I was price 189 when I got there the young lady told me 200 the whole time I was there not once did the 2 young ladies ask me was I ok the whole time speaking their language right in my ears that is very rude

DON’T GO HERE!! I’ve been coming to Kady African Braiding for so many years. I was very hesitant with getting this hairstyle but me putting the trust in them I went for the butterfly locks. I get to my appointment on time. The lady completed two rows ONLY and said if it was okay, I said yes. Keep in mind two rows ain’t shit to tell if you like a style or not! She gets closer to finishing my hair and explains I need more hair. I told her well whoever I was texting told me it was enough hair for a minute she was going back and forth with me. I just said I will go get more hair. She finished some of the front of my hair and ask me to go get more hair and can I pay. Mind you I never did this before as many times as I went to Kadys. I went to go get the hair and people explain to me in the hair shop that my hair doesn’t look like the butterfly locs and proceeded to help me find the best hair to fit the style. I got to my car. I looked in the mirror called my sisters and my sister said what hairstyle is that and I’m looking at crazy as well and I’m like it’s so damn heavy and super tight!!! I get back to the shop I explained I don’t like my hair and can we take down the style and try something new. Kady very disrespectful and rudely blurts out no we can’t, that’s taking time away from us. I then said well can’t I get my money back $250 she tells me no. I ask her well can we do braids she tells me no. I had to call the police and couldn’t get my money back so now I have to take her to court and I proof to show in the reviews that she gave people a refund and didn’t even take the hair down! Mind you I left with hair not done! No $250 back no half of the amount nothing. My next step is too sew and have all my proof and evidence ready including pictures and receipts. I already spread the bad and disgusting behavior to so many people, & even the cop thought it was crazy and messed up but unfortunately this is how the law works, but what won’t work for me is picking and choosing who to give a refund to. I didn’t even leave the damn salon yet and they were not willing to work with me to fix the hairstyle or try something different just DISGUSTING!

Had small Senegalese twists done and I am very happy with them. The twists look amazing, everybody was professional and friendly, great prices. My hair is tight and well trimmed, but not unbearable or too tight that it adds extra stress to my edges. I will definitely be going back

Since I have been coming here for almost a year, I’ve never had anything less than a superb experience. Ms. Shelley and the other ladies are really nice, they speak to you and they are funny. I have not had a bad experience at all. I’ve gotten Senegalese twist, micros, crochets and cornrows. I don’t plan on going anywhere else unless I move from San Antonio. Keep up the great work ladies!!!

My Hairstylist is Shelly. Shelley has been doing my hair for about 9 months now. I’ve been to a number of stylists around San Antonio, and Shelly is the only one who know how to do you’re hair the exact way you desire. Shelly is was professional, gives great aftercare advice. Locs, Braids, Twists (all types). Shelly at Kady’s Braiding on Ingram rd can do it all.

Actually I rate this establishment negative 10 stars. Very unprofessional having to go back and forth with a stylist over what she should know how to do. Especially when you are charging $175 dollars for it. I asked several times if she knew how to braid like the pictureThere is no resemblance whatsoever. And it took 6 1/2 hours to do a horrible job. She says her name is Alfie but I think she lied.

Evette in chair 04 at the Ingram location is the bomb with braids and twists, her work is so neat. I’ve been to the shop multiple times and I think she’s my favorite! However, they all do good work so don’t be afraid If Evette (chair 04) is booked.

I have been going to this location since 2015! They are always willing to help choose protective hair styles for those with natural hair and will give you guidance on hair and/or products needed! Shelly is always great and makes me leave cute as always! This particular style is butterfly locs!

I love this place! Been coming here for years. It’s near my house and all the braiders there are skilled and professional. The appointments are always on time. I go to Shelly and she does a fantastic job! I’m fortunate to have found this place. I used to go to people’s houses and that got real old and at times a little dangerous. So, being at a salon is great!

Sometimes they do great, sometimes ok. What I don’t like is when you book, they have numbers not names and Im not sure if one person uses the same number all the time which could be the reason why sometimes its great and sometimes its not. Their prices are better than most. The hair selection is limited so they don’t have brown. Everybody doesn’t have black hair. And they only take $10 off if you have to buy your own hair despite the fact that they say hair is included and $10 barely buys 2 packs of hair depending where you get it.

I was very disappointed with my hairstyle once I got home because in the back when she was do the did a knot and didn't cover area, I did mention I wanted to be able to do a ponytail so I can keep my hair neat. I was ignored and 4 of the hair fell off. I took pictures.
