This review is based on booking Kayce for my wedding on 9/13/24: Firstly, I should have trusted my gut and booked elsewhere but preparing for a wedding overruled my better judgment. I would not recommend booking Kayce for events. When contacting the salon, I mentioned that I and 8 others needed hair done for my wedding, I was surprised that Kayce asked for a $250 deposit. This was before a trial and the cost down was for everyone involved. I understand putting a deposit down to hold the date but paying that amount before I knew if I would like her work seemed strange. 1st trial: I wasn't sure what I wanted for the first trial, so I opted for a half-up/half-down style. I have very thick, virgin hair, and I don't get it styled often. Right off the bat, Kayce was having issues getting curls to stay. I didn't like the end result, so she suggested a Hollywood Wave instead, and we scheduled another trial to achieve that look. 2nd trial: The next trial was for the Hollywood Wave, and the curls held even less. After the attempts at this style still didn't work, Kayce suggested I color my hair, so we booked a balayage and additional trial. 3rd trial: Before this appointment, Kayce texted me that I could get my deposit back if she couldn't figure out curls. So, I went into this appointment with little hope, and I only proceeded with it because of the possibility of getting my money back. After she colored and dried my hair, she tried using a beach waver for the first time to see if a different tool could solve the issue. This was the best result so far, but still not what I wanted. The Hollywood Wave style was so far gone that I wasn't even sure what style she was going for, and I felt so defeated that I just wanted my hair to curl. Since my hair was partially curled, getting my deposit back was not mentioned, so I felt stuck and didn't have the time or money to find another option. 4th trial: This was the last appointment I had scheduled before the wedding, so my stress levels and patience were running thin. The balayage was touched up, and the wedding day style was attempted again with the beach waver. During the styling, Kayce clearly didn't know how to use the curling tool well enough and burned my ear. Keep in mind that my wedding was four days away, and the style would expose that ear for the wedding day, meaning I would now have to ask the makeup artist I hired to cover up the burn with makeup. Wedding day: On the morning of the wedding, one of my only concerns was how my hair would turn out. I told one of my bridesmaids to bring her own supplies in case things needed to be touched up before the ceremony as a last resort. As Kayce completed everyone else in the party, I asked them if they liked their hair, and after some nudging for them to be honest, no one did. One by one, styles turned out flat and lost all volume. So, at this point, I knew my hair wasn't the issue since every bridesmaid had different hair types, and Kayce did not achieve the looks they wanted either. I was devastated and upset, knowing that my money was wasted, and the gift I offered of covering my party’s hair was for nothing. Then came my turn, and again, the style fell shortly after finishing my makeup, so I had Kayce put some finishing touches on myself and a few other bridesmaids before she left. Even still, my bridesmaid had to curl and spray my hair more before the ceremony. Unfortunately, I think Kayce knew that would happen because as she left, she jokingly said, "Don't even let me know if your curls stay," which wasn't exactly the best thing to hear on your wedding day when you're already a nervous wreck. Pros: -Color for balayage was done well Cons: -Kayce answered personal calls during every appointment -Kayce repeatedly said she's never run into issues styling hair before, making me feel like she was blaming me for her inexperience -Cost was over $1,000 with tips; too high for end results being sub-par -Reviews are deceiving as the salon runs gift card contests for clients that leave 5 star reviews

I have been going to Marcaria for a couple years now and she has always done an excellent job! She never rushes and spends the time to make sure your hair is exactly what you wanted. I would recommend her to anyone!

I have fine hair that has always kept me from trusting too many stylists but I trust and love Sydney so much that I now bring my six year old daughter to get her hair trimmed -she loves chatting with Sydney as much as I do! Very reasonable prices, great atmosphere and the staff is wonderful!

I took my 17-year-old daughter for a hair cut/trim. It was easy to schedule the appointment, she got in on time, and her stylist was friendly and chatty with her. She put my daughter at ease, listened to what she wanted done, and offered advice.

Love this salon! Really nice space and atmosphere and the girls are all friendly. I moved here 3 years ago and was lucky to find Macaria. She listens to my requests and gives advise, which is appreciated. I highly recommend Just in Kace!

Sydney has been doing my hair since she was in cosmetology school. She is amazing, I change my mind about my hair constantly and she always accommodates me but also tells me when something I want wouldn't be good for my hair. I would never go anywhere else. The vibes at the salon are immaculate and all of the girls are so sweet and kind. I always feel comfortable there. Prices aren't bad either! I will always recommend Sydney and the salon to everyone!

After trying out multiple different stylist at different salons i have finally found someone i can trust and love going to! i’ve seen sydney about 3 times now. i don’t see myself going to anyone else. she always listens to what i want and makes miracles happen. i started with brown hair on my journey back to bleach blonde. every stylist i had went to i always came out with the same color and never got any lighter after 2 years. After 3 appointments with sydney i am exactly where i want to be in my blondeing journey. i highly recommend her and the salon!

Amazing salon! Easy to use online appointment scheduling. Love the text reminders as well. Beautiful salon with a very comfortable homey feel. As for my stylist, Macaria has been taking care of my hair for over 7 years and I can’t express enough how amazing I feel every time I leave her chair. I always get tons of compliments after every appointment and I have never once not been stunned at the transformation she creates.

I became obsessed with Kaycee when I followed her online. I knew I needed to get an appointment! And now she has become a regular part of my beauty maintenance! I cant let anyone else touch my hair. Kaycee has taken my hair from super dark to extremely blonde, to a cowboy copper, BACK to blonde. And she does it all with my hair’s health in mind. She takes her time to ensure I get the best results.

Pricing is so much more reasonable compared to my last salon. Salon is smaller, but is so cute and has such an amazing vibe. Everyone was such a delight to be around I will definitely return!

Macaria is so talented, patient, and precise with the brow tint! I have such blond, almost white eyebrows, and she took the time to come up with the perfect shade that fit me. I would highly recommend the brow tint and her! Also, the location of the salon is perfect!!
