I came from out of town for my son's wedding. Kristen was very kind to open her salon on her day off to do my hair and makeup. She did an amazing job! I received so many compliments about the wonderful job she did. I felt amazing on such a special day because of her!

Kristi wash, cut, highlighted and styled my hair tonight, and cut and styled my two tweens’ hair. She is a true color artist and the only person I’ve ever been able to say, “Cut it to fit my face and personality,” and it’s perfect every time! I wouldn’t have anyone do my hair but Kalypso! My daughter went and got her hair done. I honestly can't say enough good things about here. The staff is absolutely amazing. They did such a wonderful job on my daughter's hair. They got it exactly the way she wanted it. I haven't seen my daughter smile as big as she did when she saw how it turned out. Thank you for making this possible for my daughter and making one little girl so excited. I definitely recommend everyone to check them out. We will definitely be back.

I just had an amazing cut and style with Kelly! It was my first time here and she did a great job. I probably received one of the best scalp massages ever, not to mention one of the best cuts as well! I showed her some pictures of what I was going for and it’s exactly how I envisioned. I have longer hair and needed some face frame layers and I love them! It’s a nice change and not too dramatic. Highly recommend!

I just went and got my hair done today at Kalypso and it was by far the best experience I’ve ever had getting highlights!!! I was super nervous beforehand with bad experience and the staff was super sweet and helpful over the phone and while I was there!!! I had the most amazing and sweetest girl named Kelly who was super helpful, helped pick what I wanted, treated me so nice and gave me the most beautiful carmel brown highlights. She went above and beyond and we made great conversation and I overall had a really amazing time. 10/10 recommend ❤️

I never received such an aggressive haircut before. Terrible experience, I wouldn’t recommend. Kristi didn’t listen to what I wanted and she didn’t seem to care either. Everytime she brushed my hair it seemed like I was getting slapped in the face with the brush. I had a headache after she aggressively washed my hair and she sure didn’t seem like she cared about the water temperature before she put it in my head. I wish I was over exaggerating how bad of an experience I had with her but I’m not. I walked in for an appointment 5 min early and waited, the only people in the building were talking in a back room and when it was my appointment time I walked back to let them know I was here, but the attitude of them responding “I’ll be with you in a minute” should’ve made me leave right there and then. I get it if your working with another client after the scheduled appointment time, but I’m sorry if they know they have an appointment at a certain time why was I the one to have to wait.

If anyone is looking for a great stylist, Kelly at Kalypso Salon in Ashwaubenon is fantastic! I needed a little prodding to change up my hair after not doing anything with it for almost 10 years. Kelly gave me a couple of options, I decided to just dive in and do something bold. She gave me gorgeous highlights and a beautiful (and easy to maintain😉) hairstyle. I greatly appreciate her easily answering my questions, being encouraging, and really executing what I wanted!🤩

The absolute best! I went to Kelly to get my hair dyed for the first time ever and she talked me through the whole process and was so sweet about the whole thing! Her work is absolutely amazing and I leave her chair feeling beautiful every time! I trust her with everything!!!

Very clean and inviting. The salon is also set up with comfort in mind! The staff are beyond kind and accommodating. Highly recommend Kelly, she’s the absolute best around!

Kelly is amazing! I am transitioning from dying to embracing my gray. Kelly did micro gray highlights to help with the demarcation line and did a fantastic job. She listened to what I wanted and did what I wanted, not what she envisioned it should be. Really appreciate that in a stylist. New to the area and have definitely found my new stylist in Kelly.

Ashtyn was great once again! She came in on her day off to style my hair for an event. My hair looked amazing and stayed in and curled all night. I was even able to wear it the next day because it looked perfect after sleeping in it!

Have been going to Kristi at Kalypso for years and recently had a new experience joining the whole wedding party of bride, bridesmaids, mother of the bride and mother of the groom to have hair and make-up done for my neice's wedding. It was a fun and efficient use of our time with amazing results for all of us. I admit I was a bit apprehensive never having had a professional make-up session and did not want to look TOO made up. It was amazing, I felt SO good, very natural just a better look than when I do it myself. It was very fast because Kristi has a system down to delegate parts of the process to other stylists while doing the final style herself. Great team work! It was handy walking across the parking lot to grab some muffins and coffee for breakfast at Crystal Cafe. I highly recommend Kalypso salon and "No" I am not a relative; just a very happy client.

I was disappointed that the receptionist and the walk-in stylist I had did not wear masks as it is mandated by law currently. I felt as though they did not care about their customers. I must say that the owner and all clients in the shop wore masks. And to them I say Thank You. Otherwise I love my usual stylist and her amazing talent. Again my own stylist was off and I needed my hair cut right away due to traveling. I know she would have worn a mask. She is amazing.

While my haircut is nice and it was styled nicely- Kristi seemed like she was either in a hurry or unhappy about something because the entire service felt rough and rushed. A little small talk was okay but overall I was uncomfortable physically and socially. I have an actual headache from the wash. Will not be returning! I see prior reviews that somehow are 5 starts but say protocols for covid weren't being followed and Kristi also mentioned how the pandemic is not as bad as they’re saying (I don’t see a medical degree diploma on the wall?) so now I’m concerned about how sanitary the place actually is. I wish I would have read reviews more carefully before choosing to support this business during a pandemic.
