This is my 2nd time at Kay’s and I will never go anywhere else! Bella listens to your vision, talks you through her process, and does an AMAZING job. Last time we did a warmer toned brunette (which was absolutely beautiful), and this time, I wanted to transition to brighter blonde to compliment my skin tone but low maintenance and something that would fade nicely since I am about to have a baby! She absolutely killed it and I feel very confident. The salon itself is clean, tidy, and a really great environment (obsessed with all of the plants). Highly recommend!

I have been coming to Kay’s for 4 years now! I couldn’t recommend any other salon for your hair needs this place is the BEST. I moved away to Dallas and I DRIVE 5 hours all the way to this salon to come see Bella for my hair. She’s the sweetest girl ever who always is able to give me exactly what I want! I have converted my siblings here along with my mom and SEVERAL friends!! They all have nothing but amazing things to say about Kay’s ♥️ Bella you’re the best at what you do!

My niece went in and had the worst experience. Please educate your cosmetologist on their color schemes and if they’re new stylists with little to no experience please start them off as assistants. When she asked it to be fixed they gave her the run around and didn’t make it a priority to fix it AFTER management said she could come in the following morning then canceled. No one should pay $400 for a cut and color they hated.

This was my first time at Kay's Salon and Spa. I got a cut and dry with Andy and left there extremely pleased. I highly recommend him. The cut was exactly what I was looking for.

I love Andy. He has been doing mine and my daughter’s hair for several years now and knows what he is doing. I had gone somewhere else once and they ruined my hair and Andy was able to fix it. I won’t go to anyone else but Andy now.

Bella always takes good care of me. She has such a calming energy about her and takes her time which is refreshing because it never feels rushed. She will continue to be my Go To stylist and I appreciate her amazing attention to detail.

I can’t say enough about Kay’s salon and how much I miss this place since we moved. I have a full head of gray hair and spent a lot of time at Kay’s Salon covering up these roots! David was always realistic with with my hair color options to help keep my costs down/decrease the upkeep! I never left the salon without a color and cut I loved! He spends time learning the newest techniques and about new products. The atmosphere at Kay’s is unbeatable! Andy, Skyla, and Kay always treated me as if I were a client of their own. I highly recommend Kay’s Salon to anyone looking for a new hairstylist!

I love Kay’s Salon and Spa! The environment and services are superior to any salon I’ve been to. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. I see Skyla for my cut and color and always can rely on her. Anytime I’ve had to reschedule an appointment because of a conflict on my end she has gone above and beyond to make it work! I’ve had my hair done by David and Andy, love them both so much that even though I live in Memphis, Tn I wait for my trips back to Texas to book hair appointments. Kay’s Salon is the best!! Been going to David for about 12 years. 12 years!! David is a color master 🤩 I’ve seen a lot of change over the years. Stylists come and go, but their current team is phenomenal! Very clean salon, super friendly staff, wide array of products, and very talented stylists. Highly recommend this place!

I have been going to David Solis for hair services since 2013 and I will not have anyone else touch my hair. He is patient as I try to figure out what change I want and gives me honest feedback on what would work and not work based on lifestyle and personality. I also just really enjoy coming to the salon. Kay, Andy, and Sky are all amazing people and incredibly friendly. I highly recommend services by any stylist here.

Kay's Salon is by far the best salon I've been to in San Antonio. When I moved here from NYC I had a very hard time finding a salon that I liked. Then I met David Solis! Everybody is friendly AND knowledgeable, I've always gone to David after being recommended to him by a friend. David's amazing!! He is an awesome hair stylist and knows so much about everything hair-related. I have had my hair colored, cut and have done a few Brazilian treatments with him and all has been great. I'm super careful about Brazilian treatments and had actually never done one before but I felt comfortable with him and loved the results. I always get lots of compliments after visiting here! David is also just an all around awesome person and we always have great conversations as well. I highly recommend this salon!

Andy does the best high lights I've ever had done in my life however I'm super disappointed in the color :/ I paid 310 dollars for a mild mild change. Had he been upfront that my hair was too fragile to go as light as I wanted I would have held off on getting anything done. Again really really sucks to have spent so much at Christmas for results I wasn't really looking for, for those reasons I won't come back and again sucks because he is a good stylist.

Everyone here is incredibly friendly and Skyla is a genius and she has done amazing things for my hair!! I’ve recommended her to everyone I know. She is so knowledgeable and helps me keep my hair healthy and pretty. Everyone here is so amazing and if anyone says differently, they are probably some Karen with unrealistic expectations about how hair coloring actually works.

Kay's salon and spa is like home to me, I've been going there for years with David, Kira, Andy, and skyla I can't believe it's taken me 5 years to write a review and I wish I could write twenty more! I have never gotten a bad haircut, David has helped me explore so many different styles and even dabble with color, help me get through the good and the ugly and just some bad they have saved me from multiple botched jobs, they have all inspired me to go into cosmetology myself and still do to this day! I recommend anyone and everyone I can to come and visit this salon because they are just amazing people all around. I can't wait until next time! Hopefully sooner rather than later!
