I went to the salon to do my eyebrows and after sitting there for half an hour with no response from the manager if they can do my eyebrows or not, only to be told they won't able to help me and I should come back the next day. I was very disappointed of how my experience was and wouldn't go back there

No natural hair care skills for black and also lack of knowledge in the black beauty industry walked in for a wash and blow-dry and was told by a specialist that it would take too long because of my hair and then tried to come back later and it was just a lot of non-afrocentric people working the new how to washing condition natural hair for black

Soy clienta de esta escuela hace muchos años, por primera ves salgo tan triste y disgustada, porque NO tuve respuesta positiva de la Maestra de nombre Cielo que imparte un̈as, he votado mi tiempo y mi dinero, porque aunque son estudiantes, la maestra esta para enseñar y asegurarse que el cliente salga satisfecho. Ella NO le importo que me destruyeran mis un̈as con la lima y se nego a colocarme otra estudiante con mas conocimiento o experiencia para que saliera satisfecha, me voy muy triste porque los duen̈os de esta escuela al igual que la Maestra Paola de Peluqueria les encanta que sus clientes y mas de muchos años como yo salgan satisfechos, que tristeza lo de esta Maestra de nombre Cielo que no tenga esa misma vision y deseo de ayudar. Se los comparto este review para que esten al pendiente si van a venir a esta escuela Kaisen en Pembroke Pines o a estudiar un̈as o arreglarselas😮‍💨

100% customer satisfaction!! I came to Kaizen Beauty after I attempted to color my own hair at home. I completely messed it up and needed a major repair. Elly and Angela, two students, began with a consultation to determine what I wanted and what I would be able to achieve with the hair color I had already done. As students, they are closely monitored by their supervising instructors and the ladies did not make a move until first confirming their plans step by step with their teachers. If you are worried about their experience, don’t be! Because in reality they were more professional and knowledgeable than many hair stylists I’ve been to over the years. Their instructors are doing a fantastic job preparing them for their careers! The ladies were able to help me achieve a beautiful copper red, toned blonde and honey brown color in a trending style known as the “calico” color. I thought I wouldn’t be able to make the colors happen, but they did an excellent job evening out the bleach mess I had made in my hair, toning my money pieces, and the copper color I achieved is absolutely beautiful! After a shampoo and rinse, the ladies blow dried my hair and, needless to say, I was stunning! They worked together very well and I was able to achieve the look in under 2.5 hours! Thank you Ely and Angela for my fantastic new look!! I 100% recommend considering services of all kinds with these very talented students!!

Me tomo este momento para dar mi más hermosa opinión de esta maravillosa escuela en la estuve obteniendo mi título de cosmetologia agradecida con el personal q en parte se convirtieron en familia y me ayudaron a convertirme en la peluquera q me he convertido tanto mi teacher q me llevo de la mano aprendiendo cada momento gracias teacher por ser tan incondicional y especial como teacher y persona muchas cosas buenas para esta hermosa escuela 🏫

Are you looking for a great salon experience at a great price? You MUST go to Kaizen Beauty Academy in Pembroke Pines!! I went in with my hair a MESS. I needed the works....root touch up, a hair cut and a deep wash and blow dry. I got all that and more!! I left with a flattering and gorgeous style. My hair stylist, Melissa was a MIRACLE worker. She practically preformed a make-over on my hair. I came in looking frumpy and left looking fabulous!! You would never know Melissa was a student, as her work and skills were better than nearly any licensed stylist I've gone to at any salon. My color, cut and style truly was perfection. Melissa had just the right knack of being friendly and talking to me when I was in her chair and then letting me sit in silence when she could tell I was just relaxed enjoying being pampered. I also want to praise the Kaizen Instructor who was overseeing the entire operations of her students working on clients and those students studying. The instructor was highly professional and friendly. She was ON TOP of every single aspect of what was going on in her Academy. She didn't miss a beat and is very hands on. She was helpful to every student and she walked the floor the entire time I was in there so she could keep an eye on everything, in order to teach, advise and just be involved with her students growth. Truthfully, she has done an amazing job from what I could see. Not only was my hair stylist, Melissa absolutely great, but I watched other students working and their clients all left with beautiful styles, color and cuts. Melissa worked magic on me. You should try to get in to see her before she graduates, as I know once she is at a salon down the line she will be FULLY BOOKED!! But even if you can't get Melissa you should definitely go to Kaizen Beauty Academy for hair, nail, facial and other services. Top notch Service at Reasonable Prices!! Hello I been coming to Kaizen Beauty Academy for over five years and today I had a outstanding women that's did my haircut named Melissa. Melissa was very helpful and understanding because I ask alot of questions because I have disabilities and she was so kind and polite.

