By far the best Braiding hair shop!!!! Been going here for years Joyce and her team delivers every single time. I show them how I want my hair and they do it 10x’s better !!!! Never had a problem going here!! I’m tall so I always get my braids long and I still get out within a decent time !!!!! If you not going to Joyce salon you are really missing out they are so sweet!!!!!!!! God Bless !!!!!!!

I asked one of the ladies not to braid tightly and she did it anyways. And now my scalp is screaming for help and my head is throbbing and bleeding.

Very nice and welcoming. Let me know expectations of how long and price. Braids look very good & very neat. I love having 3 people working on my hair so it can get done in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend and will be back again.

I just got my hair done on 3-22-24 and don’t get me wrong the box braids were nice but here the thing my edges were braided so tight that I wasn’t able too sleep until last night when I had too take the braids around my edges and back down and then I got relief…You shouldn’t have too pay that much for braides too have too take them down…Braides should not hurt and if you have a situation you shouldn’t have too wait seven days too come back so they can deal with with…That’s a 163 dollars I can’t get back and I may have too take the rest of my hair down if it continues too hurt!

Hate leaving bad reviews but here we go. I went in yesterday 3-23-23 for micros. I told her before making my appointment that I was tender headed. She said okay. She did my hair too tight around the edges. I told her during the process that some braids was too tight and she told me it was because my hair was short. My hair is about 4 inches long so it's not super short and can definitely be gripped. Anyways that night I couldn't sleep so the next day I called her and said it was too tight and can I come back for her to fix the few braids that was tight. She said Okay. When I got there, this lady sprayed OIL SHEEN on my scalp and told me she NOT taking them out to redo. Braids shouldn't keep you up at night. Now I'm taking them out as we speak. It's a BIG SIGN on her wall that say you have 7 days if you don't like your hair or need accommodations. The braids i have taken out so far has red bunps under them. She did absolutely NOTHING to help my situation and wasted my gas and $180. they will never get another dollar out of me. Im really starting to hate "African braiders" because they are so money hungry and selfish.

Joyce did a great job with my hair. I got small knotless flip over braids with Fulani mixed in the front. I showed her a pic and she did a wonderful job replicating the style. It isn’t exactly like it but just as pretty. Fast service got in at 9:15 ish she started about 9:30 and I was done by 2/230 the style is uniform braids consistent throughout great prices too. Just like back in NY thanks again ladies

These ladies did excellent. Just next time maybe not so tight. I got box braids for my trip to the beach. The ladies have a lovely spirit and nice. Got a soda on the house. Will return for my braiding and twist needs.

Great experience, got there at 9 an she was set up an ready to go ! Very minimal pain during the braiding process. Provide a snack an drink during the appointment. Would definitely recommend an use her services again!

Had an appointment today August 4th at 2pm arrived for my no one is at the place of business, I callled several times kept getting answering service could not leave a message, I waited 42 mins for someone while waiting I called Joyce's daughter's number get no answer just answering service left my name and number no one has yet to call me back I just don't understand never had this to happen since I have been coming to Joyce, someone should have called to let me know they weren't going to be there or late, it's good business to inform your clients that something is going on we all have things that happen in life but having a business and not imforming your customers is bad business!!!😭

I don’t trust many people with my daughter’s hair and we have been to a lot of shops in the area ,but the stylists at Joyce delivered the first time around!!! The cost was more than affordable and my baby has been smiling all day and she’s pickier than me! I am so appreciative because now my baby can go back to school feeling confident and happy and that’s always the goal for me!

Called for an appt on Monday and scheduled it for Saturday morning the same week. Ms. Joyce and her associates were very friendly and accepts walk ins. The service was good. And I had at least 2 or more ppl working on my hair at once which sped up the process. Cons: The space is very small for 3 or more patrons but they were all very friendly and my hair is very neat. I am also very tender-headed and they did an excellent job of not pulling or braiding my hair too tight. Highly recommend and I will be returning. The prices are reasonable for my style and length. MS. Joyce provides the hair for you at no extra charge.

My hair had start coming out the first week after I’ve had gotten it done. I asked them to fix my hair and they did after only one week. It’s been a month now and some parts of my hair had started coming a part I was told my hair would last 2 months or more. I would not recommend this place. Very poor customer service.

Worst experience ever!! Took 6 hours to do medium sized box braids! Went at scheduled time only to have to wait because no one was there to open the door ! My braIder stopped mid way to go eat so I sat for almost an hour while she fed her face! Also had a promotion on the business card for $20 off $100 and did NOT commit to that! Never again!
