It's a small neighborhood salon with Amy and Kary doing their thing. I use whoever is available if I don't have an appointment. I go there for coloring and for a trim. They are every customer friend. I been going there since I first move to the neighborhood and been going there ever since even though I no longer live nearby. Most of their customers are repeating customers like myself. They do have new customers. If you want to do perm and color it is best to make a appointment.

My daughter got her hair cut at Kary's. Not much to say about the cut itself, it was simply shortening the hair. What's strange is that there are no prices posted. There is no price given before services are rendered. We were charged $40 for the hair cut. No dye, no styling, no shampoo, no wash, no rinse. A simple child's haircut for $40, and of course add on tip. If the price is posted or clearly stated upfront, then this would be less of an issue, but it's as if the price was pulled out of thin air. They can say any price after the fact and there would be no way to dispute it. Very suspicious and unprofessional.

Every time I trust my hair to these ladies I leave very satisfied. Kary is always giving you good advice on what type of care your hair needs to maintain your color and your hairstyle. Great customer service, decent prices. Very much recommend this place.

I got pixie cuts here twice. My choice to cut my hair that short wasn't questioned like at other salons, and they gave me great advice on maintenance. They were incredibly kind and patient and my hair looked amazing when they were done. Am going back soon, because there's no other place I trust to give me the haircut I want, and I'm so excited!

I have known Kary for about 25 years. I was one of her first customers. She is an excellent beautician and a customer-oriented salon owner. I recently moved back to Philadelphia, and I immediately went back to Kary's as a regular customer and have been totally satisfied at every visit.

My best salon. Been going there for 2 decades. Family friendly and clean environment. Recommended to my friends and family members. Kary and Amy make sure you looks your best after they done with you. They make you feel at home like an old dear friend. Miss my girls after the quarantine months.
