Horrible experience. I bought it off Groupon and now I know why. I was going to be late to my appointment so I decided to be nice and call them they were rude to me and told me they had no days to reschedule: I asked to speak to a manager she then gave me a person who doesn’t speak English . Horrible customer service and this is why they are on Groupon on. Do not go they are rude Going to add to my Review since I couldn’t respond to what they posted . The fact they came on google reviews to make up lies instead of being professional and talking to the customer. Again do not let this place fool you , the reason they have a Groupon deal Is because no one wants to go there . They were rude unprofessional and simply a bad place to visit: as you can see by the response what kind of place you will be visiting . They will not accommodate you or make you feel Welcomed. I ended speaking to a manager at Groupon and they told me they had many many complaints from this place: usually Groupon doesn’t refund after 3 days but since they were aware of this place they refunded me. So save your Groupon money and go to a real spa who are professional and not rude.

I bought the facial package here so I’ve been here three times now. I truly wish I wasn’t locked in this package. The facility is nice and the facials themselves feel great, but the bedside manner ruins the entire experience. A beauty spa is for pampering and relaxing, but they spend most of the time trying to sell you extra services which takes away from the entire relaxation. She asked me to renew my package multiple times (I have 2 left!!), and then also kept asking me to upgrade services after I repeatedly said no. Even after I repeatedly said no, she tried to negotiate and persuade me to by telling me my sister next-door was interested. These tactics happen every visit! Then… after I left, they called me telling me that my Venmo for the tip did not go through. Regardless of me telling them that I am staring at the proof of transaction and even sending a clear screenshot of the transaction, they cornered me and acted like I was lying to them. I went back in person since I was close by and showed them my phone and the transaction of the tip and they asked me to send it again (!!?) like it was my fault that there was maybe a technical glitch or delay. On top of this they did not apologize and just continuously made me feel like a liar. Overall horrible experience— really wish I didn’t have two facials left in the package otherwise I would definitely not return.

Let me just say how hard I struggled with bumps on my face . But this place , is chef’s kiss after a week from their facial those bumps cleared . Thank you so much, I will be returning. I highly recommend, great service for a great price !!!

Very clean and new. The ladies working here are friendly. The place is very chill compare to most other Chinatown spas so I can really relax here. I bought a package deal for buy one get one free, so I thought the price is great.

Went here for my first facial with my girlfriend which we both enjoyed. What I didn’t enjoy was the 7 or 8 attempts during the facial to upsell me additional services I clearly didn’t want. Even going as far as to state that my girlfriend in the other room was opting for the more expensive services as some sort of weird prisoner’s dilemma negotiation tactic. I stood my ground and didn’t accept their offers, which was stressful because half of me was thinking I might have accidentally received a service I didn’t ask for and was going to be charged for it. My girlfriend however ended up being charged $120 more than what my service was, and when we chatted about our experiences we only knew that she got some sort of suction service as well. The rest of the treatment seemed to be identical. To my girlfriends knowledge she signed up for the diamond package and was told it would be about $108 but got charged $168 at the end and wasn’t sure if she had accidentally accepted another one of their upsells by mistake. Also after discussing with my girlfriend after she was told by the person treating her that her skin would be damaged if she didn’t opt for the more expensive package due to some acne, which she believed. Very predatory and exhausting to deal with when you’re essentially captive for an hour. Never going back Edit: changed to 1 star after owner replied, don't come here

was my first time getting a lash lift here in NYC! and it was the best! i was actually a walk in and they immediately took me in. everyone was super nice and sweet! very clean and they offer you water. 100% recommend and will be back 🤍

Great facials for a great price. Been coming here for years and it’s worth it to go regularly. When I don’t go my under eye bags start to reappear. Maintence is key. Ask them about their 10 pack package.

Oh my goodness, let me tell you. Gigi gave me the most INCREDIBLE facial. I’ve been on tour for the past four years and have had many a facial all over the country. I mean this when I say this was probably the best facial I’ve had in years! If you stumbled upon this place and are questioning whether or not to go, you will not regret it. Gigi was seriously the best. From the warm steam and cleansing, to the massage, to the masks, extractions, it was all perfect. It was one of those experiences that was equally relaxing and at the same time I knew she was really getting in there and improving my face. I am not able to come back for another six months due to work, so yall please go there for me in my stead. In case y’all need to know, they take Venmo! I called ahead a couple times and what I loved about this place is that they picked up right away both times. There are places in the city I can never get a reach of the business. Thank you for your customer service! Go see Gigi!!! YOUR SKIN WILL THANK YOU!

*Beware of final pricing if buying Groupon* I went in for the Deep Cleansing Facial from Group for $31. There was a lot of upselling involved and the esthetician offered half off for the mask $78. I agreed assuming it meant it would cost half of $78 = $39. At the end I see the total bill as over $200! $31 for the facial, $108 for microbrasion (which I didn’t know was done or an additional fee) plus $78 for the mask which I thought was $39. While my skin is feeling smooth, it was not worth $217. I felt blindsided by the final price. I also didn’t bring enough cash and had to use my credit card with another 3% fee with a final bill of $225. Was coming in hoping this would be my go to facial spot but feeling jipped.

