Julie made my hair dreams come trueee 🫶 She was so kind and friendly and overdelivered on my expectations! She gave me a consult and price at the start of my appointment and helped me to choose what exactly I wanted done. We went with a cool toned beige blonde and chocolate brown lowlights since I love contrast and dimension. This was my first time working with Julie and she was spot on with what I envisioned and knowledgeable on how to work with my hair. I’m so impressed with the results and safe to say I found my stylist 🔥 side note: there is free available parking at the salon and a coffee spot nearby! We love that.

I had amazing shampoo, cut, and blowout from Julie!! I love her suggestion of more wispy layers and she made it work with my hair (when other stylists tell me it won’t work for my thin hair). I love the look!! Definitely recommend and will be back again!!

Julie is amazing at what she does! Truly a hair artist and did such an amazing job matching the hair extensions to my natural hair! Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Her salon is also so pretty, I absolutely love the neutral colors and thank goodness there’s parking lol I’ll see you at my next appointment Julie!

I can't say enough amazing things about Julie. She has completely transformed my horribly dry and thin hair with extensions! She knows exactly what she is doing and she always informs me exactly what she thinks is best. If you want extensions done, I highly recommend Julie :)

I have been using Julie for my hair since 2014 when she worked at Carlson & very new. She told me she was starting her own business so I went to her & left Carlson. I have been more than a loyal customer to her- even give her 25,% tip all the time. I have an early morning appt & I was sick & off from work for couple days but I did not want to cancel last minute. I told her I would be late & but Julie just cancelled on me & cancelled all future appointments. Many many times she was late & I had to wait on her but this time - I was late- she cancelled on me abruptly. Julie has no loyalty to her loyal customers esp she is getting new customers. I was her customer since 2014 when she had no customers & starting out. I'm glad I found out how she is- will kick you to the curb because she thinks she is blowing up. What a fake! In response to Julie response- please stop the madness- I did not cancell on you- I was driving to your salon all the way from Chula Vista even though I was not feeling 100%but you cancelled on me Julie because I called to tell you I was going to be 15 min late. Of all the times you were late evenyou know I was flying from Houston. I help build your business=gave you more than 25% tip yet - at times gave you 50% tip. YOU cancelled on me last minute. And not only you cancelled on me- you cancelled all the appts all the way to end of year , &you said- you cannot see me again. All those times I was loyal to you from 2014 when you had NO client t, now that you have lots clients - you just dropped me. So please stop being fake- you don't know what loyalty is.

I highly recommend seeing Julie if you’re looking for a beautiful change in your hairstyle! It was my first time getting my hair colored and I saw her work on Instagram and immediately booked with her. Absolutely loved how my hair came out since then she’s been my hairstylist!🥰 Love her products and the great prices she has. My favorite products from her are the moroccan oil and living proof! I recently ordered from her website and her packaging was super cute. Everything arrived in great condition and within one day of ordering which I appreciated! I will definitely be ordering from her website again.

I have been searching for someone I absolutely love doing my hair in San Diego for almost 3 years, no one even comes close to Julie and her skills. Julie made me feel so comfortable and confident. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. I will definitely be coming back !!

I first saw Julie in 2015, at the time I had two babies. For so many years, since I was 17 I had box dyed my hair. I finally got to a point where I wanted to go back to my natural blonde and needed professional help. In that first visit Julie quelled all my fears and literally transformed my hair. I’ll admit, I’ve hiccuped a couple of times but I always come back to Julie to work her amazing magic on my hair! I’ve been blonde since and won’t be going back! I recently brought my Mom who in 57 years of life had never gone to a professional and I wouldn’t have trusted her with anyone but Julie! I’ve seen Julie grow into herself and her profession and fully expand her own brand with Beauty Creates Confidence , and I couldn’t be more proud to be her client and to be her friend! Now with four kids and a busy work schedule, Julie always maintains a flexibility that allows me to get in and leave with amazing results that always gear compliments. I found Beauty Creates Confidence through Yelp research. I went in for a dry bar style, but felt so comfortable with Julie that I got a haircut as well. She fixed a horrible haircut I had. THANK GOODNESS! I was so happy with my first haircut from Julie that went back for a second cut just a couple back. She gave me another amazing haircut and toned down my color without damaging my hair ( I should add that Julie did not do the original color). I am really excited to go back for a third cut and happy to share that I no longer have a bad cut or color. Julie fixed it all and I am glad I found a great colorist and hairdresser.

I found Julie via Yelp and visited her with my mom to fix my mom’s super damaged hair from a hairstylist that didn’t know how to do highlights and bleached her hair three times but only turned it into an orangey color. We were so worried that what if no one could fix my mom’s fragile and orange hair back to a blonde highlight, but thank god we met Julie and she turned my mom’s hair to exactly what my mom wanted without even damaging it! Ever since, my mom and I became her most loyal customers and we only trust Julie for color, highlights, haircut and styling. If you’re around San Diego, I highly highly recommend Julie and upon till now, Julie was one of my best kept beauty secrets but loving is sharing, so I’m putting myself out there and promising you that you won’t regret it :)

I love it here! have been going to a different hairstylist for years recently just started coming to beauty creates confidence and I’m so glad I did what a great experience not only did my hair come out the bomb.com each and every time I come, but I met/gained an amazing stylist who takes her time, cares for you, and overall just great customer service I highly recommend coming here!

Julie is such a wonderful person and a fabulous hair stylist! I’ve been seeing her for nearly five years and I wouldn’t have anyone else touch my hair. From cutting to dyeing, she always does exactly what I want, and styles it beautifully. I’ve had many different colors and hairstyles over the years (from a purple pixie to a blond bob, with many colors in between) all of which I have been so happy with. In addition to being a great stylist, she is also caring, funny, and lovely to talk to, so I always look forward to seeing her. I’m so lucky to have found Julie!

This is long over due. Julie has been cutting, coloring, putting in extensions, taking them out, toning/glazing, conditioning and everything else since Jan 2017 and she never disappoints. I’m not one to leave reviews so if I do, I mean it. I’m pretty sure she can do any look or style you want. I’m so grateful I found her and highly recommend her services. Hope you all check her out, you won’t be disappointed. One more thing... she doesn’t try to sell you stuff, of course if there is a product you need but never pushes anything and I respect that.

Where to even start! Julie is an artist. Her skills with the scissors are impeccable. She makes visions a reality. She is beyond precise when it comes to receiving the look you want. I recently went for a short hair style that I was truly desiring but was unsure if I was making the right choice especially since I’ve had long hair all my life. I absolutely LOVE how it turned out making me regret not going short SOONER. This girl knows her stuff. A true professional with passion for cutting and coloring hair. I have been showered with compliments about my hair thanks to Julie. She is now my permanent hair stylist. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone to execute the look they want.
