Armmy - gave me the best pedicure ( Aloe Spa) and added chair massage I've ever had!. My gel toe polish with little 💕 hearts was so pretty. My second visit - I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!!!! Plan on getting multiple gift certificates for b-day presents.

I love going to J Blossom Nails! The staff is absolutely the best!! They’re kind, sweet, patient, and have the best attitude!! I have a couple issues with pricing though; if you get four nails with a special design, and the rest with an effect you will get charged for two separate things even though you’re not doing the design and effect an all nails. Also, men pedicures pay regular price, even without nail polish, and they will charge you extra for buff. Everything is extra and prices can get expensive but the work and employees are great. Best time to go is 12-3pm!

I went in for a dip set and explained to the technician that I am allergic to gel products and need to do acrylic to avoid a reaction. She suggested topping my nails with a gel top coat and I said no, that again I was allergic. There was no cuticle care done, and my nails were incredibly thick. I asked if she could file them down to not look so bubbly and I was told that because I didn’t want gel, they had to be this thick. I have gotten dip at multiple salons for several years and have never experienced this. I reminded her that it was not a matter of me not wanting gel, but that I have an allergy and cannot use gel products. I left unhappy with my nails and will not be returning. This is a beautiful salon but the blatant disregard for customer requests and safety are the reasons I do not recommend them.

I’ve been to this nail salon twice now, and every single time, the experience has been absolutely amazing. The staff is incredibly talented, and the cleanliness is impeccable. No matter how complex the nail designs I come up with, they always execute them perfectly, and the results are absolutely stunning. Every time I leave, I receive countless compliments on my nails! Yes, they can be on the pricier side, but it’s clear that they use high-quality products, and my nails have never been healthier while still looking absolutely ethereal. Although I don’t live in Chicago, every time I visit for business, this nail salon is one of my first stops. It’s truly a gem!

I came in for a no-chip manicure and pedicure and had a wonderful experience! Annie is amazing, especially when it comes to being meticulous and giving the best foot and shoulder massages. They use quality products, they do not rush and the ambiance is lovely. I love the flower wall and I love the fact that my Volcano pedicure came with a mask, paraffin wax and an extra foot massage!

I feel pretty mixed about this place. The least I can say I’ll give them their flowers, they do great on the work. On the customer service side not so much considering you are spending your hard earned money here. The first few times the girls are great, nice and friendly. The last time I had came the last girl was definitely different from the others and not in a good way. I had shown the girl a picture of the shape I wanted while she laughed in my face. Looking at her confused as to what was funny and stated to look at the pic and my nails that they aren’t that long I can’t do that. Seemingly confused I told her I want the shape not the nail. At the end the shape requested was achieve. I mean it’s just filling the side which anyone can do. Throughout the whole process, she just seemed to have a day. If you can over look the oddness of people sure go ahead.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: If you’re looking for gel overlay *removal*, please go elsewhere unless you want damaged nail beds! My sister and I have been here twice now and while my experiences were positive, both times for my sister were negative. The first time was a gel overlay, the second time was just a removal but it was unprofessionally done. Sadly, they over-drilled into her natural nail bed (which are normally *very* thick). See the picture for reference. They left her nails super thin, bendy, and sensitive. There’s patches of uneven drilling as well. We’ve done gel overlay before and the removal never left our nails looking like this. However, when we told the manager and original nail tech they said this is normal and denied a refund. The manager even said her nails also look like this and are painful after removal. I’m surprised because this means it is normal for this nail shop to damage your natural nails. Even when the manager removed my gel extensions, she clipped them harshly making the tips go flying and almost hit the girl sitting next to me. It’s sad because they are super kind here and the nail techs are really skilled at design. But I do not want damaged nails from unprofessional technique. ——- Original review of my first experience is below, which was luckily great. Speaking just on my personal experience with Kirsty who absolutely took my vision and ran with it while adding her own creative talent to give me a new set of winter nails! She was amazing at understanding what I wanted and suggesting different designs per nail. She got up multiple times to search for the exact decals I was going for and I was touched by her commitment to give me the perfect design. While there were some hiccups at the beginning which I’ll mention below, the staff were kind and I still got a great experience at the end. 1. They *do not* offer hard gel full extensions here. I checked on Instagram by messaging them and whoever replied said they do. And even though the website also says they do, when I sat down Kirsty asked the manager but manager said they only offer builder gel for repairs, not extensions. So I went ahead with gel x tips instead even though that’s not what I booked. Hope they can clarify this on their website and Instagram! 2. They will charge extra $5 per gem/pearl/decal removal. Not a big deal but I was just not told that before sitting down so FYI.

Nails were cute but one worker, specifically Sunny has terrible customer service. She was very aggressive to start with and had a terrible attitude towards me due to her lack of work practice. I also noticed she never changed her gloves before or after working on my nails and continued to use the same gloves while working on her next client. With the same gloves she used to cut, file & paint my nails she proceeded to give me a hand massage which was very unsanitary. During my service, she displayed angry behavior followed by many sighs, whines, and words that I could not understand because she was speaking in a different language angrily. She also got upset when I asked politely to fix a design on my nail, I personally am not paying 100$ for nails I'm not satisfied with. Nails overall felt very rushed & I hope future clients will not have to deal with this either.

Ruined my brand new Uggs by splashing oil and water on them. They handled my shoes very disrespectfully. The lady doing my pedicure was so very rude to me because I opted out of a spa treatment and requested a basic no chip pedicure. She then proceeded to talk bad about me to her colleague. When I went to pay she actually started to yell at me as I was calmly explaining the situation with my shoes and the service that I received. I’m so upset. I wish I’d never gone in there. The pedicure wasn’t even great after all of that. I’m basically out $175 for a pedicure because the shoes are really ruined. There’s no getting oil out of suede. Safe to say, I will not be going back.
