including made to order coffees, or the floor to ceiling ombré wall of top tier products (but yes). It is so special because of the people. Everyone has on a smile. Not the in your face, trying to hard, deep down, we all know you’re faking it smile. Like, a genuine ass, hey girl, I”m really glad you’re here smile.” That type of shit. Aleesa, time and time again, has made me feel more beautiful than I’ve ever felt in my life—whether she’s giving me a 24-inch extension transformation or a platinum blonde shoulder-length chop. She’s not just my stylist; she’s my friend. We talk about life, and she remembers the little things I mention (even the ones I forget myself). But if you’re not in the mood to chat, that’s okay too. Aleesa adapts to you—no pressure. Over the years, I cannot imagine trying to keep track of all the people who have complimented my hair- it’s impossible. The stylist at Jovi are there to educate you first. They use the best brands, products, tools, and not to mention have “in house” access (lolz) to one of the most luxurious hair extensions lines to exist! I have been there when I’m sick and don’t feel like talking, I’ve been there hungover (although I don’t recommend), I was there recently, sad, after the passing of my father and without saying a word they embraced me with hugs, I have eaten lunch & dinner there, I have worked there, fallen asleep there, I have laughed so much my cheeks hurt, BUT most importantly… no matter how I show up…. I have felt safe there. It’s seriously like having a whole separate friend family. Rachel & Wynter have created such a magical atmosphere full of incredibly wonderful people and I hope, if you’re reading this and are in need of a new salon or hair stylist, call - make the consult. you won’t regret it.

I’m a picky hairstylist of 20 years so finding the right fit for my hair has been a challenge. Jovi is such a gem. From the decorating to the vibe, it’s such fun place to come. I see Mea for blonding and she does a great job listening to what my needs are and taking the time to execute them. The assistants are so hardworking and great at washing, blow-drying and curling. Jovi seems to work very well as a team which is rare to see in the hair industry. Glad I finally get to be a client somewhere I can feel safe and valued! Great job Jovi!!

Jovi Salon is hands-down my favorite place to get my hair done! This is the only salon where I feel 100% confident in every stylist. They're all so knowledgeable, talented, and really listen to what you want and will help you decide what will look best for you. The decor is very unique, with pastel colors and disco ball vibes that make the whole experience super fun. I always leave feeling refreshed and loving my hair. If you're looking for a salon that combines great skill with a fun atmosphere, Jovi is the place to go!

Jovie Salon came into my life after a disappointing experience elsewhere, and I'm so grateful I found them. My mom, an adorable senior citizen with some memory issues who loves her hair appointments, had her hair dyed the wrong shade at another salon, leading us to make a change. My top priorities were finding a place that would not only get her hair color right but also treat her with the kindness and respect she deserves. Jovie has gone above and beyond in both respects. Now, I don’t have to worry when she heads to the salon! The team at Jovie is consistently warm and welcoming. My mom sees Amber and couldn’t be happier! She always comes home talking about how much fun she had and how much she loves her hair. Jovie has truly become her happy place. I’ve also found my go-to salon here. The atmosphere at Jovie is exceptional—the leadership and culture radiate acceptance, warmth, and a sense of fun that you can feel the moment you walk in. The stylists are skilled and attentive; I can share my ideas, and my stylist Alyssa always nails the color and cut. I highly recommend going in for a consultation—the team genuinely cares about making you feel your absolute best!

Went here for a very very long time, was an extension client and also stayed after I took them out. I always had the most incredible experience with every stylist I got to see but Rachel was my main stylist and always heard what I needed and did it better than I imagined. So sad to not live in VB anymore because that means not seeing these angel girls often and getting to hug them. Worth every single penny because your hair matters and who helps you care for it also really matters.

Wynter & Rachel are literally the sweetest humans. They teach & guide their staff (& front desk) to treat everyone with kindness. You will never leave this salon feeling anything but happy (I mean just look at the space!) As a former local stylist wynter has always been inviting & welcoming as well as helpful whenever I’ve needed anything. Not only is the staff here so talented, they are pillars of their community. When deciding to where to spend your hard earned money, you would be hard pressed to find a more deserving place.

