Always have an absolutely fantastic experience with Melody. I have been getting my hair cut with Melody for the past 5 or so years. Melody speaks both Korean and Chinese fluently (and English of course) so you can get the exact style you want. My hair is black and straight; most times I get a mid-length cut with layers (pics 1, 2, 5) which comes out to around $50-60 as of 2024 and once I got a perm which I absolutely loved (>$300). The perm is shown in the collage (6th pic: from top to down and left to right: before, during, right after, and a few hours after; and 7th pic). The perm lasted 1.5 years and still looked fresh (3rd pic is around the 1 year mark, 4th pic is after I got a cut after the 3rd pic, 8th pic is around 1.5 years); it would have lasted longer if my hair hadn't all grown out by then.
