Always ALWAYS alwaayys happy when I leave. Been coming back to Kareen for 3 years now. She is fantastic, quick, and quality oriented- will always make your vision come true. Let’s start off with the lovely lady who did my hair mzbarbertou Fernandez, I’m not a social person anywhere and I was very comfortable with her had a good conversation was explained how my hair was going to be a process and it will take time and was introduced to new products and was happy with the results and overall how she knows how to keep a conversation flowing and make you feel very comfortable. I can’t be more excited to have this beautiful lady to get my hair to the way I want it. Recommended 100% and if you have any questions or concerns she responds and will book you to your liking but of course to her availability. Love it we’ll definitely come back to her when I have a crazy idea for my hair 🫶🏼

My daughter and I have been going to Kareen for about 2 years now. The vibe is always relaxing, very neat and super clean salon. My daughters hair was damaged really bad and thanks to Kareen, my daughter decided to go natural to revive her hair. Honestly she saved my daughter's hair!! I don't trust anyone else literally.

My daughter has been going to this place to get her hair done by Kareen for a few years now! Every time we go there she is so warm and inviting to me and my daughter! She would cry every time she got her hair done at a previous place but with Karen’s magical hands she never cries! The prices are the best in town too by far! Love it there will always recommend to anyone!

My experience was such a good one. The stylist was fast and the braids are not tight at all. The salon was very clean and cute. The stylist even suggested adding some color braids to the style because it’s summer and why not, right??? Love it and will keep coming back

MzBarbertou Fernandez, is absolutely the best hair dresser/barber! I have been following her to any salon she goes too, since I was 24 and I’m 47 today. I will fly down from Alabama or San Antonio. To get my hair done., because I don’t trust anyone else to cut or color my hair. I’ve recommended her because she’s so great and my friends love her too! She’s very honest when it comes to ideas you have regarding your hair. If it won’t look good, she’ll tell you! She’s also fixed botch’s jobs , I or other hairdressers have made on my daughters’ hair. Once I let my step daughter trim my daughters bangs and she cut them so short I wanted to cry and MzBarbertou actually made it look better ! She save the day for my then 16 year old! I absolutely love her! She’s the best!!

Today was my first apt with Kareen. I walked in on time for my apt and asked for Kareen to let her know I was there. Kareen pointed to someone else as a joke to say that someone else was her. I didn’t realize I walked into a middle school. I felt that was very unprofessional. Next, I waited 30 min without any updates. When I asked if she would like for me to come another time she then told me she had another 30 minutes on someone else’s hair. Ok, that’s fine however I wasn’t a walk in. I made an apt and if she wanted me to wait an hour after my apt to begin she could at least gave me a heads up or offered for me to reschedule. Next, she had someone else wash my hair. Again, if I’m paying YOU for a service, don’t pond me off for someone else to do the job. I got fed in cornrows with a few of the ends being cut blunt which look horrible while the other ends of the cornrows look natural. Finally, she had the audacity to tell me she didn’t charge me for the half a$$ed “deep condition” she didn’t do herself. To even throw that out there is insulting. I waited an hour for you to start my hair with someone else washing my hair for you to remind me that you decided not to charge me for a “deep condition.” Just plain rude, unprofessional, and inconsiderate. I’ll catch a flight for a “deep condition and cornrows before I waste time and money in her shop.

Worst place I’ve ever been! I DO NOT RECOMMEND! First I found this woman on IG and being new to the area I figured I’d try her out. I asked her for a price quote and she sent me the link to book. I asked her if there would be an upcharge, if we needed a consultation, or if she could confirm I qualified for the price on the site. I even sent a picture afterwards, but she never responded. I booked anyway the site takes a $50 deposit. When we get to the salon it was FREEZING. Very uncomfortable because even though they spoke English she spoke in another language the whole time. I asked specifically for no heavy products & she lied while slabbing gel in my hair. She couldn’t handle the job so she asked another woman to help. They were yanking my head to different directions, I could literally see the build up of product leaving white stuff in my hair. It took longer than my last stylist by herself, but at the end I paid the remainder of my balance. However Kareen had the audacity to ask for double the price I was booked for. Never spoke one time about the price prior or warned me before adding on services that costed more. So when I told her I paid my balance in full, she literally Slandered me. She posted pictures, lied about my character, and made up a fake story about the exchange. She threatened to try and take more money. I feel like she targeted me because she seen a woman in uniform and tried to take advantage. Be careful Kareen is a Scammer and will try to swindle you out of money if you don’t keep your receipts. Definitely not worth the hassle. Not even quality work. FIND A BETTER STYLIST & thank me for the warning later. Worst experience since I got to El Paso. Avoid this place

Went in to get hair colored and highlights best place in town. Very relaxing and comfortable. Sandra has been doing my hair and my little boys as well for 2yrs now.

I went today and got my hair braided by Kareen. She was really nice and makes you feel comfortable. I appreciate that she braids your hair with care. The braids aren’t tight and she was gentle with my natural hair as well. She gave me tips and feedback on my natural hair which I appreciate. Her salon is clean and neat- will definitely come back. Only downside I forgot to tip, but will do next time.

I would highly recommend this salon! Very clean and professional. The best I’ve been to in El Paso!! The owner is one of the best braider I’ve seen and I’m definitely going back to her! All smiles this way. ☺️

Karen stole me from my previous stylists. She has been braiding my hair since eight months, and I'm truly satisfied. Her salon is clean and quiet, so I feel at home. I also recommend her handmade hair gel which is quite effective and not too greasy.

She’s amazing and my daughter loves how she handles her hair and so do I. Best hair stylist I’ve every seen. Like ever!!! Gentle with our hair and keeps it nourished and looking healthy.
