My daughter and I did a double treat then Thai dinner afterwards. Carol is one of the most gifted stylists I've had the pleasure of caring for our hair. Demands at work/goals made it hard to keep up, but I'm so glad she remains dedicated to her craft! We are longtime clients for life!

A hidden Gem in Bedstuy. I chopped my 4 1/2 years of locs off due to my scalp being damaged. Baby it was a mess. Ms. Carol was very welcoming and knowledgeable. She asked questioned and walked me through the process of strengthening back my hair to being healthy. Very satisfied of the outcome today, she even makes her own hair products(which I purchased of course). I'm scheduled to return next month. Can't wait!!!

For full transparency - we did not use this salon. We called the salon prior to our consultation, letting the owner know that we have been looking for months for a new stylist and that my kiddo really needed some help with her hair. As most people know we are still coming out of the pandemic and it's not as easy to get services! The owner, Carol, completely humiliated my almost 13 year old who went in for a consultation. My kiddo has EXTRA thick course hair, type 4C. It was detangled but apparently not to Carol's standards so she cracked a sarcastic joke to make her clients laugh and completely humiliated my kid. She needs lessons in professionalism and humility. No teenage girl should go through that. Carol, you deserve 0 stars for shaming a 12 year old girl. And you should not advertise that you can work with all hair textures as per our conversation on the phone.

I asked to cut/trim one Inch. They chopped out my hair. I have curly hair I made sure and told several times. They just chopped out. I don't know what to do now my hair is too short. Don't trust them

I went twice to Just Because. It is worth going to the salon coming from Queens. It is also easy for me because I work in the area. Already my natural hair feels healthy because of their natural products. I 'm very satisfied with the natural products . I used the 8oil and now the spray. I look forward to my next appointment.

Just Because HTS is rightly named. Not just because she slays, but the Customer care and hair care services have twice blown me away. Master Stylist Ms. Carol takes special care of hair and is very knowledgeable, professional, and passionate at what she does. Her products are top of the line and my hair literally drank up everything she used, which I learned from a cosmetologist once that that's a true sign your hair likes a product. On top of her creativity, she has a nice personality and vibes to top it all off. I hit Hair Salon Jackpot Gold when I landed at this Oasis.👍🏽😉

AMAZING!! I have been going to Just Because Salon for over a decade and it is the ONLY place I trust with my hair. Carol truly knows natural hair care and has kept my hair healthy and strong throughout the years. She especially knows how to do a silk press without any heat damage. The atmosphere in the salon is comfortable and friendly. Everyone is warm and welcoming and they are attentive to the needs and wants of the customer. Truly like family to me.

I do really love the service I received from Carol and as a stylist she went above and beyond the call of duty, offering deep conditioning treatments and more. She did an excellent job with my daughter's hair as well, which is long and curly and a blow out was requested. We are both very happy with the Just Because Salon and continue to go back. She seems to be very good at her craft.

I was really happy with the service, consideration and care I received. I haven’t had my hair professionally done since 2019. I received a scalp treatment and my scalp feels clean and nourished. I will absolutely be going back again.

The Just Because Salon is absolutely fantastic! The stylists are extremely talented, professional and thorough. Since I have been coming here my hair has grown and become healthy. During my first appointment Carol, the owner, took time to have a consultation with me, discussed my hair goals and literally made a plan for me to attain them. She is extremely knowledgeable and creative. She has a wonderful line of organic products, St. Charles Haircare, that have really transformed my hair. I love this salon and I’m so happy to call it my haircare home. I’m a routine customer and have appointments once a month. My hair is natural and I have been able to see a huge difference in how thick, full and moisturized my hair is now compared to before I started coming. My appointments always start on time and I leave feeling happy and excited to wear my new hairstyle. The salon is in a great location. The decor and ambiance make you feel welcomed and pampered. Many salons claim to specialize in natural hair but the Just Because Salon actually are experts. I am happy that for the first time I have a salon and a place to get hair products that are meticulously hand crafted. I can’t wait until my next appointment!

After 7 years of not going to a stylist, I decided to look for somewhere. I chose this salon after reading the awesome reviews. I did a consultation with Carol,and I was immediately sold on her professionalism and her interestin my health and lifestyle regarding my hair. It didn't matter to me that I would have to travel over 2 hours to get there..It was well worth it,I received not only a awesome scalp treatment but education on what I need for my hair.Carol made me feel like we are a team on my hair journey, and Im so happy to have found her. I will be back next month ,in the meantime I will use my products I purchased from her to maintain my hair ..

I have been to quite a few beauticians over the years, and I've had a lot of bad experiences which resulted in me avoiding the process of getting my hair done professionally all together and my hair paid the price. This was my first time visiting the 'Just Because' salon, what brought me there was a promotion offered between the Mayveen Hair company and the salon. When I saw the Salon I was pleasantly surprised at the appearance , the window was decorated beautifully for the holidays and it was very welcoming. I walk in and I was immediately greeted enthusiastically with smiles and a genuine desire to help me. Any anxiety that I felt about trying a new salon quickly melted away. My appointment was for 11 and they started on me immediately, no wait and I was done before 2:00. I felt so comfortable and cared for. I have never felt that in a salon, people will take your money for a service then show you zero respect. Not at Just Because salon, they highly value their clients and their reputation. With that said I definitely will be returning and recommending this establishment to as many people as possible. I also absolutely loved my hair!
