I got a few services at kaizen. First a facial by Alexis and and a full set by Nick. Alexis hooked me up with birthday treats and left me glowing and relaxed. Nick did a beautiful job on a set of nails that lasted longer than any other set I've recieved. Definitely recommended!!

I hadn't gotten a Brazilian wax in years and I was so nervous. I decided to try sugaring since I have sensitive skin and it's more natural. Alexis, made me feel so comfortable and although it is a painful service she made every effort to make it as tolerable as possible. She is very knowledgeable and I am so glad I trusted the process because I am seeing the results. And it is getting less painful each visit. She is also hilarious and super sweet!

I love going to Alexis sugar waxes on my underarms. I can definitely tell that the hair grows back a lot thinner and I can go longer inbetween appointments.

2019: still coming faithfully to Debbie, now at her new location! I've added photos, the new location is just a block from the old one, and is amazing! 2017: My daughter and I have been coming to Debbie for over 6 years, and we'll keep coming! Clean salon, no issues with street parking in Japantown. Prices are very reasonable, which has allowed me and my daughter flexibility to experiment -- natural colors for me, and vibrant primary colors for my 13 yr old. She's always open to feedback, and works hard to meet our expectations. We've both had long hair, and very short styles. Atmosphere is professional, but casual; not pretentious. They have complete lines of products for purchase, and there's a nail station now, as well (I haven't tried the nail tech, so I don't know about those services or prices). Generally things run on schedule -- of course any salon can back up when clients are late, so if you're in a hurry, let her know at the start of your appt -- I've always been accommodated as requested. I always set my next appt before leaving, so I'm not sure how far in advance you should book. If I have a want-it-now need (or more likely my daughter) she can generally take me the same week. Love Debbie, love the other ladies, too, as they can tag team if we're in a hurry!

Anna has been cutting my hair for years. Each time I go is a great experience. She's good at what she does, provided excellent service and she's just a really nice person to know.

Anna is my girl! She's been taking care of my hair for over a year and she's amazing! I started going to her after my hair was butchered, she knew my pain and promised she'd take great care of me. Having curly hair, it's not easy to trust just anyone. She kept her promise, my hair is looking fabulous, and I'm happy. Thank you Anna, you're great at what you do!!!
