Kanani Pearl Spa is a place to find a beautiful experience you give yourself. I highly recommend it. And a big bonus is the waterfalls that enhance an already calm and relaxed environment.

Had a blissful time at Kanani today. To start out, the physical space is exquisite. It is modern and very calming with “rivers” of water flowing along next to the floor, and maybe even under the floor? There were painted porcelain coi sitting in the “river” and I thought they were real at first! The sound of water is very soothing, and the artwork, some of sea turtles and a striking golden painting with Hawaiian flowers sets the decor apart from almost any other spa I have ever visited. Not over done or under done, it was just right, elegant, a little playful, and authentic. My massage with Amy is among the best I have ever had. She was very responsive, intuitive, and just connected. A few of the aromas she used were subtle and augmented the experience. Then my facial with Lauren was fantastic. She assessed my skin and just went to work as we chatted about life. She was gentle and really confident about what she was doing, I also liked the products she used and recommended, they also had some subtle aromas that I enjoyed. She spoofed up some facial things here and there which I very much appreciate. I highly recommend Kanani, they are true professionals who love what they do and it shows. I will definitely be back

I had the best experience here! I booked the Perfect Day package and just couldn’t be happier. Joe gave me the best massage I’ve ever had and my skin is just glowing after an incredible facial with Lauren. I’ll definitely be back.

It's such an amazing and transformational space. The water running and music sets the stage for an exceptional Island experience right in the heart of Portland! Joe was my LMT, and he was fabulous!! My friend had Mary Ellen and she too was amazing!!! Or other friend had a facial, and she lived it too. A 5 star experience!!

The owner, Mary Ellen, is a magician when it comes to neck and back massage, deep and powerful- I highly recommend her and this lovely little gem of a place in the Pearl. I love being accommodated last minute too, when I really need it.

Kelly just gave me the best massage of my life (and I've had quite a few). I also had a glorious scrub, which was a perfect way to get the session started. This was my first visit to Kanani and I was impressed in every way. The owner was friendly and accommodating, and every person I came across was pleasant and helpful. The facilities are much nicer than a typical day-spa (outside of a hotel spa setting), and the ambiance is incredibly relaxing. I will be back (as MUCH as possible)!

Not super happy with this place. I treated my mom, and myself to massages. 136x2=272$ + 20% gratuity = 326.40$. However, I was charged 368$. I guess they “forgot” to tell me that they already add a gratuity? The other thing, I had no sooner walked out from my service, than my mom’s therapist complained to me that my mom was “still in there!” Ok, sorry, my mom is 80 and has one eye, so it might take her a bit longer to get dressed. I said that maybe it was too dark for her to get dressed (quickly). The therapist suggested that I go in to help her. Instead I called in “mom..” no sooner had I started speaking than I was scolded for being too loud and “disrupting other customers.” I have trouble believing that, in part because three therapists and the owner were all standing in the hall. In any case, it’s too bad because I liked my person (male) and I’m sure I would have been back. I normally get massages every other week. But there were just too many things that weren’t right.

Kanani was the only spa in the Portland area that was able to fit in 3 of us for a spa day on short notice. Everyone was so nice, and we really felt pampered. Two of us had a facial and massage, and I had a body scrub and massage. Everything was great! I have to give a shout out to Joe - he gave me a body scrub and massage, and it was so wonderful. He was not afraid to get in there and work on some knots I’ve had for a while, while also keeping it very relaxing. My daily headaches have been a lot better since, which is a huge plus. Thank you to everyone at Kanani!

The person I interacted with to book and schedule was very rude and curt and did not feel was good service. I felt ad though it was more of a bother in her day. Would not recommend.

Long overdue review about Kanani Pearl Spa. I've been going to Lauren Rose for Facials for the last two years and can't say enough good things about her and everyone at the Spa. She completely changed my skin after I started experiencing breakouts at age 40. I get complements on my skin all the time, and am glowing every time I walk out of Kanani, which I attribute to Lauren Rose and all of the incredible skin care lines she has introduced me to. Don't skimp on your skin care routine ladies! Regular facials and good product lead to beautiful skin!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Kanani Pearl Spa. I had an hour long facial and an hour long massage, both were incredible. The staff were very friendly and informative, and made me feel so welcome and all around fantastic during the treatments I received. Joe was my massage therapist, he did a phenomenal job. Laura did my facial and she was an absolute delight. Thank you for making me feel like a goddess for day!!!

I have been to a ton of spas. This place is crazy small and overpriced. The treatments don’t have much massage and the lunch is a joke. For lunch they don’t even ask what y want to drink and the food was dry chicken. I really feel like I was jipped. I kept on wanting to go home the whole time. Their is no parking and finding it is very hard. I have no idea why this place has good reviews

I had a lomi lomi massage here which I booked the same day and enjoyed very much. The staff was very friendly and my masseuse was excellent. I am not in the pearl district much but I recommend this spa and would return.
