Prepaid for appt ($100), made the drive to center city in traffic and he was a no show. A waste of money and time. He might be a good massage therapist but I didn’t get a chance to experience it since he no showed the appt. Very unprofessional. I called and texted when I arrived and he did not respond and his phone went straight to voicemail

This review is purely operational. The appointment booking process for this business is more excruciating than the back pain driving me to seek the massage in the first place. The websites are riddled with multiple text and info boxes that have only spit back error messages with every submission attempt. Audaciously, the website presents the option to pay for services without even scheduling anything. The phone number is disconnected, and even my email bounced back. I would think this business to no longer exist if not for recent reviews by others who somehow managed to figure out how to schedule something!

He requires you to call beforehand to get into the building but doesn’t answer the phone. I arrived 10 minutes early, called and texted several times over the next 20 minutes, never got a response, and eventually left.

I never had a massage. Justin cancelled by email 30 minutes before my appointment. I was in town visiting and it took a lot of planning to find time for a massage. I didn’t realize that his appointments were optional. I took an Uber both ways because I didn’t realize it was cancelled before heading there. It’s not a great neighborhood and it’s a private apartment in a residential building but for some reason his name is not listed on the call box. A security guard let me in and wasn’t surprised that he had cancelled my appointment last minute. I would recommend scheduling a massage with someone else.

Extremely unprofessional. I booked through the portal and prepaid for massage services scheduled for 6/4 at 2:45 p.m. I was just about to head out the door when I unexpectedly received a cancellation email at 1:59 p.m. I received no communication via call or text to explain why there was a sudden cancellation. I've submitted a claim through my credit card company since they did not address my need for a refund. After this incident, I can't help but question the validity of the other positive reviews. I certainly wouldn't expect such a lack of responsibility from a professional service provider, especially one in charge of my well-being.

I had the most incredible prenatal massage ever at Justin Shelley's! I really wasn't as miserable during my pregnancy because to it. The therapist was so kind and encouraging; I felt like they had my back the whole time. After that, I felt so relieved and at ease. It was just what I required. I heartily endorse it!!

Absolutely terrible experience!!! The PHOTOS LOOK NOTHING like the store, actually the store is inside of his apartment which was to my surprise. When I arrived to my appointment not only could I not find the store, I repeatedly called the business line and it went straight to voicemail!! When I went to other shops on that street they did not even recognize that business and warned me not to trust it! I was finally able to get the owner on the phone and when I asked him if his shop was in his apartment he confirmed. I expressed that I would not attend my session because his website is misleading and I am not comfortable going inside his apartment. Overall I would not recommend going to this place.

I had pain in my legs - possibly sciatica - and went to Justin 4 times to help relieve the pain. His work was great and very effective. Now I am pain-free and thank Justin for this. I plan on doing a follow-up with him for preventive-pain management.

I have been to countless therapists and no one has come close to this level of relief. Justin is gentle and caring, but also aware of what your body needs. I can’t find any other things to say except that if you want mind and body relief that you have to come see him Amazing.