I am currently a cosmetology student at Kaizen and I could not be happier with my choice. Before deciding to enroll I visited other beauty school but I ultimately chose Kaizen because I loved that the classes were smaller and all of the student look like one big family and sure enough that exactly what it was. I am now 5 months into the program and I love my school family, my teachers are amazing and I truly love both and love their different teaching styles. Every day we get to learn hands on wether on our mannequins or on clients and the teachers lovingly and patiently walk us through the service and are sure to check up on us to make sure we’re doing okay. Tanya and Jackie are super sweet and helpful when it comes to any questions you may have about the school. I will continue to recommend Kaizen to anyone who asks.

Me encanta esta escuela,soy estudiante de Cosmetology y me satisfacen mucho las horas de clases ,el ambiente es maravilloso y con muy buena energía, las maestras son espectaculares y muy bien preparadas.Tenemos un equipo de clases espectacular junto con Ms Paola nuestra teacher .Cuando comencé a buscar escuelas cerca de mi ubicación, visité varias y hoy después de estar aquí por un tiempo , sé, que sin dudas elegí la mejor .

My experience at kaizen was excellent!!! I recently graduated and the instructors were awesome especially miss Paola. She cares about her students and was very educated and has passion what she teaches. I learned alot. Is not only coming to school it was my second home . Everyone from the director ms Tania and Jackie the admissions rep where very helpful and caring .will highly recommend this school

Wouldn’t recommend. I went to school here years ago. And i remember speaking to the owner lady afterwards and she was just so rude i was so appalled. No couth or courtesy. Save your money go somewhere cheaper. You learn on the job anyways. There teachers are so old school to teaching dated styles. I’d give 0 stars if i could

Honestly worst school you can go to. I went a couple years back & I’ve always withheld my review of it because I liked the initial teacher I had but it all quickly went down hill when they let her go, I didn’t learn a thing after that. Classes are literally read off the book, they only teach you the mindset of working for someone else when this industry has so much to offer as entrepreneurs. I just got off the phone with the receptionist that didn’t even know how to go about continuing education when it comes time to renew your license she literally told me they don’t do continuing education & to go into a Sally’s & get a magazine that should help no further context -unbelievable, that is the perfect example of this school literally brainless. This school will have you out there being the worst stigma of this industry & leave you blind on how to go about your future in it, do yourself a favor & go somewhere else

I went in to the school on Friday February 2, 2024 for a consultation for a service(hair dye). Paola told me that I could come in today 02/05/24 at 11am but to arrive an hour early for the service. During the consultation Paola asked me to take off my hat to look at my hair and gave me a price for the service and everything. I arrive for my appointment and the cosmetologist there today told me there was no way they would be able to do my hair in the color I wanted because they would have to remove the color I currently have and go step by step and that would take at least 5 hours and that this is a school and they move really slow. I am so upset because I would have never gone to school had Paola said it could be done! It’s after 11am and Paola didn’t even show up to work today. How nice! I will not recommend going to this place for the cosmetologist to do your hair or for the staff to help you make any appointments.

Kaizen Beauty Academy was an excellent experience for a student provided service. The students are true professionals and are guided by seasoned instructors throughout the process. I highly recommend this spot for a cost effective simple hair, manicure, pedicure, and facial services.

I have been dying my hair blond for years I went in for a root touch up and after waiting for 30 mins they told me they can’t do that since it’s not color ? Definitely wouldn’t recommend

Very ghetto, unprofessional, and prejudice. The website says make appointment but jackie don't take appointments she says" first come first serve. Just shut the entire school down. The young have washed hair and sent me home with wet hair. When i asked do they comb out the hair she said your is tangled.

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Came in to get a nail service and was insulted about my ethnic headwear by Ms. Jackie. Additionally I was treated in a manner as if she did not want me to be serviced and I was unworthy of being in the facility . She has to go through diversity training before being allowed to work with customers. She is a horrible representation of what this schooling represents.