Found a Groupon and went in today on a whim with my son bc we needed some pampering. They literally spent the whole time trying to upsell me services…like a lady kept interrupting my facial to try and sell me for myself and my son. When I agreed to upgrade his facial to the acne facial, she charged me for TWO FACIALS FOR MY SON. The regular Groupon facial and the acne facial despite the fact that they listed many of the same services on each description. She hustled me then acted confused by what I was saying. Nothing relaxing about high pressure sales people when you come to be pampered, and nothing worse than trying to do something nice for yourself and leaving feeling taken advantage of👎🏻

I came here wanting to find a spot that could be my new regular. Unfortunately while the facial was good the bedside manners of their facialists were beyond lacking & rude. They started by telling me my skin was so bad that the regular deep cleanse facial is NOT appropriate. It was a repeated hard sell to buy they collagen upgrade, which I refused. I am sensitive to heavy chemicals and came just for a pure extraction. I don’t know how they are incentivized but the rudeness of these people was consistent. I was with my sisters and they too were given same script and were forced into some collagen upgrade. It’s really too bad since the space was clean and I would have loved to buy a package and be a regular but their tactics were disgusting and it made the visit not relaxing.

Got a facial here. The steam was not hot enough, it felt like warm. Was pressured by the front desk lady to upgrade and later tip more even when I gave a good tip on the receipt. Won’t be coming back here.

If you trying to loose weight or tighten up, I highly recommend js body beauty. I've lost alot of weight but needed help getting rid of that last stubborn problem areas and loose skin. Marjorie takes her time and makes sure you get the results you want. I'm ecstatic about my result.

Really enjoyed my experience yesterday. I came in, they greeted me at the door so I could hand sanitize (and they sprayed the bottoms of my shoes too - love a place that takes hygiene seriously), and I checked in while they got me some water. I was using a Groupon (they asked on the call when I made an appointment — only two hours earlier so very happy they could accommodate a same-day request), they scanned the voucher and let me know it was only good for my first visit — very clear. Then came the fun part. The facial!!! The facial massage was great (Face Gym who?), and the extractions were so thorough. I used to always get facials, and this place is on par with some of the other places I’ve been to in NYC, SF, and LA. They definitely do ask if you want to upgrade (she asked me a few times) but it’s a business, I get it. I just politely said no thank you, and that was that. Very sweet, friendly staff by the way. The Groupon says gratuity and tax aren’t included, but that’s in the fine print and also on a sign at the front desk. Tax was ~$2? And then I tipped 20%+ because I really enjoyed the service. I would definitely recommend!

This place will scam you into paying for an upgraded service and then make you pay more for the original service plus the upgrade. The facial is good but be aware of what the final total will be before you agree to it. I would find another place on Groupon next time for a microdermabrasion rather than pay for the outrageously expensive one here.

Where should I start? Lol The facial itself left my skin feeling smooth and some blackheads were cleaned up, which is great. But the whole spa experience felt scammy and I wish I would have gone somewhere else. The beautician spent the entire session attempting to upsell on services even though I said over and over that I was only interested in the basic deep cleansing facial that I booked and came-in for. It was just a rotation of sales pushing from multiple attempts to pressure into additional masks and service, products, membership, and packages of multiple facials. Truly, she talked and pushed services, quoting prices - no exaggeration - the ENTIRE 60 minute facial and it was not a peaceful experience. I kept having to clarify that I was not subscribing to one of the many suggested services and only getting the one that I booked and repeatedly stated I wanted to receive, nothing more. And then she would end with “okay, think about it” before launching into another sales pitch lol 😩 She also got product in my eyes and wouldn’t wipe them for me until half way through the service. My eyes were burning the rest of the day and half of the following day. But then, when it was finally over, while paying (and being pressured to buy a spa package, yet again), they informed me that I NEEDED to tip 20% of “original” service rather than the 20% tip that I was giving on the service that I received lol. Being pressured to tip $20 for a $50 facial that was not even peaceful or enjoyable is why many of us just do our own self-care from home. Clean spa, kind humans, basic yet effective facial, but truly terrible business model and unpleasant experience. I would not recommend.

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE! ITS A SCAM! If I could give them negative stars I would. When I first came, they told me the treatment was a discounted price of $40+, but in the end they charged me three times the amount originally quoted. During the treatment, the lady repeatedly asked me to purchase their $109+ deal, even after I declined multiple times. She continuously asked me about my private life and then made rude comments about it. The whole experience was extremely uncomfortable. The worst part was during the facial, she kept pushing me to buy their special "promotion" all the while holding a needle against my face. The whole process was very unsatisfactory and uncomfortable. I also requested to have an application of sunscreen on afterwards and they all just ignored me!! In the end, they charged me $110+ for the treatment and forced me to pay the 20% tip for this horrible experience. I'm shocked this kind of place still exists in New York.
