I’ve been getting my lashes done here for years and have never had an issue with my lashes. But, I had to come back to change my review. I went to a different lash tech, since Kat was out sick, and she told me that Kat had been putting clusters on aimlessly and that it was heavily damaging my natural lashes. One cluster was being put on multiple natural lashes, stopping them from growing and causing my sets to look thinner. The way the lashes were applied caused them to tangle, creating the uncomfortable feeling my lashes gave me which is not normal. My tech doesn’t normally point out flaws in other businesses work, but she said that Kats is known for this. I switched lash places and have noticed my lashes are able to be thicker, now that there are more lashes to put extensions on. But, when switching Kat’s was very rude about canceling my subscription and said we had to put it in writing, then canceled it anyway.

Unfortunately after specifically saying I didn’t want my natural lashes hurt, they were damaged. My cornea was also cut by either glue or the tweezers when my eyes were glued together. I was also charged almost $200 for a fill when I was charged much less the first time. I have emailed with no response.

Great bedside manner, making you comfortable and at ease immediately. Their work is not only beautiful, it's done well, and they make you feel good the whole time they're doing it.

Edit: They reached out and got me an appointment to make it right. I am very appreciative of this so they have my business just for that. The lashes looked amazing. But I don’t understand how after one week I had already lost 50% of the lashes on one eye. I have had them done before and didn’t have that issue. So on vacation one eye had this amazing look and the other was almost totally bare. $200 is a lot compared to other places for just a hybrid set. So it was disappointing.

Kat is truly amazing, I had previously got my lashes done here in February by someone that is no longer at the studio, and the lashes didn’t make it a week. Within 24 hours of notifying Kat, she had massages me to get me back in, and made sure she was able to get me in before I went back out of town. I can not express how wonderful a job she did, I have had my lashes done several other place since I was here in February and she is 1000% the best out of the other salons all the salons in Knoxville. Very experienced and knowledgeable, and really listened to what I was wanting, I will definitely be back!!!!

Kat took me in as a “foreign fill” (a fill from a different lash studio). Since then they gained a long term customer. Kat is so stinking funny, she doesn’t push for conversation, but will most definitely join in if you have loads to tell her. Front desk girl, Della is wonderful as well! Warm greeting, great waiting room conversations. I just love going to places that end up giving you the feeling of being with friends. Not to mention I feel freaking fabulous when I leave!

I did have a 5 star on this place, but had to change it. Kat always did a good Job but the last time I went there she raised her prices by 20% and she didn't do as nearly as good of a job as she use to. I felt like she was rushing to get more people done??

I had an amazing experience here with Kat. She was absolutely amazing! She made me feel comfortable during my visit, and confident after. I have already scheduled my next appointment. The staff was very friendly and the space was nice and clean!

It was so informative and relaxing it was a beautiful atmosphere and the people are amazingly good I love my new eyelashes and I enjoyed my visit there. The second time I went back I got my eyelashes lifted Max and they are amazing I'm so happy with them

Just had my 2nd visit here, rating 5 stars because the service I received was fantastic as far as the quality of this wax service. However, the lady who did my wax was not super friendly, I felt like anytime I talked to her she looked at me like I was crazy. Could just be me, but that’s a pretty personal service and feel like it can be a little uncomfortable if your waxer isn’t somewhat friendly. My first experience here was the opposite, my waxer was very nice and talked during the service. However, the wax service itself almost killed me. Obviously it’s a sensitive area and it’s not going to feel great, there were times that I thought the whole thing was getting ripped off. Not sure if the quality of the service will outweigh the customer service part in the future for me.

So disappointed...I went to Kat's in January 2022 for a lash lift and eye brow wax. The lash lift was great but the eyebrow wax removed skin with the wax and I was left with scabbing on both eyes. I spoke with owner and she told me next time they will use a different wax and shouldn't have the issue. Went back again tonight and while the girl who did the eyebrow wax was very nice, it was very clear she was inexperienced and had no clue what she was doing. My eyebrows are completely different shapes, one much thinner and much shorter than the other. She held up the mirror and I nearly cried. I didn't know what to say but I knew I didn't want her to do anything else. To add insult to injury was to find at checkout that the credit I was given for the first bad wax didn't even cover half of the second bad eyebrow wax. Now that I'm home they are even worse than I first thought.
