I never leave Juut not happy! Great atmosphere with talented staff. I’ve been going to Craig for years but decided to try our Elijah and he impressed me! He even took some extra time to style my hair. Having someone who loves their craft is appreciated and showed through their work.

I have lived the worst day of my life. A nightmare for many women. The day where someone you trust hacks all of your hair off. I wish this would end for us, alas, the least I can do is share my story in hopes you, the reader, avoids this heart wrenching experience. I love my colorist. She is hands down the best. I asked for her recommendation and was told “everyone is good!” So I booked a haircut with Samantha. She’s a “master artist” and quite frankly, I’m seriously shocked she is allowed to wield scissors under Juut’s good name. Pictures say it all… below you can see I had substantial length. Length I’ve paid thousands over the years to keep. It was time to get about 4-5 inches trimmed off. I wanted a clean square look. So after pouring over pictures forever. I settled on the one which fell below the breast area, straight, blunt, zero layers. Apparently this was too much to ask for from a “master stylist” charging $110 for a haircut. She took at least 11 inches off my hair, layered it in an outdated haircut I wouldn’t want to see on my grandma. Whereas in the pic her hair falls to below her breast, where 24 hours ago so did mine.. my locks curl around my jaw in a disgusting short twist. I hate it so much I live in a bun. The feel of my hair bunched around my shoulders makes me cringe. I cannot WAIT for this trashy mess to grow out. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Want me to draw you a picture? Oh wait! I SHOWED you one! They say a pic is worth a thousand words… clearly, it takes more than that for someone like Samantha to catch on. Run away! She had last minute openings for a reason, and it’s NOT GOOD.

Omg where to begin. Whole experience was awful! And their business model is an absolute ripoff. Front girls need training, couldn’t even complete a basic scheduling. Towards The end of booking my appointment the girl kept saying um and didn’t finish sentences and was laughing. Girl cuts my hair and didn’t do what I asked, didn’t even cut layers, which was the main thing I emphasized. I literally could’ve done what she did at home. Pre booked an appointment for a color but the colorist was like doing a consultation during my cut and was going back and forth asking me questions during my cut and never really gave me a confirmation on the appointment. I was so mad about my cut I just wanted to get the F out there. I pay $200 with $350 on a gift card I got. $200 just to cut the bottom half of my layers off! Then got a $250 charge on my card for the color appointment I missed. I honestly forgot about it because I got no confirmation, usually places will send a text or a call but nothing from them, The manager said that was only a courtesy, and that it was my responsibility for the appointment, which I understand to a certain extent, but I got no confirmation to begin with. Explained The situation to the manager, but said that’s their cancellation policy and she couldn’t do anything about it, even after I said I still wanted the color service done and I have the remainder of the gift card I wanted to use. Still nothing was done. So I basically paid $450 for a trim. I feel like this is such a scam! Don’t waste your time and money booking a cut and color separately! This is how they overcharge you! Find an artist that will do both for the price of one of “juut” services.

I went in for an eyebrow tint and wax. Elizabeth is amazing. She made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. It was like I was meeting up with an old friend. She made my brows look so good and made me feel so confident. I will for sure be going back to Juut Wayzata to see Elizabeth!

I had wanted to love it. I didn’t. Bad haircut that is not growing well. I asked for a shorter cut, but the stylist insisted that she wouldn’t do it because she didn’t know my hair. I ended up needing to pull my hair up pretty much right away, something I only need to do after my hair has grown too much, which I specifically said I wanted to avoid. Plus, when I do, I get random strands dropping on the sides. I wouldn’t be too upset if I had paid Great Clips price, but for over $100 I expect to get something decent. EDIT: after reading of others’ negative experiences, I can confirm my impressions that this salon is full of snobs who judge people by their looks, as if that was an indicator of income or class.

I love the friendly atmosphere and I always feel that this my family when I walk through the door. Everyone is very welcoming. Sadie is wonderful and knows exactly how I want my hair to look. She is beautiful and has a big heart. She is very professional and I love seeing her.

The Wayzata JUUT is wonderful, but what I like most about my experience is the stylist that I have the the privilege of working with - Mara Kormbacher. Mara is excellent at her work, and consistently so. I always have a terrific cut when I leave and yesterday's experience was no different. She listens and she uses her own artistry to create a refined result. I am impressed with the precision of her cuts. She is the first stylist that I have had that when I get home: 1) I can recreate the style on my own, after a wash (it's never quite as good, but I come close), 2) when the hair grows out, the cut still holds and looks good, 3) I don't have to trim any pieces on my own (something I've experienced for years, and just assumed was part of having short hair), and 4) she teaches me how to use product and styling equipment. As someone who has moved quite a bit across the country for work and has tried many stylists over the past 20 years, Mara is second to none. I feel lucky that I have found her!
