Sabrina is an absolute ROCK STAR. I had the absolute pleasure of having Sabina work her magic on my hair, and I cannot recommend her enough! From the moment I walked into the salon, she made me feel completely at ease with her warm and friendly demeanor. What sets Sabina apart is her incredible attention to detail and genuine passion for her craft. She took the time to listen to what I wanted, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made sure we were on the same page before starting. The result? A hairstyle that exceeded my expectations! I have been going to Kate Kandel salon for a little over a year. I was hesitant because I loved my hairstylist where we lived before, and change it hard! I am so incredibly happy with Neeley Israel. I never have a bad hair day and receive compliments regularly. Her professionalism and attention to detail make her an amazing stylist. Also, sometimes salons can be stuffy or loud because of staff conversations. The entire staff at Kate Kandel has been incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. I cannot recommend Neeley and this salon enough.

I’ve struggled for years to find a stylist brave enough to cut short layers in my curly hair, but BreAnna exceeded all my expectations. Her balayage work is consistently perfect, with the most beautiful tones that always suit me. The salon itself is a welcoming and gorgeous space, making it a pleasure to spend a few hours there. Plus, BreAnna’s lively and fun conversation makes the experience even better. I can’t recommend her enough! I also recently got a Brazilian Blowout with Idi and she did a fantastic job. Couldn’t be happier with the results so far!

Sabrina's haircutting technique and color were next level. And she is one of the nicest people you will ever meet! Sabrina over-delivered! I have Idi do my hair and she is THE best!! I came to the salon last fall and had so much breakage and damage from stress and an unhealthy lifestyle. Idi has worked with me over the last year, keeping me on track with maintenance trims and recommending products that have brought my hair back to life. I always look forward to my visits with her (every six weeks) for a revitalized look and a relaxing time at the salon. Can't say enough about my experience here at Kate Kandel.

I have been going to BreAnna for years, and my hair has never looked better! BreAnna is incredibly talented, cares very much about her clients, and always produces amazing results. The salon overall has a welcoming atmosphere, and every stylist there is so kind and does fantastic work. I'll never go to another salon, Kate Kandel Salon is absolutely the best!

I’ve been coming monthly since May to see Idi. She is wonderful! That first time, I asked for my first undercut (so kinda a big move) which was something she’d never done before. She was hesitant but I insisted and she did a wonderful job! She has helped me maintain my undercut and provided advice and products that help me at home. All the stylists have been friendly, even offering something to drink. I look forward to my time with Idi and the attention she gives me. My one complaint about the salon would be the prices. Small amounts of product to take home or add on services (scalp scrub particularly) have cost me an additional $40 or so, without being advertised, when the haircut/wash/dry is already $55. So on the days I treat myself a bit more, I walk out having spent $100+. To be honest, based on my experience, I think the $55 for haircut/wash/dry is reasonable. The other stuff is a bit steep though.

I have been going to this salon for a few years now I always had a great experience in the past, but I went recently and I had really long hair and I told the stylist what I wanted (V Cut With long layers and face framing but I wanted to keep my length) Now I don’t always get a lot of time to myself because I have kids so this was supposed to be my me time, enjoyable time. I got head massage and she was massaging my head shaking my head so hard rubbing my head so hard that it hurt it was extremely painful, and the cut she trimmed off like 4/5 inches of my hair, no layers at all, She did do face framing bangs, but we had no conversation prior or agreement that she was going to cut my hair straight and cut so much off. I am extremely disappointed with, the outcome of my haircut, it takes me so long to grow out my hair and the fact that she just cut it off and then afterwards told me oh it’s still kind of long when it barely passes my shoulders is disappointing.

I had the most wonderful time with Sabrina. My hair never looked that amazing! She definitely exceeded my expectations. She just knows what your hair needs and gives you honest opinions on what’s possible and what she would recommend. On top of everything she is absolutely fun to talk to and very sweet. Highly recommend her and the Salon!

I've been to many hair stylists, but none compare to Kate. Her talent with both color and cuts is nothing short of magical—I honestly think she is part hair witch. She somehow know exactly what will suit you, and talks you through why or why not something would work. Seriously she’s the best and fun to be around so just book the appointment!

All the stylist at Kate Kendall salon are wonderful but I cannot rave enough about Sabrina. She did a lengthy consult at the beginning of my appointment so we can figure out a game plan and she took her time. I’m very happy with how my curly hair turned out.