Alessandra is an amazing hair artist! Edit: she moved over to GPatton! She was extremely patient with me in really trying to understand my goal and WOW did she deliver !! I wasn’t even sure what I wanted but trusted her to accomplish it. I cannot thank her enough for her amazing work! The salon is very cute and you can tell lots of time went into the details throughout the space. The decor is very bubbly and gave peace, love, happiness vibes.

I get my hair cut with Katie and she does amazing curly cuts, and she has the most infectious positive energy. The atmosphere is amazing, everyone is so nice and friendly, and I’ve literally had the best haircuts of my life here. Cannot recommend enough

can’t say enough great things about Jovi! I’ll start with Rachel…the beautiful, bubbly, Taylor Swift loving blonde. You can’t miss her. And unless you take just a few minutes talking with her, that may be all you see. Let’s be honest…that in and of itself can be intimidating because, unfortunately, so many women, including myself, are constantly comparing ourselves to other women and feel insecure.I had been going to Jovi for about a 2 years before I sat in Rachel’s chair. Before I did, I let myself believe there’s no way I’d walk not reinforcing my insecurity. (Teaser….I leave with the MOST confidence each time) I already had extensions and had been stuck at home recovering from a simple surgery that turned into a life threatening ordeal. I’m not good at sitting still and being stuck in my head…I felt worse than I ever had. I did what I’ve always done best…avoid change and feeling the anxiety of judgment. I went months allowing my extensions to grow to the point where even my husband noticed it without meaning to make me feel self conscious. MY HUSBAND. After reaching out to Jovi, I scheduled a consultation with Rachel. I expected so much judgment…the consult itself was 💕💕 My first appointment flew by and was nothing but fun and uplifting….for more than 5 hours! Rachel and all of the other ladies made a hair appointment feel like hanging out with a bunch of friends filled with both humor and genuinely uplifting each other. Hours of talking with Rachel…I learned about her struggles and challenging life experiences she’s been through…you wouldn’t see that in her contagious smile. She managed to find ways to flip them into positivity using them as a driving force to find happiness, success and fulfillment in her life including transferring it to everyone she’s surrounded by. I know this has nothing to do with hair…but it makes hair appointments something to look forward to knowing you’ll walk out of there with more than just beautiful hair,because there’s no way you’re leaving her salon without gorgeous hair and more confidence than any salon. What really blows my mind, leaving that salon with the most AMAZING hair I can’t stop showing off or touching but reinforcement that’s it’s okay to be who you are. If you’re nice, giving and altruistic…it is OKAY to start treating yourself better with boundaries. Doesn’t make you a bad person. I needed to hear that. And how unheard of to see such a successful, caring and beautiful stylist choose kindness in response to folks who have done her wrong. What is that?! We both believe in karma, being true to who we are and people who might hurt us…it’s still better to respond with positivity…not mean words, gossiping and tearing women apart. It’s like a therapy session is customarily included in my long 6+ hour appointments. A good therapy session and hair more beautiful than I ever imagined…combine those 2 and you’re ready to take on the world. It’s the atmosphere of amazing folks that holds the secret ingredient to already perfect hair. I don’t think I could ever trust anyone like I do with Rachel and all of her little cuties she’s so excited to see thrive and be their best. She shares her magical abilities with those around her when she doesn’t have to. And trust me, it shows. You’re in good hands with so many ladies there. I promise. Also, I’ve learned I get my hair done for ME. I don’t worry about what others may think or spending money on me. It’s for me because we all deserve to do things for ourselves. Thank you, Rachel, for transforming my hair far beyond what I pictured as perfect into something I never even knew I could walk away with. This year has been very trying and Rachel has helped me tremendously both with my hair and me…I mean look at what she can do! But you’ve also taught me it’s okay to be me and not to let the negative experiences define or change me. It’s just always easier to take on all of the things with my beautifully transformed hair I couldn’t even dream up. Love you lady!! And all those cuties starting from the front door welcome. Keep killing it!!
