Prices more than reasonable for the service you receive. Wonderful haircut and they seem to be adept at anything, from a simple cut to a perm. Also have been around for decades. Pinnacle of reliability and satisfaction.

Ken's Hair Design is the best hair salon in the area! I inquired at around 10 different salons for the hairstyle I wanted, and they were the only ones who said they could do it—and the result was just amazing! The prices are also very affordable. I was truly impressed by Ken's patience while doing my hair. You won't regret choosing them; Ken and Debra are very professional. I'm looking forward to trying new hairstyles with them!

Ken and Debra are the best! I popped in today after making an appointment in the morning for a haircut, and they were both very attentive, friendly, and welcoming :D prices are so affordable you can get shampoo, cut, blow dry, and styling for $40 which is just hard to beat in sf. Ken took so much care to style my hair in the end which was perfect because I was on my way to a party in the afternoon and got so many compliments. Thanks Ken and Debra!

If you’re looking for an affordable, quality haircut in the area, look no further! Been coming in for a few months and gotten a few great haircuts from Ken and an excellent perm from Debra. Ken & Debra are always friendly and happy to listen to what I want to do with my hair and work with me to make it happen!

Ken is the best hairstylist I’ve had in Chinatown. I’ve gone to multiple salons in Chinatown for the past 5 years and Ken is my favorite. He pays a lot of attention to detail. Him and his wife, Debra really respects the customer’s time when they do scheduling.

Ken & Deborah are a great team! First time cutting my hair and color there ! Ken is a great hair stylist and Deborah is a great colorist! They did a great job on my hair! Friendly and clean place ! Will be back ! Highly recommend

Amazing!! I had medium length hair and I wanted to go very short. They costed me a total of $35 including shampoo and blow drying. Ken asked me exactly what I wanted, I didn’t show him any pictures, cause I just wanted a simple A-line cut. I explained what I was looking for and he got it. He was super quick, precise and really kind. I absolutely loved my experience and will definitely go here again! They accept Venmo or cash.

Ken and his wife are great. I have very little hair on my head to cut but Ken still managed to create a style for me and patiently cut my hair to my satisfaction. He is very experienced, meticulous and put in a good amount of effort. His wife washed my hair before and after the cut and was very considerate. She even suggested that I go to Costco for a product that could be beneficial to the health of my hair follicles. Both, husband and wife are very knowledgeable about hair. I highly recommend Ken's Hair Design. Note: Call in advance to set up an appointment as that's the usual way to get a slot in their calendar.

The husband and wife team of Ken and Debra honors appointments and will turn away walk-in’s if that will interrupt the appointments. Their place is cozy, bright, and spic and span. It is my new go-to place for my haircut now.