Sabrina was *chefs kiss* I went in for highlights and she did a wonderful job! She really looked at my hair and listened to the color I wanted. She was basically a chemist mixing all the colors to make me my perfect blonde shade! She worked her magic and I read a book, perfect appt! Highly recommend!

I wanted to let my very short hair grow out, look good in the what is usually a painful process and oh, by the way, not look like everyone else! She did it!!! Leaving negative reviews is difficult especially when it is so personal, but this is necessary. Do not be fooled with the description of some of the hairdressers in this salon on its website. I fell into the trap. I booked a haircut with the "level 5" stylist Neely at this salon on Thu 5/2/24. She gave me probably the worst haircut I have ever had in my life. She has no talent, she needs to go back to school to learn how to cut hair. I told her I wanted long layers, showed her several pictures of women with long hair, told her I like the Jennifer Aniston style with long layers and not to cut more than 2 inches of hair, because I like my hair LONG. I had my hair shoulder lenght. This person does not hold back to cut mercilessly without any structure. I blame myself for not stopping her, she put the chair away from the mirror but still, I should have paid more attention. I thought she knew what she was doing, but she did not! She didn't show me the back when she was done. I saw my face in the mirror and I thought she had cut off more than I expected, I paid and I left but I realized the next day when I washed my hair that she had left my hair a massacre. She left a hole in the back of my head, left my hair thin all over my head and especially at the ends, she cut inside the hair for no reason all over my head, the layers don't blend well at all. All my hair is uneven with short layers without shape. I complained to BreAnna the "manager", I asked for my money back, I didn't want to compensate someone who has done so much damage to my hair. She told me she was only offering me an "adjustment". Adjustment? To cut my hair even shorter! No way. She was rude and offered to hang up on me because I was unhappy, told me I was not welcome in her salon anymore, this place left me in tears. I do not recommend this "hair salon" whatsover. Stay away from this place! Check my picture in yelp. I couldn't add it here and judge by yourselves. I should've checked yelp before to go to this salon there are several complainst about the lacking of quality and customer service in this salon.

Sabrina Lanasa is the best! She did my hair in Nashville for almost 5 years and every time I was just blown away by her work. If I ever tried to go somewhere else I had to come back to have her fix it. Greenville is SO lucky to have her!

A few years back I moved, and while I never had a horrible haircut, I never had a great one until I booked an appointment with Sabrina Lanasa. From the minute I sat in her chair I knew it was going to be a good visit. She takes the time to make sure you're comfortable and aligned on what you're looking for, and her haircuts are fabulous from when you leave the salon to how they grow out until your next visit. She's also so kind and fun to chat with, adding to the salon experience. Greenville is lucky to have her!

Ask for Sabrina LaNasa - she is the Best!!! She listened to my thoughts and concerns regarding my thin hair and color. Execution of my haircut was very thorough and unique. She set me up for the next time I need a haircut. I asked her to give me a whole new look and she nailed it! The cut and style really is right on point for me! She also recommended a hair growing method that the salon sells. I have high hopes that their recommendation works for me.

I see Sabrina for all of my haircuts. I moved here from Las Vegas a year and a half ago and did not think I would ever get services as good as I got there. Actually my haircuts are better than what I was getting. She takes her time and actually listens to what you want, I would recommend her any day of the week and she’s also really fun to talk to.

I’ve never been happier with a hair cut. I have thick, coarse hair, that is challenging to cut. I’m so happy to have found Sabrina; she’s truly an artist. She checks every angle. My heavy hair now has movement, precision shape, and it looks great whether I wash-and-go or take the time to blow dry and style. I’ve never had so many strangers compliment my hair. Sabrina has been my hairdresser for the last 3 years. In that time she has learned how to translate the things I say like “I don’t know it’s just weird” and “this side right here is mad at me”. I have curly hair and a good cut makes all the difference. Sabrina keeps me looking fantastic because not only does she know what she’s doing but she pays attention to your hair as she’s cutting it. The thing that really makes Sabrina a 5⭐️ stylist isn’t her skill (which is amazing) it’s just her. She talks to you before she ever picks up her scissors. She wants to know how you feel about your hair, what’s going well, what’s not working for you. She builds a relationship with her clients. Of course that relationship is what nearly brought me to tears when she told me she was leaving Nashville. You can trust Sabrina with your hair. She’ll make sure that you get the very best cut and you’ll find yourself building a relationship with her too.

Sabrina is absolutely amazing… I have very difficult thick wavy/curly hair that not many ppl cut correctly but Sabrina has been a God send she nails my haircuts every single time.. I absolutely recommend her she’s my favorite!!
