My hair looks fantastic, and even though it's not *exactly* like the picture (because everyone's hair is different!), I love the results! Highly recommend Danielle! ✨

Apparently the hairstylists here don't know how to use a reference photo to cut someone's hair. They don't take directions or suggestions well. I have been going here for three years and have tried over and over again to give each of the hairstylists a chance to cut my hair how I want it to be cut, and EVERY TIME they mess it up. This time, I asked for a choppy layered cut with curtain bangs and face framing layers. What did I get? A chin length bob with NO layers whatsoever, no curtain bangs, and a shattered confidence. The hairstylists copy and paste the same five hairstyles on everyone, their skills are limited. Do not go here unless you want a basic trim.

This review is for Dash. I followed her here from a previous salon. Dash is sooo skilled, able to cut AND color anything. She’s given me everything from a neon green blunt bob to delicately highlighted natural 90’s layers - truly a high priestess of hair. On top of that, she’s so friendly and chill. As an introvert, I really appreciate her energy. Highly highly recommended!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I went to Bonnie once and was extremely disappointed with my results. I asked for a purple-y milk tea blonde when my hair was already light blonde and she insisted on bleaching it again, then dyed it the most horrid gray color. When I expressed my concerns about it ageing me and not having the purple tint I asked for like the photo I showed her, she argued with me that it looked "exactly like the photo" even though it didn't and "fixed it" by toning my hair 5 TIMES to a nasty, dull dishwater blonde. My hair was extremely damaged by this point and I left incredibly unhappy. Months later, my hair is still suffering from the damage of her multiple toning sessions even though I just asked for brown to make things as simple as possible. While I cannot speak for the other girls at this salon, the fact that they work alongside Bonnie is disgraceful in itself and I pray that no one is subjected to the same treatment that I was. She was rude, disrespectful, and frankly I could have gotten a better result by spending $30 at sallys.

Amanda has been absolutely wonderful during my time coming to her. From sitting in the salon, other stylists do a fantastic job also. So thankful to be coming to June + Rae, never disappointed!

I love the Salon it’s clean, with employees that are very nice and professional. I have my hair done by Amanda. I love how my hair looks each time after seeing her. She always put a smile on my face! Definitely will be going back!

I love this place! I’ve never really had a go-to stylist before I met Amy. She’s been amazing and I love going to her! I have short, sometimes unmanageable hair and she’s been great about teaching me to style it and has always listened to what I want. I’ve been back several times and will continue to come back

I’ve been to this hair salon multiple times. Each time I go I’m never disappointed because my hairdresser Amanda Ek always brings a smile to my face because of how amazing my hair looks. All workers here are so kind and caring. Hair salon is always clean and a great atmosphere.

I have been going to Bonnie for over two years now and could not be more happy. Bonnie does an excellent job with color and cuts. I go in for services every 6 weeks and have never been disappointed. Very knowledgeable about products, colors and processes. Communicates well and is always so friendly and in great mood. I would recommend Bonnie to any of my friends.

This is my second time going to June and Rae and I absolutely LOVE my hair cut and color. Amanda is the absolute best and always understands exactly what I’m going for. I will never go anywhere else in SD!

I have had my hair cut twice here by Amanda Ek and she is fantastic! She is sweet and personable and she has brought my hair back to life! My hair is thick and wavy/curly. First cut I went from very long to very short (I donated it). Second time was a maintenance cut to keep it in a short, curly bob. She is deva cut certified so she knows how to work with wavy/curly hair of all kinds (mine is about 3A if you're familiar with curly girl method ratings). She gave me product and care recommendations and even provided a cup of coffee! The salon is very nice, clean, easy to get to and there is free parking right in front of the salon. I've also seen other clients looking great while leaving the salon. Highly recommend!

Avoid this hair stylist at all costs. My fiancee got her hair done here and the color faded after a mere two weeks. We contacted the owner about the poor quality of service and the owner rudely blamed my fiancee for the color fading. We asked that the job be redone and the owner started demanding we pay for another coloring. Rude, unprofessional, and unbelievably poor management. Go elsewhere, you're probably better off purchasing box coloring from the store.
