A fantastic spot! I’m shocked it wasn’t busier on a Friday afternoon. Had a great gel pedicure and got a 15 mins neck massage in one of those portable chair thingys where you face forward. The guy did such a good job with deep pressure and stretching too! Also, the pedicure chairs are a really fancy/new massage chair, super comfy. I’ll definitely be back 😄 Note: I noticed some other customers being super rude to the nail techs, sadly it’s common with some of the influencer/soho crowd. So take others reviews with a grain of salt! Lol

Fernanda did my gel manicure, she was very detailed and paid close attention to my nails , her habds are very relaxing and light, book with her!

Do not recommend! please spend your precious hard earned money elsewhere. First and foremost you walk in expecting great service because of the SOHO area. Next to nice restaurants and etc. They charge you $23 for a waterless manicure with CHEAP products. Besides not having a soak they put cheap products on your hand that stinks. Instead of wiping your hand with a towel they use a wipe like the Kirkland wipes in the tall round container. Everything in there they use is cheap and they charge a lot. Plus you have employees rolling eyes at you for no reason when you are respectful. The lady who took my payment got crazy because I didn’t want to tip but the service wasn’t worth it including the unnecessary facial expression. Plus because I didn’t want to tip the person who did my nails thought I was broke. I’ve been to waterless and water used salons WAYYY better & worth the price. This place just isn’t worth it. This honestly looks like a kid did it. I don’t recommend. I wish I saw prior customers reviews prior to coming they’re very disgusting & service customers.

I’ve been here for an upper lip wax and both times the waxing job left a scar on my upper lip. It was sore and red for days. Today I decided to go see if I could get a gel pedicure and fill in because I thought it would be convenient and I was in the neighborhood — I thought let’s see if their nail care would produce different results. I was greeted but as soon as I mentioned I wanted to get a fill in, the woman working dismissed me so rudely — “we don’t do fill ins” with a disgusted look, turned back to her task as if I’m less than to even ask such a wild question. So unbelievably rude. Will NEVER ever go back. Update: In response to this review the owner I attempted to embarrass me by accusing me of leaving a one dollar tip. For walking in and walking out? So now they are exposing how desperate they are—lying to rectify. Good on you to then go and delete the response. Wiser than I expected.

I’m suffering from excruciating pain from a frozen shoulder. The shiatsu massage I got here was painful but gave me relief instantly. I’m so grateful for the golden hands that cured my shoulder!

I work close by so stopped in to get a pedicure at the end of the day. I sat in the chair and asked for a gel pedicure only. I was offered additional service and specifically asked did this service include gel which the woman servicing me said yes. When I went to pay, I was charged an additional fee for gel. When I told the woman checking me out about my previous conversation with the women who serviced me she did not oblige or try to rectify the situation at hand. I even asked for the manager to no avail. The pedicure itself wasn’t that good. The paint job itself was subpar plus I had to ask her several times to reshape - in which she had to bring someone in for assistance. I won’t be going back again.

Got a mani / pedi here with my mom for my birthday. We booked in advance and the guy who did mine was RUSHING. Didn’t pick any dead skin off of my finger nail area and didn’t do my cuticles at all. I didn’t want to make a fuss at the time but 5 days later and the gel portion looks good but still so much dry skin around my nails unfortunately.

Not a good experience here. I came here for my birthday to feel relaxed and came out feeling upset and my thumb really hurt. The lady (she seemed to be one of the head ladies) who did my manicure and pedicure was not friendly. She cut so deep on my cuticles that she made me bleed and kept trying to cut around it- but she knew she hurt me. And then they had the audacity to ask for more tip. No! After you cut up my cuticles- I did not feel you all deserved anymore tip. Please do better and acknowledge a person.

Always welcoming and accommodating for walk-ins! My manicure looks perfect every time and lasts at least 10 days before chipping. Will continue to go back!

Excellent service..would highly recommend. Honest about pricing and services. Great pedicure and friendly. Shoulder massage was also good very firm and coupled with reflexology.

Feeling tired or exhausted, this is the best place I know to drop in and have about an hour or two hours rest. Soaking my feet in good and warm, sanitizing water really help me feel happy and relaxed. They moved to this place from 7- Lispenard street. They had been shuttered down during the covid 19.for a while. But now I'm so glad that I found they reopened here this place (1 minute distance from spring street subway Station ) Maria is the manicurist who has served me and my friends for many years since they opened . She always does great and perfect jobs for everybody.

I’ve gone to J’Spa a handful of times and always have a positive experience. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable for the area. They also gave me free socks on my last visit for a manicure!

J'spa was pretty good in overall - the space was clean, new, and staffs were friendly. The only thing that should be improve is the nail technician's skill. I did a regular manicure, they couldn't remove all dead skin and making the nail color look even. But the little hand massage was nice:D

$200 before tip and took 2.5 hours for a gel pedi and mani with extensions that chipped/one that completely broke off in less than 5 days. Nice people but criminal pricing and quality.

Everything that glitters is not gold—This is the embodiment of J’spa Soho. Extremely disappointed at my experience here. I came from jersey city to give this place a chance and I regret spending my hard earned money + tipping someone who worked lazy for theirs. I spent $130 for a mani and pedi and the nail technician did a terrible job and made no effort to make my nails and feet beautiful. First the pedi, the nail tech didn’t even ask how I wanted my water, when she was done removing my polish she put my feet in cold water. I asked her to make it hot and she tried I guess, but the chair/pedicure bowl I was sitting in the drain was not working. So instead of moving me to an actual chair/pedi bowl that works she preceded to pour the water out in the bowl next to us and filled in warm water not hot.My feet was submerged in the water for less than 3 minutes and my French tips are horrendous. (I would take a picture but I would have to embarrass myself along with this spa, so I’ll pass.) As for my manicure, it was rushed and not all my nails were doubled coated as you can tell in the picture below because it’s chipping and I got these done yesterday.Also, if you look really closely at my ring finger the nail tech scrapped me on the skin around my nails. I made sure to add J’spa lemongrass salt soak socks in the pic behind my chipping nails, so there’s no denial here.

Love this place. I moved out of NYC and fast forward 3 years later, they are still amazing as I remember. Took my boyfriend here for a mani/pedi and massage and let's say, Jspa team never disappoints. :) Highly recommend getting a massage with every service you get.

Nice spot, took away 1 star bc I had to hold my head as they waxed my eye brows. Don't know if they didn't have the proper set up just yet or if they didn't want to bring a male into a seperate room not sure but my neck was hurting for 2 days after smdh

This is the best massage in the city! Clean new space, reasonably priced and thoughtfully made rooms with extra sanitary touched. I've chosen J over other spas for years because the quality and value. J has served people you see on screen for a long time but chooses to not be flashy. He's that good and that down to earth.
