Called to set an appointment and was told to put deposit down through vemo or cash app. Stated I did not want to send deposit through third party, instantly hangs up phone in my ear. Very Unprofessional.

Do not recommend - painful massage. Surprised that there was no form at intake asking for sensitive areas or pressure preference. Having had massages at local spas as well as independent masseuses over my 15 years in the city this is the worst most painful massage I've ever received. I did give feedback a number of times that the pressure was too strong - literally grimacing through the session, I left in pain. My skin was sore to touch for the rest of the day and even into the next, so much so that I checked for bruising. This place may be for you if you like painful pressure applied in your massage, otherwise go elsewhere.

This place was ok and a bit chilly. The massage tables are not heated & only a thin blanket is provided. The ladies were impatient but thorough with the services provided. The facial was nice but no explanation of steps or products used.May be good to ask about allergies or interactions. Loved the hot stones & my therapist did ask if the pressure was good. Definitely won’t let you leave until you tip, and if it’s not enough they let you know. They want about $20 per person. So be prepared, they do have Venmo. Not impressed enough to return and parking was $30.

1-star because the massage was just ok, I didn't leave feeling any more or less relaxed, It was the distasteful actions of the masseuse that I found to be very unprofessional. After the massage I used the bathroom and when I walked out of the bathroom and turned the corner the masseuse came up to me and said "tip" with her hand out rubbing her fingers together. It was just such an off putting and distasteful action, I can guarantee I won't be back. *Response* First appointment 12/18

Excellent strong massage. They didn't ask what problems spots I had nor how strong I wanted the massage but thankfully my whole body hurts and I like a really strong massage so this was perfect.

I’ve been here twice now and it’s by far the best massage I’ve ever received, and I’ve gotten plenty at many different places and the service here exceeds my expectations every time. My masseuse was very knowledgeable about all of the pain areas and did not miss any areas. I left feeling very relaxed and my body feels amazing. If you want a true deep tissue massage, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Your responses to customers who've had unfavorable experiences are quite tone deaf, and have convinced me to skip your establishment. There are several alternatives close by. You don't seem concerned about that.

Nancy gave me the most hardest, strongest deep tissues massage I ever had. When I say pain is pleasure, I mean it. Ot was amazing! Very professional and nice facility! I got the Groupon voucher which was great value. But I tipped her what I saved. She deserved it! Only negative thing is their reservation (perhaps Groupon ones) rule. They don’t allow you to reschedule or cancel it. So you’re forced to come even if something happens to you. That’s very discouraging and it devalues customer service.

10/10 couples massage. So relaxed with background nature sounds. We were running late to our appointment about 15 minutes and we’re assured on the phone it was not a problem. When we arrived we were greeted and taken to the couples room. Massage was so relaxing I fell asleep about mid way for a few minutes. Hot stones were the perfect temperature, and our hour massage was respected even with our tardiness. Nice, accommodating, and we’re even given a complimentary cup of water on our way out.

Wow! I am visiting and went here two times. I had the best foot massage I’ve ever had with Nancy. I can’t even imagine how phenomenal her full body massage is. The spa is clean, peaceful and the staff is very nice. Don’t hesitate! And call in advance if possible.

I feel pretty misled by the good reviews. I won’t be back here. Came for a couple’s massage. They don’t ask any questions up front about any problem areas you might have, which is in my opinion unprofessional. Any other establishment I’ve been to, they ask so that they make sure they don’t hurt you. And these ladies were ROUGH, so that might have been good to ask. They don’t seem to care though. They seem to care more about getting you in and out. They even have a loud timer that goes off when your time is up. Never experienced that before. I had to ask mine to lighten up on the pressure. And once I did, she was great (still a bit painful at times, but overall much better). But for someone who isn't confrontational, this could be an awkward and ultimately painful experience. It would be better for the massage therapists to elicit this information up front. The acoustics here are also bad if you’re trying to relax (which is ironic given the name of the spa). We could hear EVERYTHING going on in the shop - including the loud and consistent moaning of the man in the next room. Very strange and suspect. I’m giving it 3 stars (instead of 2 or 1) because my massage was decent. I felt good and loose afterward. My boyfriend, however, was in pain afterward.

We got a Groupon as a gift for a couples massage. They don't ask about problem areas but if you have them I'm sure if you tell them first they'll be fine. They did ask about pressure and temperature of the stones. Mine was fine. Someone had a cell phone go off in another room we could hear it. Not a huge deal. There is a timer that goes off to signal the end -also not a big deal for us. My husband fell asleep halfway through. Good experience for sure. Parking can be tricky but just give yourself time.

As a loyal customer of this business for >1 year, I am deeply saddened that the first time I have had to cancel an appointment due to illness (literally was vomiting out of nowhere), the business was not accomodating. This was also the first time out of many visits that I was asked to put down a pre-visit deposit of $40, and when I asked for a refund due to our cancellation, the answer was no. They also would not use our deposit toward a future appointment when I felt better, only if I put down an additional $80. I feel scammed out of $40. Save yourself the money and headache of this management company and go to Healing Hands instead. ** in response to their response* There was not a minimum time to cancel appt in the rules of getting deposit back, they only said non-refundable if you miss your appointment or if you are very late to the appointment and they can’t accommodate. I can understand wanting to secure appointments, but clearly they lack respect for repeat customers who have never cancelled, been late, or missed appintments before. Will be taking my business elsewhere (there are plenty of other great massage places in Philly - Healing Hands as an example) and they don’t require a sketchy Venmo security deposit for an appointment :) or you can go and vomit on their floor if they’d rather that

Me and my husband bought the 50 min couples deep tissue massage with hot stones through groupon. Thanks to Nancy and Jenny (hope i got the names right), they were great therapists and had applied the perfect amount of pressure for both of us. We will definitely come back! Not to mention they are punctual in their timings, so try and come a little early if you use a car as you may need time to find parking.

This place never disappoints with their massages. Been here for the past 2.5 years many times and I am alway very happy with my massage every time. They give very thorough deep tissue massages and really try to knead away any muscle knots. If you are someone who prefers lighter massages, then you will need to ask the masseuse to decrease their intensity because they specialize in deep tissue massages. The space is very clean and inviting. The masseuse and front desk person are always very nice and professional. I have never had a bad experience with them and always feel welcomed. I have tried many other places and always end up coming back here. It truly is my favorite massage spa.
